 + -1 moreProvider strung us along all Fall promising design plan. Had signed agreement, gave deposit and received written assurance plan would be complete in 10 days. After ten days and no plan we asked for meeting later in month. Was then told too busy and had personal issues; allowed provider a month for resolution of issues. After not hearing back we re-contacted provider and were told plan would be done within 2 weeks. After two weeks provider reneged again saying could do plan in 2016 or send back deposit. We offered another date but instead received our money back in Dec without any explanation. Had to start again from scratch.
Description of Work: We had contracted with provider for a landscape design plan in September 2015.

 + -1 moreWe are thrilled with the new stairs, walk, and garden. They look fantastic and snow removal has been a breeze. They created a beautiful pattern with the walkway bricks. The new stairs and walk have been in place for 4 months, installed just before a particularly snowy and cold winter (2014). We could not be happier with the results. These folks listened and we got exactly what we wanted and needed. Shoveling and preventing ice build-up used to take ages--literally I'd be on my hands removing snow from between the bricks before anyone walked on the steps. If we didn't do this we'd get treacherous ice on the stairs. The new stairs are beautiful and safe. We highly recommend this company. They are good communicators. The work was done on time and as scheduled. The workers know what they are doing.
Description of Work: Designed stairway and walk to meet our needs. Removed brick stairway and large wing walls. Installed 7 stone steps. Installed brick walk from top of new stairs to front door of house. The predatory work to installing stone and brick was thorough--properly done. They also created garden on either side of stairs and walk. We wanted stairs that were as beautiful as the old, but much easier to maintain.

 + 0 moreGardenside did beautiful work cleaning up or yard after a rough winter, spreading a new layer of decorative mulch in all our beds and removing two dead shrubs and planting two new ones. This is the third year we have used them for various landscaping projects, including new trees and shrubs and spring or fall clean-up. They are great to work with and offer helpful advice.

 + -1 moreThey do fabulous installations on landscapes and designs. Our back yard looks beautiful and we use them all the time. The level of detail is great and they clean up after themselves. There is nothing left for us to do and so it is really nice. The ladies are really nice to work with. They are very professional and we would continue to use them. Their price is very fair. They respond to my calls immediately.

 + -1 moreGardenside Landscaping can do little stuff like weeding and maintenance, or big stuff like a complete landscape design with trees and scapes. They have several crews, all helpful, happy, hard-working gardeners. I'm so happy with my natural and healthy gardens.
Description of Work: I was sick for a while just as spring/summer was happening....everything turned green and grew outside. By the time, I recovered, I needed major help not only with maintenance (weeding, fertilizing, clean-up) in the yard and gardens, but also some ideas about how to do it better (health of the plants, design, placement) and I want to grow more berry bushes and fruit trees. Claudia (the owner) came over and knew every plant, and what to do about each and every situation. A small crew came out for a 1/2 day and cleaned/weeded/fertilized so that I had a clean slate to work with. They use all natural/organic material and help to choose native plantings. I've since then planted a blueberry garden and row of apple trees with their guidance. They also do big stuff like tree planting, stone scaping, etc.

 + -1 moreCALLED TWICE AND FINALLY ARRANGED A TIME WHEN MONICA COULD COME OUT AND LOOK AT MY LAWN AND PROVIDE ME A LANDSCAPING BID. I WAITED OVER A WEEK FOR THE BID AND WHEN I CALLED TO CHECK ON THE STATUS (AS MONICA INDICATED SHE WOULD PUT THE BID IN THE MAIL) MONICA ADVISED ME THAT IT TOOK HER AN HOUR TO GET TO MY HOUSE AND THAT APPARENTLY MY LOT SIZE AND DISTANCE TRAVELED WASN'T WORTH HER TIME. I WAS WILLING TO SPEND UP TO $4000 FOR LANDSCAPING, BUT WHAT THIS COMPANY IS TELLING ME IS THAT IF YOU DON'T SPEND MUCH MORE, THEY WONT SERVICE YOUR HOME IF YOU ARE A MAPLE GROVE HOMEOWNER.

 + -1 moreTHEY KNEW WHERE WE WERE LOCATED BEFORE THEY CAME OUT, AND OBVIOUSLY THEY KNEW BY THE TIME THEY ARRIVED. IF IT WAS TOO FAR FOR THEM TO COME BACK, THEY SHOULD SIMPLY HAVE LET US KNOW, WE WOULD HAVE UNDERSTOOD.
