Everything went really well from start to finish! The quoting process was easy and fast. Kurt was easy to work with and explained their full process before providing a quote and we discussed it again just before the project started. Once the work started, the team started and finished in about a week, including a day or two of rain that sidelined them. They were really helpful with some trim color suggestions and once I made a decision, the work was taken care of. I would absolutely hire them again!

Home transformations was one of the best organizations we’ve ever worked with on a project. They were extremely responsive and did outstanding work.

Kurt was remarkably responsive, coordinated well with the other contractors that came in (storm windows, carpenter, wildlife management). HIs company painted the trim of my stucco house which had not been touched since before 1994. They also pressure washed and oil painted my deck. There were repairs needed. He recommended other contractors when I asked, but definitely did not push them, but they were a wonderful and cooperative team. Issues were immediately and satisfactorily addressed, small details were handled, he helped me with things outside of his scope (removed wires from the side of my house, removed saplings from the side of my house). He saw my house as a whole, and worked comprehensively to achieve my goal of a total overhaul. He and his team were very respectful and comprehensive communicators. Work was done on time, and my house looks absolutely amazing.I would like to add that I am a single woman, and I never got that weird condescension, that sometimes happens when I move into the world of home improvement.

Working with Kurt was great. His crew is excellent. All surfaces were thoroughly prepped, and colors were applied carefully and thoroughly. Kurt excels at handling detail - I needed specific treatments for specific features of the house, and he matched colors and paint types appropriately. The crew is really industrious - I was awed (and pleased!) at how much effort they put into scraping as part of the prep process. All details were taped and masked very carefully. I'm confident this paint job will last a long time (well beyond the 5 years Kurt already guarantees!); and it's no exaggeration to say that the cost of the paint job was recouped in increased market value of the house. Finally, it's worth mentioning that Kurt and his crew were really pleasant to work with the whole time.

The job went extremely well. I am very pleased with the work Home Transformations did. They were on time and got the work done as agreed and cleaned up when the work was done. I will be having them back to do some work on the outside of my house in the spring.

Kurt is very responsive, set up a walk through of my main floor, talked me through what his team would do, approximate length and sent me a quote immediately following our meeting. They kept me informed about how the work was progressing. Each day I would get an update and this crew finished a day ahead of schedule. They cleaned up after themselves and respected my work schedule and working around me. My home looks completely transformed. Kurt is a must hire. Don’t think twice. I am already planning to bring him back to paint my 2nd floor.

The company was the most professional of those we contacted. The owner has been in the business for decades and makes it a point to hire reliable, courteous employees. For us, they were the highest bid, but the sense of confidence I got from the communications and the 5-year guarantee made the decision easy.

Kurt's crew did a great job both prepping and painting our home. They cost a little more than other estimates but were worth it. Great clean up afterward also.

Home Transformations came to give us an estimate, and Kurt was very thorough in his inspection. He immediately saw that there was lead paint on the window frames, and explained how he knew it. Some wood replacement might have been needed, and he explained again how the work would be completed and why he would have to contract out for it. The cost he quoted us was higher than all but one of the six total we got, but when I talked to him about it, he explained in detail why other estimates would be much lower - shorter warranties, not having full insurance, not using primer, etc. After our discussion I felt confident that Home Transformations would do the job well the first time and that we wouldn't have to worry about redoing it in a couple years. The work itself took a few days, but the painters were completely professional throughout the process. They even helped me take our window A/C units out, an awkward job for one person from inside the house. Each day they cleaned up the work area, so well that you wouldn't have even known they'd been there. Overall, we're very pleased with the work! Highly recommended!

Kurt was very professional, attentive, thorough, paid attention to my requests, helped me make the best decisions and guided me away from repairs that were unnecessary. His workers were also very thorough and professional. I am extremely happy with the results and plan on hiring him again for future projects.

Exceded any expectations that we had!!

This was the second time we had Home Transformations paint our home. Above all else we realized we could trust their judgement regarding the work and the effort required for our 1911 home and the work and effort they actually put into it. It wasn't just a cursory scrape job and paint. Approximately half bare wood was exposed around the entire house after scraping was completed, followed by the entire home primed, then followed by two very well applied coats of exterior paint. Since the trim was white and the siding was gray it would be very noticeable if one color was errantly applied over the other, which certainly was not! Anyone that has an old home is well aware the extra care and time that is required. Seems the effort is at least double no matter what it is. The boards are over one hundred years old, and pretty easy to damage. And a lot of the wood needs to be special ordered when replaced. I did happen to already have a number of pieces of lap siding and 5/4" fir that was purchased a couple years ago to repair a rotted area around the window which they immediately identified and did a fantastic job of repairing. They made the repair just as I would have in a fraction of the time. Regarding neatness, no paint was where it didn't belong, not on the roof shingles, window glass, window screens, front or rear decks. We have a lot of plants and shrubs around the house, and even though we cut then back away from the house it probably was not really enough clearance and they did tie back the shrubs that were too close to the work area. And somehow didn't trample what we thought would get inadvertently damaged no matter how careful. They also manually washed down the gutter downspouts that wouldn't come clean after power washing so they wouldn't detract from the new paint job! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Home Transformations to anyone that is looking for someone they can completely trust in doing the job beyond their expectations! Chuck & Ann Latia

Excellent! We are very pleased! They did a wonderful job and left the property immaculate every day. We have extensive gardens and they a wonderful job of working around the plants to avoid damage. There were a few minor things we wanted addressed and they came the next day and surpassed our expectations. A simply excellent company.

Kurt is very responsive, timely, upfront, and pleasant to deal with. Crew was very professional and pleasant, worked hard, and seemed to take pride in what they did. Price was not the highest or the lowest bid, but seemed fair. Estimate was honest, with final bill being as estimates except appropriately adjusted for some specific additions and removals I requested. Quality of work was good and commensurate with the price. A few small things weren’t exactly as I wanted, but Kurt was attentive in fixing. They referred carpentry repairs to an independent carpenter and coordinated fairly well, although I wish I had outlined who was doing certain repairs that fell in the gray area (filler on some scratched siding) in advance.

Awesome job! The estimate was detailed and transparent. The crew was very professional and friendly. They were extremely thorough with every step from the scraping, to the clean up, to the painting. Home Transformation did a wonderful job painting the stucco on my house, my garage, and the trim on both house and garage. Professional, tidy, on-time, good communication. Would definitely work with Kurt and team again!

After having Kurt come out for a bid we decided to go with Home Transformations even though they were not the lowest bid because they provided a level of professionalism that we did not see with other competitors. They were able to paint four rooms, a stairwell, a hallway, five doors, and a large amount of trim over the course of two days while we were out of town. The quality of the work is visibly superior to similar trim that had been painted before we bought the house.

We were very happy with the service a quality of work provided by Home Transformations. Starting with the estimate, theirs was the most detailed and clear. Their warranty was also by far the best. The crew were all very professional and they all did very thorough, neat work. All work discussed was performed. Doing work on 100+ year old structures is never easy or predictable but they scraped, puttied, caulked etc. as needed to make sure the final results looked crisp and clean. The job included siding, soffits, window trim, storm windows and 4 front porches. The job looks great. We will definitely bring them back the next time we need painting on other parts of the building.
