They were quick to respond. Quick to schedule an appointment, but then they arrived and I explained the work that I needed done, they were not able to do it.

He's good and he did a good job. My wife likes the work that he's done so far and we got more work coming up. He made it look real good. We're going to have him do some fascia and gutters on the garage. He's got a guy that he's working with that he's going to have to put the gutters on. He's going to do the fascia and replace the boards that are bad. He's kind of a neat, old guy and I think he's professional in his own way.

Loren responded to my request for a cost estimate very promptly. He looked at our leaning fence and determined which posts needed to be replaced. After we accepted his estimate, Loren and Tony returned about a week later with new fence posts and completed the project in a single day. They cleaned the work area very well before leaving and their workmanship is very good. Loren and Tony were very polite, pleasant and professional. I would certainly hire Duke Building and Remodeling again.

Their quote was reasonable. The interaction was brief. They came in, gave us a quote, and we didn't end up using them. We would use them in the future, but we just put things on the back burner for now.

They did a very job and their quality of work is excellent. I'd recommend them.

It all went very well. He does a very nice and exact job. He is pleasant to work with. He did shopping for me. He picked up the lock set for me. He went out of his way to get me a good price. I am planning to work with him again.

He and his two sons came out and worked on it. He was very reasonable. Unfortunately, we had this really drenching rain that washed everything away. All the dirt and everything that he had put over it was washed away and the downspout was exposed. He came out again and fixed it all and then put sod and stuff all over it. He spent all day redoing everything but he didn't charge us for that. I think that he felt very bad because everything had been washed away. he also does building work like decks and things and we were considering him if we were going to have deck built, but haven't really decided on that.

Very pleased with the work that was done. He arrived timely (with an assistant) and got to work right away (he had been over previously to give a bid). The repaired section of fence is indistinguishable from the remainder of the fence - the work was so well done that you can't tell which section needed repair. The chain link fence was an eyesore. He removed it completely and left the error clean. We are so satisfied with the work he has done that he is currently working up a bid for some additional work we may want to do.

We received bids from several contractors but hired him. His price was very good. We needed some concise siding replaced as a part of the job and all the other contractors told us that they don't make that siding anymore. They said that they would look around and try to find something. He talked about looking in our garage but he was sure enough to handle the siding. He was very honest. He came and did all the work himself. He did not send people that we did not know to do work. His sister-in-law came and helped him out. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. We would be having him back as we still need a concrete slab and he did not do that. He would do the concrete slab and then do the siding job. He would be coming with a concrete man and make a plan. It was very nice of him to go through the extra efforts. It has been a great experience. We are in our sixties and have been getting tired of dealing with the house. We have been getting visions that it would be falling down. Now that we know him, we could stay in our home longer as it is not such a burden. We found him on Angie's List while we were looking for somebody to do the fence as it was one of the jobs. He was under a bunch of different categories.

He brought all materials needed, did the job, was careful to clean up.

Coming from a single parent, (women), I will say beyond a doubt, that I appreciated Mr. Duke and would highly recommend him. He came out the day after I phoned, to give me an estimate for the windows, (my dog had broken them), that I had no choice but to replace. The price was much less than other bids, so I accepted. Along with replacing the windows, they also needed to be rewrapped, so since he had more than enough of the material, he went ahead and wrapped a significant area on my front soffet that was missed when the new siding had been put on. No additional cost. One of the larger windows was missing the wood work around it on the inside, Mr. Duke added beautiful picture frame wood working around the window. No additional cost. He also took it upon himself to fix a board in my fence and the address plate on the front of my house. No additional cost. I was so happy with his services, I told my mom. She was having trouble with water coming in her basement, and needed the basement bathroom remodeled. The estimate he gave for the bathroom included a new toilet, sink, shower, and tiled floor. The bathroom is very small, so he rerouted plumbing and shifted things around to create a more open and spacious room, it looks amazing! He also took time to paint and install all the fixings, like towl bars, toothepaste holder, etc. At one point, my mom decided she needed a taller toilet in the upsatirs bathroom, Mr. Duke took the upstairs toilet, installed it in the basement bathroom, and installed the new toilet upstairs. Prior to Mr. Duke, my mom had hired a man to do some work on the roof, this man told her that she needed knew vents and was really giving my mom the runaround. Mr. Duke went up on the roof, told my mom all she needed was the vents cleaned, told her DO NOT give that man your money, and took care of the problem. No additional cost. Realizing that my father is suffering from dimensia, in need of constant care, Mr. Duke went around and fixed all kinds of things for my mom while he was there. No additional cost. The bathroom looks amazing, and the basement remains dry. The personal care, customer service, and quality work that Mr. Duke provided, was refreshing to say the least.
