Keith was very helpful and responsive when we were looking for a contractor for our siding and roofing project. We weren't able to hire him as we did not need any general contractor service, but we would consider hiring them for a future project.

I interviewed 5 different construction companies for our full house residing job. Our house is over 5000sq ft so I wanted to do my research before spending a large amount of money because I didn't want to be one of the horror stories we hear about construction companies or seen on HGTV. We met with Jason and he answered all my questions and concerns and gave me a very detailed bid so I knew exactly what I was paying for. Other companies did not give me a detailed bid and one only gave me a project amount on a ripped off piece of notebook paper and it was a huge company in the twin cities. Jason did an excellent job going over the bid and process with us. He made sure there was no misunderstandings so we were clearly on the same page. We began the project and I started working with Tim the project manager and he was also a great guy to work with. I'm not the easiest person to work with and both guys were respectful, professional, and over the top with customer service. They both take their jobs seriously and care about the outcome and it shows. I read every review online about Hoffman Weber and felt fully aware of any concerns to be expected. My house is completed and I can honestly say I would not have changed anything. We stayed within budget, my house looks amazing, and the company overall did a great job. We will need a new roof within a few years and I will contact Hoffman Weber without a doubt to do the job because I trust them and know they will do it right.

We purchased an older home, built in 1921, in the Summit Hill neighborhood of Saint Paul. It was in terrible condition -- a "fixer upper." It was the ugly duckling on the block. It was in bad need of new siding and windows throughout. We knew about Hoffman Weber (HW) and Jason Iwig from previous dealings at our old house in Bloomington. Those dealings resulted in a separate five-star review on Angie's List. So, when HW's estimate for windows and siding came back in the same ballpark as a couple of other very reputable companies, we immediately retained HW as our contractor. Jason met with us immediately after we committed to the project. He's extremely knowledgeable when it comes not only to the various siding products available but especially with respect to customizing design and aesthetic, with great attention to details like jut-outs, standard siding for lower and shake siding for upper, and decorative corbels etc. He was also able to provide several financing options from cash to a ten-year loan with relatively good rates. He was able to approve us on the spot. Jason then handed the project management over to Tim, who served as the foreman of the project by making regular visits and ensuring the crew had more than enough material on site to get the job done. Like Jason, Tim is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and professional. He was always available to answer questions or address concerns, and always in a satisfactory (reasonable) manner. I'm sure all HW installers are great, but we feel we got particularly lucky with our installer crew, led by Boris. He was meticulous with his attention to detail, right down to the replacement of cable tv cords along the house. Everything had to be perfect with this guy. Yes, this meant a somewhat slower completion time, but I'll take slightly slow and meticulous over fast and sloppy any day. HW is the party that ultimately pays for this process, but it doesn't seem to bother them because our satisfaction always seemed of primary concern for them. Our 1921 house at 1116 Saint Clair Ave was an outlier in the neighborhood when we moved in, for all the wrong reasons. Now it's an outlier for all the right reasons. With Jason's help and artistic flair, we decided to use Hardie siding in the color Countrylane Red, with Arctic White trim. But we chose Birch Bark for the shake siding up on top, with a jut-out supported by corbels. We're happy. Our new neighbors are ecstatic. And passersby on Saint Clair stop to tell us how impressed they are. We really couldn't be happier with the job Hoffman Weber did for us, and we very sincerely hope those who read this review consider them for their project. Thanks.

Hoffman Weber resided our house in August, 2019 and we are very pleased with the outcome. Joe Wire was our sales contact who patiently worked with us as we made decisions during the planning stage. Joe is thoroughly professional, friendly, extremely detailed (you will know exactly what you owe before the final bill comes) and is a good listener. Joe and the office crew kept us apprised of materials delivery and dumpster install and removal. John did the installation. I was a little surprised to have a lone installer complete the entire job, but John did a great job. His workmanship is outstanding and any little thing I mentioned, he took care of. The property was totally cleaned up before he left and he finished the job within the original estimated time. Ryan was incredibly thorough in explaining the steps he would take during the inspection. I had many questions about ice dams and he patiently explained the cause, even drawing a picture of the most common causes. Very professional. Acted as if I were his only appointment. I look forward to meeting with Ryan to discuss our project further.

Ryan Youngren came out to do our inspection for storm damage. He did a thorough job of inspecting our house and then afterwards took the time to clearly explain how the whole project would progress - from insurance inspection all the way through project completion. Very impressed with his knowledge and clear answers to every question my wife and I hit him with.

I would highly recommend Hoffman Weber for your siding project. Keyth was a huge help in the designing and planning of our project. He made sure we were informed on the products available and didn't push us towards or try to sell us on anything we didn't want. It was important to him that we were happy and comfortable with our investment. The entire process was straightforward and relaxed while still remaining professional and detail oriented. Additionally, out of four total quotes for our project, Hoffman Weber was the most competitive. The Project Manager, Brian, was a huge help and available whenever needed, the office team was friendly, and the installation crew was hardworking and polite. If we ever need other construction or remodel services I will call Hoffman Weber first.

Keyth was extremely professional at all times and arrived exactly on schedule. He was honest with my roof inspection noting no damage was detected, which reassured me that he was not out to take advantage of insurance companies as dishonest "storm chasers" frequently do. Keyth kept an open communication with me, and updated his whereabouts prior to arriving, and arrived on time as promised which was refreshing. I am so glad I found Hoffman Weber for my project. I researched and shopped a long time for a company that would care for the character of my 130 year old home. I got just that. Keyth our sales contact heard my needs and designed a product that perfectly addressed everything I asked for and more. Tim the project manger took care of everything during the work and stayed in contact with me every step of the way. Mike and the siding install team were extraordinary. I think they took joy in seeing and protecting the history revealed under the siding as much as I did. I plan to hire Hoffman Weber again for future projects.

Hoffman Weber's Ryan Youngren was not a high pressure salesman, listening to what our ideal roofing goal was, then presenting many options coherently and providing examples of the considered options. Ryan made development of the contract smooth, covering several important points we had not thought about such as chimney flashing. The Hoffman Weber team involved in removing the old roofing were polite and efficient, daily cleaned up after themselves. During the install of the new roof, they again worked efficiently and daily cleaned up after themselves. The metal roofing they installed looks magnificent, and several neighbors have been very complimentary. Hoffman Weber's Tim has responded to many of our few concerns and questions in a timely fashion.

We stopped at the Hoffman Weber exhibit at the State Fair last year. We liked how nice and no-pressure everyone was. The beginning of September we met with Ryan Youngren from Hoffman Weber to take a look at our roof and gutters. He was knowledgeable about the products and what made sense for our house as well as their company philosophy. We decided to replace the roof, soffit and fascia, and gutters. He told us when the job was finished we would be happy with the results - customer satisfaction was very important to them. Shortly after our meeting we were contacted by Brian Thole, our project manager. He gave us a timeline for when the materials would start to arrive and when to expect the workers. He was friendly and reassured us that his goal was to for us to be happy customers when the work was completed. The roofing materials showed up promptly on October 1st as promised and the roofers the next day. Our brand new roof was done in one day! Brian came out to check on the workers and then to inspect the finished job. He asked if we had questions, which he answered, and if we were satisfied with the roof, which we were. Then things got a little dicey. The soffit and fascia arrived on October 3rd, as scheduled, and the two workers a few days later. We started to notice things that seemed off. The guys were working different ends of the house which ended up not matching. Also, these guys were subcontractors from down south and didn’t do things “Minnesota winter” style. Brian said he’d take care of it. The weather turned making it hard to work so now the timeline was stretching out further. Weather can’t be controlled but we were behind because of work having to be redone. HOWEVER, Hoffman Weber was true to their word. Brian worked with the guys until the job was done right, even chipping in to do some of the work and doing the finishing touches himself showing us he was committed to getting the job done right. He was at our house almost as much as we were, making sure we were satisfied! Even though he was managing other jobs, he was always patient, understanding, and generous with his time.. Once the soffit and fascia was done, the gutters and the gutter guys showed up, again on time. They attached our beautiful new gutters in a day. One more tweak to a downspout the next day and our gutters were done. Ryan came back on November 2nd, inspected the work, listened to our experiences - the good, bad and ugly - and made sure before he left that we felt good about the work. He gave us a nicely bound book with all our warranties. We were happy with the work and all the staff involved. They were great to deal with. All of the work, including the wintery weather and the extra time spent on the soffit and fascia, took one month to complete. We chose to write this review in the spring in order to see how our project wintered. Our roof looks great despite a terrible ice dam season, and hearing those new gutters flowing once the snow and ice started to melt was like music to our ears. We now get to go into summer with our house looking like new. Thank you, Hoffman Weber, for a great experience. Thank you, Ryan, for your expertise in pointing us in the right direction and especially, Brian, for being a wonderful problem solver and keeping things on track. We really enjoyed having Hoffman Weber as our contractor for our remodeling project. Our project included roofing, siding, soffit, fascia and windows. We were fortunate to have Jason Iwig as our salesman and John Weber as our project manager. Both Jason and John really focused on the finite details of the job to ensure the results would satisfy the expectations of the job. Jason assisted up front with concept, design, and selection from the premium products Hoffman Weber offers. Jason utilized 3D cad software to assist with the visualization of the concept which really helped us gain confidence in our decisions. As the project was underway John did an excellent job with coordinating the permits, materials, and trades and ensuring everything got completed on time and to expectations. The technicians working on our house were very mindful of keeping the work area clean every day. Their craftsmanship was second to none and couldn’t be happier with the results. Hoffman Weber’s staff onsite and back in the office were patient, courteous, and helpful along the way. I have just had my final meeting with Joe Wire, who sold me on using Hoffman Weber. My siding project was finished a couple weeks ago. I had a great experience with this company from beginning to end. They explained everything, answered questions and helped solve every issue. My house was built in 1928 so it needed a new facelift. I chose the James Hardie product for it’s high quality and for the finished look. Joe explained the choices of products but I chose the James Hardie. It is worth every penny to end up with such a maintenance free, great looking house. I also had them do a new seamless membrane flat roof on my three-season porch. Bryan, my project manager, was available all through the project to answer any questions and keep me updated on the project. He was so thorough and stopped by multiple times to check on everything. Boris, my installer, is an artist! He worked 6 days a week with his brother, installing all the siding and trim. Everything is done to perfection. He really does quality work and takes his time making sure everything is perfect. The roofers did my porch roof so I will never have to worry about a leaky roof. They stayed extra late to make sure they got it done before a snow storm hit the following day. I couldn’t be happier with my “new” house. I highly recommend Hoffman and Weber. They are so easy to work with, friendly, knowledgeable, problem solvers and I know they really cared about my project from beginning to end. It was a pleasure to work with Joe, Bryan, Boris and his brother. Thank you for all the expert work. I have already had lots of compliments on my house.

The project did not get started on the date we were told and there were delays throughout. It took over three months to get the new windows installed and the trim work completed. There was a definite language barrier between the roofers/siders and the homeowner. Even though it was very hard to communicate with the workers, they were very nice, prompt, they acted professionally and they could always direct you to their foreman. When the project was completed, it turned out very good. Justin did a remarkable job. Sunnie was always there to take our calls and was prompt on getting back to us with answers. This is the second time that HWC has done storm damage repair on our home.. They did a great job through out the whole process of home repair. Each person that we had contact with was very professional and responsive to our questions. They did a wonderful job keeping us posted during weather delays.
