Description of Work: They had to load our whole house up one day, hold it in the truck overnight, and unload us the next day after we closed on two houses. They were great from the first phone call/estimate all the way to the end of the unloading. They were a great crew - moving is very stressful but they were so fun to work with for two days. They made it much easier and less stressful and they were so professional throughout. I would recommend them in a heartbeat! They took very good care of all of our belongings, and took care to protect the old house and the new house (door frames, floors, railings, carpet). Every other company we received estimates from said we needed two trucks (which adds to the cost) but Hedberg assured us we only needed one truck. I thought they were nuts but they fit it all in, with room to spare. I tried to get them to stay and help unpack because they were so funny and nice but they had to go. :). Full service movers - my friends and family couldn't believe they would actually disassemble and reassemble the furniture for that price but they did! And they came in under the quoted price, which was an added bonus. Great job!!!

Description of Work: Hedberg provided boxes and moving services in the northern suburbs. We decided to pack ourselves although they provide that service at additional cost. This is a family owned business. The estimate process is quick and easy. I should also mention everyone I spoke with at their office was extremely helpful. The employees are polite, professional, and hard working. We happened to move shortly after several inches of snow. The crew asked to add another worker to make sure they got the job done. I approved that action. The owner, Branden, stopped by to make sure the team didn't need anything and that I was pleased with the progress. He then went and plowed off the driveway of our new home. The team finished early and even with the extra worker, under the estimate. They provided a reasonable timeline to have the boxes unpacked and returned. The deposit placed for the boxes was swiftly refunded. There are somewhat cheaper providers in the area but for the service provided, Hedberg is a great value. A tip to members reading this review, Hedberg has quality moving supplies available for sale. I highly recommend discussing those with them. We unfortunately purchased mattress covers from u-haul. Although the movers were careful with it, the cover was so cheap it ripped and our mattress pad was dirty.

Description of Work: The movers' names were Marcus and Royce. They work for Hedberg Moving Solutions. They both were very punctual and professional. Not sure of the cost of service but I do know the cost was very reasonable. They were very quick and efficient and took great care in moving our furniture from an apartment into a storage unit. Nothing was damaged. All went great. We will definitely request these two movers in the future. I am sure that all the movers at Hedberg Moving Solutions are the best in the moving business. Great company! Will definitely use Hedberg Moving Solutions in the future. Highly recommend these guys! The Absolute Best!

Description of Work: The crew moved me from my house to the new condo, but when I was still at the house they came with boxes for me to use. It was seamless, they even picked up all the empty boxes after I was done with them, they were on time to the minute, very efficient and totally professional. I hate moving, but if I have to again and it is in the area I will use them in a heartbeat; I have recommended them to friends also.

Description of Work: They moved our 3200 sq ft household from Prior Lake to Inver Grove Heights, including a piano. The crew that moved us took fantastic care of our belongings and carefully protected both our old house and our new one. They were very professional, efficient, and friendly (without being too talkative!). Cost came in at almost exactly what was quoted, and even my "dumb question" emails on the weekend were responded to very quickly (45 minutes, if I remember correctly!). | |I'd unquestionably recommend them to family and friends - in fact, my parents assisted with our move and said they'll be using them when they decide to move! I would personally use them again, though I hope to not move again for a while. :) | |Be confident your things will be cared for and expect utmost professionalism throughout the entire process.  + -1 moreI had initially intended to use a different mover from Angie's list for a two part interstate move, but when that mover unexpectedly terminated our verbal contract instead of answering basic questions I had (Insurance? How do you calculate your rates? Why are you doubling your first estimate when you received a detailed list of exactly the same items we discussed?), I called Hedberg Moving Solutions and connected with Brendan Hedberg. He took the time to answer all of my questions and put my concerns to rest. His answers were clear and to the point. He explained how he calculated a bid and offered options, such as storage, should it be needed. There were no surprises. There were no worries. The crew (Nick & Rick) worked a long 12 hour day, yet were happy to work and make sure the moving process was as trouble free and pleasant as it could be for me. Their attitudes let me know that they were working for a great company. The move was a one day move from NE Minnesota to Minneapolis. No problems. Branden proved he makes the effort to go above and beyond to make a big move as pleasant and predictable as it can possible be. He is knowledgeable about the moving process and acts proactively to head off possible issues before they become a problem. My possessions survived without a dent or a scratch. Not a single piece of heirloom china broken. And even though I had hundreds of books in this load, everyone was happy to do the work! A definite top referral for anyone that needs a mover! Description of Work: When I first called Hedberg Moving even offered me a free on-site estimate working around my schedule! When Branden came out he was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and believe me I had a lot. After this they even offered me free boxes to use for my move, this was super convenient because I didn't have to hunt any down and they even delivered them out to me with paper and tape I didn't have to lift a finger! On move day the whole crew came dressed neatly in uniform and on time which I loved! They made moving looking easy, they were polite and professional all day long! They took great care of my stuff like it was there own even padding and protecting all my floors and furniture. I was kept updated throughout the whole and at the end of the day the move cost me under what was estimated which was yet another nice surprise and after unpacking I had no damage!

They wrapped all the furniture before loading, and placed it exactly where we wanted in the new house--even re-placing a few things. Brandon came to the house to do the estimate, and the bill was slightly under his figure. Everyone we dealt with was personable and helpful.

 + -1 moreWalter and Jason arrived on time and loaded and unloaded within the minimum time. The guys were very professional, neat and polite. They moved a heavy couch across the room to make for a better positing of the TV. They laid down runners so as not to dirty the carpet. I recommend this company highly.

We called two other moving companies and they would only give you a quote over the phone and they wouldn't actually look at your staff. I think they are 400 dollars under their quote because they kinda gave us some pointers on how we could make things more efficient and save ourselves some money.

They were on time, diligent and treated our home and possessions like fine china. All of our furniture and wall hangings that wouldn't fit in boxes were carefully wrapped. I didn't need to worry if anything would be scratched or damaged with this crew. This company takes great pride in the work they perform. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company.

 + -1 moreIt went great. The guys didn't mess around. They were very considerate and careful not to bang things around. They cared about what they were doing and you could tell. They showed up on time, and worked until the job was complete.
Description of Work: Moved us into our new home. We had 3 guys, Rick, DJ, and Chris. These guys worked so hard, and they did a great job. They loaded our storage and took it to the new house, then loaded our current residence and moved it. It was a big job, and billed by the hour, instead of a weight quote, or online estimate. Brandon came to the current residence and the storage to give us a quote. He was great to work with, and I could tell he cared about his business and he took care of his clients. I was right.I would recommend them to anyone!
