Tim installed new maple flooring in a room adjoining my kitchen. He toothed the new flooring into the original wood floor in the kitchen, replaced some damaged boards around the refrigerator, then refinished all the wood flooring in kitchen and dining/living room. The new flooring blends beautifully with the original flooring and I am thrilled with the end result! My floors look amazing! Pricing was very fair, communication with him was always timely, and any minor issues were attended to without question. Highly recommend Tim! You will not be disappointed!

On schedule, on budget, and looks amazing. Tim did original work for previous owner and he was the perfect choice to come back. I will recommend him for all things hardwood flooring.

I called several companies that specialize in refinishing hardwood floors, and Tim was one of only two that called me back. He told me up front that the floor in the office (which is a different wood than the floors in the living and dining rooms) possibly would not survive the sanding, and asked if I had a "Plan B." As it turned out, he was able to refinish the office floor, and the end result is beautiful! The heating system in this house has been updated, and that meant there were large holes in the floors where heat vents had been removed (including one in the middle of the dining room floor). Tim had to find wood that matched and cut it down to fit, and now I cannot even tell where the repairs were made because he did such an amazing job! These 117-year-old floors turned out so much better than I hoped, and I'm getting lots of compliments! Tim is a true professional - he very patiently answered all of my questions, kept me informed of the timing of the job, arrived on time every day, totally respected my house, and advised me of the drying time (so I could stay in the house while the work was being done) and how long to wait before moving furniture back in and putting down rugs. There was minimal dust during the entire process. I could not be more pleased, and I highly recommend Tim for any hardwood floor project!

Tim was recommended by a close friend. The floor looks beautiful - better than I could have imagined. The refinished floors from 1960 match seamlessly with the brand new ones installed. I was not sure what to expect, though - the fumes were very strong. I wish I had known how bad it would be in advance so I could have had a better plan. At the last minute, we had to find a place to sleep for 3 nights while the poly was being put on. I should have researched what to expect and the questions to ask in advance before seeking quotes/hiring, but I also wished Tim had walked us through what would be happening a bit more. All in all we are happy - and would hire Tim again!

Tim refinished the oak floor in a small bedroom. Many contractors won’t be bothered with jobs this small. Tim gave it the same care and attention to detail that he would for a 5,000 square foot project. He was punctual, courteous and very considerate of us of our home. He responded promptly to phone calls and emails. The work itself was done completely to our satisfaction. I would recommend Tim Meyer without reservation.

I left a message about the job that I wanted to hire someone to do. Tim called me back right away and scheduled an appointment within 3 business days of my call. He showed up on time and gave me a quote within 1 day of his visit to my home. I didn't hire him because he was slightly higher in price (not the only criteria I consider) and I knew the other business that gave me a competitive quote would also do a good job.

Tim did a great job weaving the new hardwood floor into the old. Very pleased with the result. He was prompt and efficient. Great work all around. I would definitely call Tim again.

Tim did perfectly what five other contractors said would be impossible or very hard to do. We had removed a wall and there was a trench in the hardwood floor which needed to be patched. The problem came when one side of the trench was just slightly higher than the other side. Tim was able to remove planks in a small area and sand down the subfloor to make it level where other contractors either had to do a much larger area or suggested replacing the entire floor. We were very pleased with the end result.

It went flawlessly, and the floor looks great! He worked efficiently, yet carefully--no drips or flaws in the finish.

Mike was able to fit our refinishing project into his schedule sooner than anticipated. The work was done promptly and the floors looked great when he was done. There was very little dust to clean up afterwards.

From the first point of contact, Tim was excellent. He showed up on time for the estimate and then emailed our bid within one business day. After we contacted him to begin the work and decided on a date he was punctual, responsive, and thorough. He completed the job in less time than he quoted and left the job site in immaculate condition. It's clear that he takes pride in his work and went above and beyond to provide us with a quality job. The floors turned out better than we even imagined. We had no complaints whatsoever and no concerns before or after. We would not hesitate to refer him to our family and friends!

Amazing! I purchased a 1920's duplex and the 2nd floor flooring was scratched, worn, and fading in places. Plus one of the room had this horrible carpet, glue, and nails everywhere. I had a few different contractors come in and no one would due the room that was carpeted, plus they were all looking for $5-6k just refinished the floors. Tim was the only one that came in at a reasonable price, my floors are amazing and get complements all the time, plus he finished that little room in the above cost! He had to countersink a hundred or so nails first and then take off that glue. That floor ended up being maple vs. the rest of the house is red oak. But it looks amazing, I love it. He is the only flooring guy I will ever use in the future.

Tim was wonderful. Not only was he the most reasonably priced contractor we found, he also delivered what on what he proposed. He is what you would call the Best Value! He provided an accurate upfront cost and arrived on the days that he said he would. We had Tim install about 550SF of natural birch hardwood and his installation was flawless. The last coat of poly was not up to his professionalism so he opted to install one last coat to ensure we would be left with a floor we could enjoy for years! We can't say enough about his professionalism and workmanship. Thanks Tim!

Tim was very prompt in all communications and able to start work on the date that we requested. He answered our questions thoughtfully and worked through the weekend to finish the job ahead of schedule. We had only minor damage and stains to address, but those areas were thoroughly resolved and the floors look terrific. Tim obviously takes pride in his work, we would certainly call him for any future refinishing needs.

Tim did an amazing job of fixing the mistakes of a previous contractor and he was very responsive to our budget.

I had had Tim do a small upstairs bedroom some years ago based on a friend's recommendation and was very pleased with the work. We needed most of the rest of our floors done as part of a whole-house redecorating project, and we called Tim to do the work. He's a good guy to work with, communication is good, and responses to phone messages are always timely. He does very nice work and I believe his pricing to be reasonable. Over-all we were very pleased.
