Hoffman Weber Construction

Due to a severe hail storm, we had significant damage to our home. We contracted with Hoffman Weber to replace our roof, siding, gutters, windows and repair the decks. Our sales rep, Joe Wire, was extremely helpful working with us and the insurance company throughout the entire process. Joe responded promptly to our phone calls and address our questions and/or concerns when they arose. Overall, we had a great experience with Hoffman Weber and Joe, in particular, as the face of Hoffman Weber. We would highly recommend Hoffman Weber Construction to others.

The whole job was completed on time with top quality products and skilled labor. The customer service was highly efficient and professional! What impressed me most was there attention to detail, Quality Control Inspection at the end of the job and the prompt follow through with the minor touch ups noticed by the QA inspector. I have recommended HW to numerous friends and neighbors which communicated similar experiences. I will definitely use HW for any future work required on my home.

After the storm came through the Minneapolis, Minnesota I was worried about the immediate influx of contractors. I waited and waited, searched and searched until all of the "fly by storm" contractors had left the area. When the clouds parted and everyone was gone there was Joe with Hoffman Weber construction. I found them at the U.S. Bank home improvement show they had. From the beginning they were professional, honest and extremely flexible. Joe came out to my house, worked with my insurance let me know what needed to be done and what could wait. The crew was timely, professional and quick. They did my house and garage roofs (different buildings) in one day. They worked with my schedule and met up with me to go through the warranty. The project manager went around the house looking for any issues and any nail left behind. I have had other contractors say they were going to "come back and check on clean up" and never heard from them again. This company sees it through to the end. They took care of the permits and even called the city inspector. When the city inspector came to the house they told me that 80% of the houses getting storm damage repair were failing inspection. What was worse is that they could not longer get a hold of the contractors. Hoffman Weber was there from start to finish and ensured that they were just down the road if anything should come up. I will be working with them again in the future!

This is a very professional company. They performed all work in a timely fashion and all work was done to my and city inspection officials satisfaction.

We had the front of our house and garage done last year, wonderful! This year we had the other three sides of the house done with steel siding. Jason was very professional and helpful with both projects. He helped us with colors and was very honest with things we wanted done.Thank you! Tim and his siding crew were wonderful! Hoffman Weber did a great job replacing our roof. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning up our yard afterwards. Jason was great to work with and always was quite to respond and kept us updated. Would definitely recommend.

We were hit with a hail storm in June 2017. People were calling every day offering free estimates. I did not want an out of state contractor. Hoffman Weber are local and established in Minnesota. They responded immediately to take care of our roof. The roof was done so well that we hired them to side our house. Could not have been happier with the results. Our contractor was Ryan Youngren. He went over everything with us and gave us wonderful recommendations as to what siding was available. There was never any pressure. Always answered our calls if we had questions.

We chose Hoffman Weber to replace our roof for a couple of reasons: 1) They helped us with all of the issues associated with our project, which included replacement of the shingles, two flat roof areas, special flashing, coordination with the skylight supplier and some interior trim repair. 2) Their representative Joe Wire is both very personable and knowledgeable. As seniors, we appreciated someone who would follow through from start to finish, deal with the paperwork and keep us informed along the way. Choosing Hoffman Weber was the right choice for us and would recommend them to others needing roof repair or replacement.

From our first contact with Keyth Hendrickson the process of repairing our exterior from hail damage was great. Keyth explained what needed to be repaired, the process of making an Insurance claim. Keyth also worked with our Duplex neighbor to get all the work done simultaneously. Everyone in the company worked together and communicated with each other so whom ever I spoke with, they had answers! Thank you Corinna, Amanda, Kim, Dave, Jane, Nina, Ana, and James! The roofing and siding crews that came to do the actual work did great work, took care of ittle details that popped up, and cleaned everything up! All work was completed and passed final code inspection the first time! Wonderful!!

The service I received was exceptional--Ryan Youngren was professional, thorough, and informative. He followed up regularly and was easy to talk/work with. Although I chose another company to re-roof my home, I think his company would have done a fine job. (I got bids from 6 different companies and his was the highest price and I generally don't choose the highest nor the lowest bid) Ryan takes pride in his company and is a fine rep for them.

Everybody we dealt with was very professional and responsive.Keyth Hendricks our salesperson and designer was great and Brian Thole was great to work with as our Project Manager. The crew did a great job in a timely manor and cleaned up the job site very well. I highly recommend them.

The product and roof installation were excellent! We liked the entire process from working with the salesperson to the crew leaders. The price was competitive, and the work efficiently and carefully done. We liked the attention to detail, the clean-up and follow thru. Joe Wire, our salesperson, and Joe Hoffman, President, aimed to please in every way, and they definitely succeeded!

Hoffman Weber Construction did a great job in getting the work done. There were many homes with damage in the area, and many are still waiting. We were fortunate to have a Hoffman Weber Employee in our Neighborhood to take good care of us.

Keyth Hendrick was my project manager. He's great communicator. He was quick to burn out any fires that came up during the project or after the project. Keyth helped me held the insurance company and helped me find a electrician and a painter for the small projects. I would highly recommend Hoffman Weber if you are dealing with a construction project.

All the work was completed under the supervision of Brian Thole. Overall experience was very good, and work well done.

I reached out to Hoffman Weber early last year for an exterior remodel (windows/ door/ garage door/ landscaping/ deck). the person i mostly dealt with was Keith. He came out right away after my inquiry. I liked his personality, showed him the design the architect had done for us and clearly laid out my budget. He said that's definitely doable within that. At which point I gave him my initial deposit of 2500$. The following week he came back with a similar drawing as the architect and a budget that was double of what I had mentioned. Which is fine if his estimate was so off. I was annoyed but still wanted to finish work, so I started to pull away things to keep moving forward. So we came to agreement of a much smaller scope for an additional 20K from my prior scope and budget. And he took a 10% deposit from me. After a few months of that- he emails me and tells me they cant do the work, its not worth it for them. So I tell him that he made the budget, we agreed to the scope and I have lost 8 months of my time. If they are not willing to move forward, they should return my deposit and initial payment. To which he says I can return the deposit but not the initial payment. I couldn't understand what I paid him 2500$ for?? for wasting a year of my time, delaying my remodel or for redrawing plans I had already provided and didn't need! Also he refused to put me in touch with the management there. Either way, a more professional gentleman (maybe management) returned my emails and reached out to say he was sorry for Keith's inexperience and would return my money. Te budget was not accurate because Keith didn't have enough exterior work experience so had quoted things incorrectly which is why the company couldn't honor the estimate. Long story short, they did return my money. i appreciated them reaching out and owning up to their mistake but wished they would have helped finish the work they had agreed to so I didn't lose a year. I would not work with them again but if you went ahead with them I would not work with Keith for exterior work. Hope this helps someone the trouble and the company to get more professional.

Brian Thole was excellent to work with. Some of the insurance stuff can be confusing at times, but he went above and beyond to explain paperwork and made it easy for us.

We had our roof and siding done with Hoffman Weber and we couldn't be happier! We worked with Brian during the whole experience and he made sure it all went very smoothly. We had a very positive overall experience with Hoffman/Weber Construction. Joe Wire was our remodeling consultant/project manager and had good recommendations on our overall project (roofing, with siding to be done mid-summer). He showed us 3D renderings to help in our decision, worked with us on changes, kept us up to date prior to the start of the project, and was involved as the project continued to completion. The roofing was an insurance claim and correspondence worked well between Hoffman/Weber and our insurance company. The roofing crew adapted quickly to a need to add plywood to a portion of our roof, requiring additional supplies. They worked long days to get the job done and cleaned up the job.

I used Hoffman Weber to help with replacing my roof! We had bad wind and hail damage. Ryan Youngren came over, sat down with us and talked about our options! Ryan was so professional and super knowledgeable! Thank goodness because I knew nothing since this was our first time replacing a roof! Ryan made is super easy for me, I would recommend Hoffman Weber for sure!! Now I have a beautiful roof! Thanks!!

Ryan was amazing to work with - he worked around my hours to help me go through paperwork and pick siding and roofing. The roofing was able to be scheduled around my house warming party. They have been excellent at communication and have been very responsive. I also appreciate Ryan really taking the lead to work with my insurance.
