+ 0 moreKris tthe contractor did a great job over all, he communicated very well, he was diligent in getting it done as soon as possible, and he is very skilled at carpentry and finishing work. We feel we have a finished basement that is the same quality and matches the rest the house which was built by a well known metro company. He was creative and worked for us, by giving us exactly what we wanted, unlike some of the other contractors we interviewed, who wanted to change and simplify our plan for their own convenience. Kris was very knowledgeable in energy efficiency, solar power and radient heat, as well as issues that can arise with finishing basements and rennovating. He has certifications beyond what many builders have. He used pleasant, trustworthy subs who also did very nice work. I would highly recommend Kris Waalen and Gallatin Homes for any building or remodeling project!
Description of Work: Gallatin completely finished our basement. He enthusiastically followed a plan that we had designed for our basement. It incliuded, a kitchen, bar, great room, exercise room with storage closet, full bath, a game/eating area, a gaming space under the stairs, and two large storage areas.

Description of Work: Finished basement. He did a pretty big job. He put in a kitchen, a movie area, exercise room, and wine cellar.
