Todd was extremely polite and professional during our conversation. I was getting several quotes for a full home inspection and ended up choosing another inspector based strictly on scheduling. Todd seemed very knowledgeable on all key aspects of home inspection. He also spent a considerable amount of time explaining types of radon testing, what the results mean, and whether it should be included in the inspection.

When I called Todd, I asked him what kind of experience he had with the specific type of mobile home I was looking at purchasing. He was refreshingly honest and told me he did not have much and then proceeded to look through is contacts with other home inspectors to find one that likely did have experience with mobile homes. He was helpful, courteous, and honest. While I didn't use his services, I would recommend him based on this refreshing encounter.

The home inspection was thorough and Todd explained features of the house as we went through the house. He was willing and able to answer all questions and allowed us to take the time to examine the entire property. We had a report emailed within 24 hours that provided us with the information we needed to move forward. The entire process went smoothly and the feedback Todd provided was prompt.

Todd was there early, stayed late and made sure we understood the information. He provides a big binder that goes through each part of the house and contains his notes and information about issues that can crop up. He has a contractor background and can discuss how urgent projects might be or what can wait. He did not mind us asking lots of questions. The home he inspected had a rain hat on the water heater exhaust that was not secured correctly. The hat had fallen down and was capping the exhaust - a dangerous risk for the (then) homeowners of carbon monoxide. He decided he couldn't leave it and repaired it. Talk about going the extra mile. He is soft spoken, thorough and reasonably priced. I would use him again and recommend his services to anyone I know.
