HOM FURNITURE

Very nice to deal with. No pressure. Set us up with interest free financing for one year. Furniture was delivered close to the promised date. Furniture was delivered and set up in a timely fashion. No complaints.

I was quite surprised to find such a large selection of floor coverings at HOM Furniture. I was looking for carpet, and it was almost overwhelming with all the choices. They also provided samples of a variety of carpet pads. I was looking for a pad that was total foam (healthier choice) and not the rebond type. Unlike other stores, they offered this foam pad and had a sample for me to see. The carpet had to be ordered and I called after 2 weeks to setup a date for installation. Prior to their arrival I removed the old carpet and pad myself. The installers arrived in the 2-hour window given to me, and the install for a 12x12 room took only one hour. On my ratings above, I lowered the and quot;Priceand quot; rating from and quot;Aand quot; to and quot;Band quot; due to a couple factors. (1) I had to pay $50 upfront for the measurements. The $50 was refunded with my order. So, make sure you are buying the carpet from HOM before asking for a measurement. (2) I had to pay an extra amount ($90) as a labor square footage minimum charge, because my room was so small in size.

I was very happy with their sales people. They were ready to help but not pushy. Their delivery was scheduled a day ahead of time and the arrived right on time. And the delivery crew was polite and very attentive

We are very happy with the bed frame. The delivery guys were exactly on time and very friendly. However, the sales woman was rather difficult to deal with. On the plus side, she kept us updated on the order and pricing. But on the down side, she was borderline rude and generally crabby. My wife and I came by the store on a Saturday to see a couple of wood samples before ordering the bed. When we arrived, she was talking to another customer on the phone. After waiting 30 minutes, we asked another sales person if they could get the samples for us. When the sales person asked her where the samples were located, she snapped at her and told her to leave. So we continued to wait until she finally got off the phone. I know this was not her fault, but I felt she handled the situation poorly.

We went back to the store and they said they would check on it and they would call us back. We did not hear from them. Today I called again and the woman we talked to Monday night had me call somebody else in their service department. The person in the service department said the manufacturer sent the wrong couch and that she will order a new one, but this might take another 3 months. I'm feeling like I'm being given the run around and I don't know what the truth is.

We decided, out of the blue, to stop at the HOM Furniture store in Roseville and near the entrance of the leather section we saw exactly what we wanted. After sitting on every other piece of leather furniture, we came back to our original pieces. The salesperson was young but still very eager to help. He was able to order the furniture with extra nailing detail at no extra charge. With the cost of the furniture being as much as it was, we decided to also purchase the three year ''everything is covered'' insurance.
