Estate Claim Services did a great job from start to finish. They handled our claim, got the repairs done in a timely, professional manner, and even dealt with a very difficult insurance company. Now I have a new roof and siding and couldn't be happier!

Not only did he call in the insurance claim on my behalf, he was extremely helpful and patient throughout the entire process, keeping me informed every step of the way. His professionalism and commitment to my satisfaction made it an absolute pleasure doing business with him and ECS. All i can say is WOW! When i was approached by an estate claims services rep, the magic started. First i was unaware of the ability to replace my damaged roof at the insurance companies expense (minus deductible). So needless to say what a relief. They handled all the heavy lifting in dealing with the insurance company and the actual work, which was top notch. All the work was completed in a couple days,which was great. They cleaned up quickly and efficiently. And the work was perfect. In a world full of people just trying to do the minimum, Its refreshing to trust again. The work performed by Estate Claim Services was very professional from the start to finish. They hanlded everything with my insurance company which made all the stress go away. The roof looks great and everything was cleaned up to perfection. I would highly recommend.

Project went great. Roofers showed up right away in the morning, got right to work and finished early afternoon the same day. They did a good job cleaning up after they were all done with the roof.

Great company to work with. Estate Claim Services replaced my roof and gutters after some bad weather came through our area and caused damage to my house. They coordinated the entire project with me and my insurance company, recommended shingles brand and replaced my plastic gutters with seamless gutters. The whole experience was flawless. Very happy with this company and would highly recommend them.

We feel this company was just out cruising the neighborhood and trying to convince homeowners that they needed work that was NOT needed. They said one area of our roof was so bad that they were going bring out a blue tarp the next day. They never did that, and once they met our insurance adjuster at the house, we never heard from them again. Their technique of lifting up sections of roof shingles to show us how we had wind damage is not an accepted technique in the industry. Although they didn't try to charge us anything, we feel they are "storm chasers" and not reliable.

Company did a good job on custom window replacing project. Fast, clean and well-coordinated. Good color, style matching with existing windows.

Our neighborhood saw a few different door knockers come through last summer asking about possible roof storm damage. We had considered the possibility of storm damage, so we allowed an Estate Claim Services (ECS) rep take a look at our roof. I'm not sure we would have qualified for storm damage if we had not had discontinued shingles. It was a good sell by ECS, and after some discussion with a couple other contractors, including a building contractor, we decided to go with ECS, signing a contract in late October 2014. They also won the bid because of their willingness to fix a 12'x8' roof slope issue (other contractors offer the same service) that caused ice dam problems during a couple past winters. What I didn't realize at the time was that ECS is not a building contractor but rather a claim service that bids out the work they bid on. This is where issues came rolling in. ECS assured us, and guaranteed us, that the work would be done right and done well. Unfortunately we ran into a number of issues using ECS, including unsupervised subs and poor communication. The first issue we found was a couple roof vents were shingled over that I had to point out to ECS. The city inspector I spoke with said this happens once in a while, but should have been caught by a job sup. Vents should also have been counted, especially when you may have extra vents lying on the driveway that should have been used. Second issue was the roof slope was done without the correct support and had to be done twice. I took photos of the work (I had to take a many photos overall) and showed ECS the amount of "bounce" there was on the new slope when I stood on it, but the proper support was still not added a second time. I even handed one of the ECS reps (Vlad) a diagram I found online showing the correct truss and sleeper board support since he seemed confused by what I was talking about, and compared it too photos of their work on our roof. Not sure if this work was done by ECS or a 3rd party contractor, but it should have been done by a remodeler to avoid issues. Fortunately the city inspector thought it would be waterproof enough, but not 100% weight proof. Didn't leave me with a very confident feeling. Another issue was the discovery of roofers standing on the edges on our gutters. Not on the roof, but on their toes on the gutters. As I pointed this out to the job sup onsite, he laughed and said something like "they only weight 120 pounds". If the gutters broke loose, the fall would have only been 10-12 feet, though they may have been harnessed in. Nonetheless, two front getters were bent and needed to be replaced. This was careless workmanship and should not have happened. I advised Vlad at ECS last fall to drop off the new gutters so I could paint them before install, but they were installed unpainted. A third gutter also needed to be replaced where the roofers kept their main ladder onto the roof. Long story short, the gutters just got painted on/around July 17th this year to complete the roofing job. A total of nine months to finish a 3-4 day job. Other issues included poor clean up (I still have a strip of material hanging from a tree), an unused satellite dish reinstalled on the roof that I did not want reinstalled (told sales rep Joe 3 times about this, twice while he and I walked around the house) and the roof contractor tossing siding that was temporarily removed to fix the roof slope, new siding needed to be ordered. Communicating with the subs could have avoided all of this. The ECS painter who finally came to paint our gutters this summer came to our house twice WITHOUT paint. We then discovered the reason he couldn't finds the paint at Sherwin Williams, it was because the ECS office gave him the name of our siding as the paint color. I had to shake my head at that one. There were many frustrations, a number of emails addressing issues and finally a sit down conversation with Alex and Vlad to discuss all the issues. I will say ECS does a good job working with insurance companies to file claims for you, but I would assume a contractor looking to win a bid for a high margin job would be willing to earn your business and would do the same leg work. I would not fail ECS, since the work was completed and passed inspection. At best they might have earned a C-, but there were too many issues that left us needing to be home to "supervise" the work. With an easy roof, and less concern about the quality of work performed, ECS would probably do a fine job. Due to the lack of sub supervision and weak communication from and within ECS, next time we will consider a building remodeler or a contractor that has the experience and resources to do the work in-house or ability to hire/pay quality subs.

Just want to share my experience: I hired Estate Claim Services (ECS) in 2014. I had never had an insurance claim or had any major remodeling done to my property before. I was very nervous at first, as my initial insurance estimate didn't seem to be enough to cover the project. ECS assured me that they would directly negotiate with my insurer on the scope and pricing of the project to make sure it was adequate and my only out-of-pocket cost would be my deductible. As they promised, they worked closely with my insurance and even though the process took some time, at the end it all happened as they said it would. Once the scope was agreed upon, ECS brought a very knowledgeable window rep to explain different product options which was extremely helpful. Once I made my choice, the windows were ordered. I had 8 windows and 1 patio door installed. The installation took only 2 days and a few hours on 3rd day for minor touch up and final clean up. The crew was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. They covered the floors and furniture and treated my personal belongings like it was their own. Production manager and sales rep stopped by during the project and for the final walk-around. Their office was on top of things. I would definitely recommend Estate Claim Services.

Estate Claim Services LLC did a wonderful job. They were very good at paying attention to detail, and cleaned up all materials when the job was complete. Every thing went well looks beautiful.
