We really enjoyed working on this customer's century vintage home and appreciate her evaluation. To add some context to the project description and price she entered, one "room" was/is a massive combination Kitchen/Great room with vaulted ceilings. The other room was a double MBR suite in which we had to remove 3 layers of wallpaper, some of the layers previously painted, including on the ceiling, and do massive plaster repairs on the ceiling and walls. We also did major prep, repairs and fine enameling of all the woodwork, windows, doors, and trim. In truth, it was more of a restoration project than a painting project. The actual painting took up far less time than all of the other prep work that preceded it. We are very familiar with projects that have a "rough" condition starting point wherein the prep needs are extensive, and we pride ourselves in our ability to transform those spaces into beautiful living spaces that can be savored over the long term.

Description of Work: I was in a bind trying to get my garage trim painted on a quick timeline due to a city citation. I had three weeks left and of course most of the painting places are booked months in advance. Kurt quickly gave an estimate and was going to squeeze my job in due to the timing and the fact that it was small. I ended up not using them as a friend has now volunteered to help me, however I do appreciate Kurt's professionalism and willingness to help. Would definitely use Home Transformations for future projects!

Description of Work: Although we only had Kurt give us an estimate, we were so very impressed with him and his professionalism. He knows "his stuff" - there's no doubt about that - and if a rather tight budget weren't the issue, we would have gone with him in a minute. We KNOW we would have gotten our money's worth!!! His estimate was in no way out of line - we were just able to save a bit going with another highly recommended painter. We really hope to use Kurt in the future with some other painting projects. He has a great artistic eye and gave us some wonderful suggestions for paint schemes. Thank you Kurt!!! You're the best!!

Smooth as silk.
Description of Work: Kurt showed up on time. His workers got right to work prepping the kitchen, bathroom and basement for painting. They removed the nails and patched. Plastic was put down over the floors and area's were taped off. The job was finished in the two day period that he promised. He was very professional. He said he would be at my place at 9am and he was. How thoughtful. This gave me time to use the treadmill, shower and not be rushed. This was so unlike the painter I use to hire. Kurt was great and I'm a very happy customer.

WE DIDN'T KNOW THAT THIS CUSTOMER WANTED US WRAPPED UP BY 4 PM, BUT WE ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO ACCOMMODATE ANY SCHEDULING NEEDS WHEN WE KNOW ABOUT THEM. I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE ASKED. SO, WE'RE SORRY IF WORKING PAST 4 PM CAUSED ANY INCONVENIENCE. THIS MEMBER WAS REALLY NICE FOR US TO WORK WITH, INVITING OUR INPUT ON COLOR SELECTIONS AND TRUSTING US TO SIMPLY COME IN AND APPLY OUR SKILLS TO PRODUCE A SATISFYING RESULT QUICKLY SO HE COULD HAVE HIS HOUSE BACK TO ENJOY.
