Drain Busters

It was a pleasure to deal with Joe at Drain Busters. I first called on a Friday and Joe was timely in his return of my phone call. We were unable to schedule over the weekend(we were busy when he was free), but he got me in on the Monday following my call. He quickly diagnosed that it was not the main sewer line. In ten minutes the drain was cleared of the lint build-up and he cleaned up the area where they had made a small mess. He did point out that there were roots in the line and that clearing it would be preventative at this stage. There was no hard sell about clearing the roots which I appreciated. We will definitely use them when we do the line out to the street. They were much more reasonable in price than Roto-Rooter!

Joe was so polite and professional in every way. My wife was home with our newborn infant, and Joe helped out with the search for the second clean out. He was very friendly and explained how we could go about fixing the remaining problem. We have arranged for Joe to do a preventative cleaning on the main line of our much maligned sewer at our rental property. We'll be calling Joe from now on for all our sewer problems. Great guy. Joe was flexible with scheduling (evening appts) and punctual. His first visit confirmed, that I had a main drain line clog and he prepared to clear it. He could not quickly locate the cleanout (buried in the basement sandpit). Rather than charge me extra for spending time to dig, he explained where the cleanout should be located in the sand pit and that I could call to schedule a new appointment, after I found it. He did not charge me for his visit. After I located the cleanout, Joe was able to return. After meeting Joe, I trusted him to use the lockbox, to enter the house while I was at work. Joe called me after he finished, to tell me what he had found. He was able to clear half a garbage bag's worth of tree roots and debris from the drain line (apparently this is an extraordinary amount). He cleaned up the work area very well. Aside from the garbage bag, I could not tell he had been there. Everything drains very well now. Highly recommended!

I had a great experience with them. Not only did it correct the problem, he was willing to describe the possible causes of the problem; how I should check for the city code inspection that must have been made; and explained that if I ever wanted to completely fix it what would need to be done. He suggested a solution to help the shower head, and was polite, cheerful, and tidy. I would definitely use them again!!

I selected Joe not only, because he received great grades from Angies, but because he gave an estimate over the phone. Another company said that they would give an estimate after they arrive, then you decide whether you want to proceed. First of all, what can you tell by just looking at a floor drain, and second, who is going to send them away as long as they are there? Joe with Drain Busters is top notch.

Called on Thursday evening and Joe came Friday afternoon. He was even early. Out of all the plumbers we have used, this is one we will make SURE we keep!

They were prompt, the price seemed fair. He thought it was in the city line, so he called the city for me, and they sent someone out and the city said it was between the house and the street. So he came out again the following day and worked a good hour and got it cleaned and really worked and did a very good job. He even did an extra cleaning in my drain between my bathroom and the sewer. He was prompt, professional, and his price was fair (I know because I did a lot of comparison shopping). He charged me half the first day he came out, and the other half when he finished the job, which I thought was very fair. He's the only one I've had come out that used an electric auger. He also guarantees his work for six months.

Polite, confident, very descriptive as to what the procedure they were going to perform. Even helped out diagnosing a clogged toilet for no charge & gave us suggestions on how to fix the toilet.

Drain Busters were great! They arrived on time, were courteous, cleared the plug quickly and went above and beyond the call of duty. (They filled my water softener with salt for me!) They explained everything they were doing and cleaned up the area when they were done. I will definitely use Drain Busters next time I have a plugged drain!

Joe was excellent and patient and deserves your business. I have been an Angie's list member for two years now, and this is my first post. He was on time and committed to getting the job done. I called him at 7:00ish in the morning, and he was there by 2:00 PM the same day and at a reasonable price.

Outstanding service. Joe was on time, polite, and very careful about moving his equipment down to the basement. He also took the time to explain things to me, did not pressure me for additional services, and did a great job of cleaning up afterwards (not a small task with several pounds of sewer gunk!) I was able to get an appointment right away, and Joe and his team were on time, worked quickly and efficiently, were careful to keep everything clean, and they are fairly priced. Their work guarantee is great too, compared to others. I highly recommend them and will definitely call Joe again if I have a drain problem.

Our main drain had backed up and was flooding the basement. I called Drain Busters in the morning, and because the service technicians could not get to my house until after 6pm, they discounted the price. The were very professional, friendly and helpful, and they left the basement clean. I will not hesitate to call them again.

Joe and company came out and had it cleared within 15 minutes of setting up. We are extremely happy all-around with work performed. Joe had committed yesterday to a flat 65 dollars prior to coming out. I can't say I could have done the same. We will definitely use them in the future for plumbing work when needed.

We were very happy with the service we received. After my initial voice message, I received a call back within a half hour. The price quoted was for the actual job, not just an estimate. Scheduling with them was very easy, as we were able to have them come out when we needed them, and they gave us an hour window of when they would be by to fix the drain. They promptly showed up on time. They asked if we wanted to watch them as they did their job and after they cleaned up nicely. I thought the tub might need to be cleaned as well. They looked at the tub, cleaned out one little area, but didn't charge us for it since they didn't actually snake the drain. (They had quoted an additional $30, if they needed to snake it). Overall, I thought the service was reasonably priced in comparison to other companies and I thought the service was quite good. They were very nice, very punctual, and very efficient.

The work was done on time, at cost, and the guy couldn't be friendlier. This is the second time that we have used Drain Buster's service, and again, they were an easy A+

Joe was prompt in returning my calls and was very polite. He and his assistant, Jeff, were on time and very accommodating (even cheerfully putting up with my three attention-craving dogs). They worked quickly, and they charged only what they had estimated on the phone. Joe additionally worked to make sure my floor drain was clear and explained every step of the process to me. They completely cleaned up after themselves, offered a 60 day guarantee, and suggested possible future maintenance. I appreciated their service and VERY fair pricing! Drain Busters is excellent! He unclogged my drain quickly, which was most important, but he was also very tidy, polite, and responsive. Joe was also very kind to show my two little boys all his tools and how to use a sewer snake! Also, he was a little late, but called me to let me know that he was on his way. I would for sure use Drain Busters again.
