Description of Work: They provided a consultation about a possible kitchen remodel project. It went well. I felt I received the information I needed to make the decision that needed to be made going forward. They did not perform the work but I wouldn't hesitate to use them.

Description of Work: They did almost nothing. The guy came out, and it turned out that we paid money for what was essentially a sales call. Not impressed!

Description of Work: This was an Angie's List offer...$25 for $250 (approx.) of design consultation on some kitchen work I want to do. The person who came was very nice and we had a nice conversation but he was not a designer, did not have much to offer in ideas, which is what I was after. He had been a builder and told me he used a designer to make all those decisions. So, he gave me a little information but I'm glad I did not pay more than $25.

Description of Work: Hoffman Weber stuck with me through the insurance arbitration and provided excellent representation all the way to the final settlement. They had a little trouble scheduling their appraiser, but ultimately it all worked out. Their advice and support went way beyond what I expected.

Description of Work: Inspected attic for insulation needs and cause of spots on kitchen ceiling. Spent time outlining options to correct problem. |*** Lower rating on punctuality was due to being late for appointment. The staff person did call and give me an update on traffic jam which was appreciated!

Description of Work: I am rating just the thermal imaging and ice dam "diagnosis" we have rec'd so far from HW Construction. We felt Scott was very professional in his inspection of our attic and trouble areas. We were impressed with the thermal photo imaging. Without telling Scott where we had had the ice dam problems, the camera captured the area precisely. HW Construction will be adding insulation to our attic and injecting foam insulation to the wall where heat is escaping. They did not try to sell us additional services beyond those related to the thermal imaging.

Description of Work: We hired Hoffman Weber after getting some hail damage to our home last August. There was quite a bit of work to coordinate (roof, screens, gutters, window wraps) plus working with the insurance company. The work spanned several weeks. Hoffman Weber handled it wonderfully. We always felt like they were on our side. Nick checked in with us at least weekly by phone and in person through most of the process. The quality of the work done was high. The few issues we had were dealt with quickly and professionally. Their expertise in dealing with insurance claims was invaluable. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: We signed up for a $25 basement refinishing design deal. The person who came said he didnt think our basement could be refinished but that hed get back to us. it took several weeks and a few phone calls to the company before we heard back from them definitively. luckily they agreed to refund our money but it would have been nice if they had been more responsive.

Description of Work: We had a bit of juggling going on with scheduling but the service itself was well performed. John did not deem our home needed any additional insulation at this time but walked us through several other money saving measures we could implement to lower our heating/cooling bills. I appreciate his honesty and helpfulness even though we did not end up purchasing any additional services from them at this time.

Description of Work: Isolation was not a wise choice for me due to my ceilings. My ice dams may be due to my shallow roof and trees that block the snow and sun. May need a heat mat or coils.
