It went great! They arrived when they said they were going to and completed the job under their estimated time/price. I was very impressed when during the initial walk-through on the day of the move before heading back upstairs to begin the move the guys were already grabbing boxes from the basement to save "a trip" later. They were very patient and always respectful. My husband and I changed our minds a couple of times about where we wanted some heavy furniture and they moved it without any complaints.

Since we needed to store our belongings, I looked more closely at different movers before making a decision. After looking at 4 movers, I decided to go with Hedberg. They were great from the beginning to the end....from the estimate, scheduling, the move out and the move in. The movers were very good. They inventoried everything, took care protecting and moving everything out. It is a weird feeling seeing your stuff drive away in 2 trucks and trusting they will take care of everything. Three weeks later they moved us into our new house. The experience was very good. The reason I chose Hedberg was they made me feel the most comfortable that it would be done properly and everything would be taken care of. In the end, that was how it worked out.

They moved quickly, but with care. They needed each time due to two large items, but they continued to move as quickly as possible as not to over the estimated time. Everything was done in a timely manner and with great care.

The move went very well. They took care to protect the wall surfaces of our homes and accomplished the move within the moving budget. We would recommend them to anyone making a move from one place to another. The movers were very experienced and took excellent care of our furniture.

Hedberg Moving was fabulous! This move was a complicated, two-stage move as my fiancé and I combined households and moved into a new home. It could not have gone more smoothly. For both moves, the teams showed up on time and worked efficiently but with great care. I have moved a number of times and have worked with three different national moving companies. Hedberg outdid all three, in terms of professionalism, careful packing, efficiency, and price. When I first got the bid, I thought it was a tad high (one of the moves was estimated based on photos), and sure enough, the move came in under the estimate. Everything was packed carefully -- some of our furniture was fragile, and we had a LOT of glassware -- and absolutely nothing broke, chipped, or was damaged in any way. Moving some of the larger items was complicated, but Brandon and Terry had both the experience and the patience to figure it out. I came away impressed: clearly the moving teams work well together and support one another; there was a real effort both to work hard and to keep a sense of humor; and the whole process demonstrated real integrity from beginning to end. By temperament, I am meticulous and have high standards. Hedberg more than exceeded them. I have never had a less stressful moving experience! I cannot thank them enough.

The move into our temporary housing went well. The moving team was professional and courteous and seemed to take great care with our items. However, when we received our items back from storage there was damage to quite a few of our pieces and they lost some smaller items. It was very frustrating and we had to go back and forth with them several times in order to get things repaired and straightened out. They paid us for what we needed done, but it was a huge hassle and very disappointing. We could tell that our furniture was not stored properly and there were knicks, scratches and gouges in our wood furniture. When they came to pick up our dining room chairs to bring them to be repaired, it was the owner's son and he threw the chairs into the trunk of his truck without wrapping them or protecting them in any way. The chairs were damaged even further.

I was very pleased with Hedberg Moving Solutions right from the first time that I talked to them on the phone. The young men who did the moving were professional, careful, and very friendly. They wrapped all the furniture before loading, and placed it exactly where we wanted in the new house--even re-placing a few things. Brandon was great to work with, he has a GREAT company,everyone I dealt with was personable and helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They will be the first ones we will call the next time either I or anyone in the family needs things moved. I had decided to buy a larger home in South Mpls -Tangletown-and move out of an almost-bursting 3 bedroom home. I shopped around, looked at reviews online and decided to call Hedberg for a quote. The owner Brandon came out to do an estimate due to the number of items in my home (pictures, art, breakables, etc). He quoted me, I booked the moving date about a month out and that was it. The plan was to pack over 3 days and move on the 4th. Walter was the on-site guy in charge and managed everything to a "t" and kept me informed along the way. The plan totally worked (with some spillover of moving on day 5). But the highlight of the move were the people- both packers and movers! Professional, hardworking, over the top courteous, and frankly, a pleasure to have in the house and in charge of moving my wordy possessions. The total job came under the estimate so I was pleased on that level as well. But all in all, it made a potentially stressful situation a very manageable and organized one. All my interactions with Hedberg's staff were excellent. I got an on-site estimate, and Branden was thorough and explained exactly what to expect. I stopped by their office in Blaine to pick up free boxes plus tape and paper, and the office staff helped me load everything into my car. I like the fact that the boxes are free and that I can give them back (saving me the headache of breaking them down for recycling). The day of the move, the three-man crew arrived promptly, worked quickly and efficiently, and were very, very courteous throughout. They would ask along the way if everything was going to my liking, and if I was satisfied with the service. Marcus, David, and Laroyce took care with my possessions, got some unwieldy furniture up a tight staircase in a older Victorian home, and were generally so pleasant and friendly throughout. They even tightened some chair legs that had been loose, and the whole move clocked in under the estimated time, which was great. Moving is generally unpleasant and stressful from beginning to end, and working with Hedberg really minimized the pain. There might be cheaper options out there, but these folks know what they're doing, and they did a great job.

I have used other movers in the past and was surprised at how much in quality services I had been missing. I used them to move heavy fragile antique furniture with a lot of glass. They were very careful and thoroughly protected the furniture before they even started to move the furniture out of the house. There were no issues. I will definately be using this company again in the future.

They did a great job handling all of our furniture and moving it into the garage and then back again after we had carpet removed on one level of our home and had hardwood floors installed. We have very heavy furniture and I was extremely nervous about our walls and new wood floors being damaged during the move. They were so respectful and careful with everything. I interviewed other moving companies, but Hedberg was the best.

Hedberg Moving Solution moved our complete household. They were extremely easy to deal with and provided us with useful tips and ideas. They arrived promptly and delivered on time. Their crew was courteous and went out of their way to assist us in moving all of the furniture to the correct locations. They took as much time as they needed to help us get situated. Their estimate was based on weight and they called us as soon as the loaded truck was weighed. The estimated weight was a few hundred pounds greater than what was on the original cost estimate but they billed us according to the original estimate. All of our belongings arrived in fine shape. We had grandfather clocks as well as several antique furniture pieces. The only casualty was a pole lamp which was broken. They settled the cost of the damaged item on the spot and deducted it from the cost of the move. My wife and I could not be more pleased with this company. It is refreshing to deal with an orginization that exceeds expectations. We highly recommend this company.

Very professional - organized - thorough- final price within reasonable amount of estimate - would use again for any type of move

I thought they did a great job. Very respectful of our situation and very careful with her things; some of it very fragile (not one item was damaged). They definitely moved us efficiently but I never got the feeling that they were rushing or acting hastily. Very friendly and eager to accommodate.

When the packing crew arrived they each introduced themselves and remembered my name when they had a question. The crew was very professional, communicated well and were very personable. When the moving crew arrived two days later, all new people, they were as professional, communicative and personable as the packing crew. I was very impressed with their attitude and work ethic. I found them very considerate to both homes, protecting trimmed surfaces, covering the floors with mats and carpet protector. Hedberg offers a few ways to save money. I moved our two TV's which saved $300 and returned the empty boxes, rather than having them pick them up, which saved another $75. To cut down on packing time I would probably move the artwork myself. Hedberg goes through great lengths, and rightly so, to protect the art from damage which consumes a lot of time.

We had a 4-person team come out and move us from one house on July 31st and into our new house on August 2nd. Each of the movers was professional, courteous and worked in a timely fashion. Our belonging were stored for two days between houses and everything came back just as it was taken. Before the move, a team member came out and gave us a price quote. His estimate was right on the mark. The men who moved us arrived on time the day of move-out and move-in. They were very gracious and friendly and most certainly respectful of our property. They made sure that all the furniture was situated just as we wanted and that boxes were in the places as requested for ease of unpacking. I would highly recommend this moving company. A professional package all the way around. Would definitely use again.

An Excellent experience. Brandon and the rest of the staff returned calls promptly, came out and gave a realistic estimate and made several good cost-saving suggestions. They dropped off boxes including picture/mirror boxes (for a small fee to cover their delivery costs) and offered packing services (that we did not use but good to know that this was an option). The move itself was remarkably smooth. The crew of three couldn't have been more pleasant, professional and speedy at both ends of the move. We were able to leave clothes hanging in closets that were hung by them in a wardrobe box and then hung up in the new closets! We returned the boxes after the move so there was no charge for the boxes (unusual according to others we know who have moved recently). We wouldn't hesitate to encourage others to use this company. They made the move itself easier than we ever dreamed possible..

The people we dealt with from Hedberg were very personable and helpful. We were attempting to do all of our own packing but were not sure if we would make it by our move date. We requested an estimate with and without packers. We explained our goal was to get everything packed ourselves but it was a lot more than we realized as we went along. Hedberg checked with us prior to our move a couple of times to see if we needed help packing and assured us that if we needed help, they would send out their people. Sure enough, the evening of the day before the move, Branden (the owner) called to see if we needed help. We said yes that we probably won't make it. He said I will send out someone at 8 am the next day. Walt showed up and then Mike came and helped to finish boxing up everything. Hedberg answered all our questions/concerns before, during and after the move. This moving crew arrived on moving day early, eager and ready to go. Start time was 8 am. They went over all the details before beginning and walked us through the plan. They got right to work loading the truck. They were a very happy fun crew who enjoyed their work. They joked with each other, and with us which created a relaxed environment during the busy day. All four guys were very respectful of our items and addressed all issues related to the moving process. When we arrived at our new residence, they made sure they placed all of the furniture in the correct rooms and in the places we desired. They would ask if it wasn't clear where boxes or items should be located. This crew completed the move by 2 pm which included a very short lunch break (maybe a half hour). It was amazing for us to see a whole house full of boxes and furniture get loaded up, brought to the new place and unloaded and placed properly in that time frame. This team worked together very efficiently with ease. Working with Hedberg enabled our move to be comfortable and smooth. They were very thorough and covered all the necessary steps. The final cost came in way under the estimate given to us prior to the move. When Mike came and picked up our boxes a couple of weeks after the move, he said to give us a call anytime we needed anything to move. He said he lived in the area and a couple of the others did, so it would be no problem for them to move something for us. Walt also told us a month prior to the move that if we needed boxes, just give him a call the night before and he could drop them off in the morning on his way to work. We found all of them to be very personable. Whenever I called their office, Brianna was always helpful and kind. I would hire them again for moving.

Nathen and his crew were great, They arrived on time and were very fast and quick in getting all the stuff moved to the truck. They were very detailed and also careful with all the furniture. I would highly recommend using them.

The crew was outstanding!!! On time and very friendly. They were VERY careful with my belongings and didn't scratch anything. We had just painted and carpeted the interior of the house, and they didn't leave one stain or mark. Given how particular we are, we were very appreciative. Moving in subzero temps into an old home with sharp corners was a challenge, but they never complained. They were a dream team! I would most definitely use Hedberg again!!! If you are looking for movers, feel confident in choosing Hedberg.

Generally was very good, a few items did not get moved that I wanted but they were small and easily missed as much was being left behind for further evaluation. The one bedroom apartment was not large enough for everything, so the larger items of furniture were the primary concern, along with kitchen and bath drawers, clothing and personal items. Most of what is left will be donated or junked, with just a few things going later to the new apartment. Movers were hard-working and friendly, Overall, I'm very happy as I have a medical condition which prevents me from taking an active part, and the movers accepted that without complaint. Very courteous young men.

Hedberg's was able to offer me a date in a few days which worked really well for us. They showed up on time and ready to work. No complaining at all. They came in to my house and worked really hard to get us moved. They constantly came to me with updates. How they were doing, and where in the house they were moving items next. They informed us when they took lunch, arrived back to work. They were truly amazing. I had three previous horrible experiences prior to finding Hedberg's moving solutions. The name truly fits their business. Professional, polite, hard working, with no complaining. I couldn't say enough compliments for this business. I will say if we ever need to move again I will contact them first without any hesitation.Their cost for our move was extremely reasonable and they did a super job packing everything up like if those items were their own. I could see the pride they showed working for Hedberg's. I heard they were long tterm employees, and it's a great family business that you can tell they're happy who they work for and how well their treated. Brian is still very hands-on and available for his staff should they have any questions. Like I said my items were handle as if they belonged to them.
