Drain Busters

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the service Drain Busters (and Joe!) provided! During my initial call, Joe was helpful and friendly, and when he found that he was going to be arriving at the later part of his time frame, he still called to apologize. When Joe got here, he was quick and thorough, and very willing to answer all of my questions. He completed the drain routing quickly and thoroughly, and without being asked, even cleaned some of the grossest stuff out of the shower and sinks. When I got the bill, it was even lower than Joe's original estimate! I now have a cleaned-out sewer line and a guarantee--something that I understand is not normally given by other sewer cleaning companies. Although I hope I don't have to use a plumber/sewer cleaner for a long time, if I do, I will definitely go with Drain Busters. I recommend them highly to anyone with a plumbing or sewer problem!

They come out quite often. They are just real friendly and nice. They always come out pretty quickly.

Joe did a great job walking me through each step he was doing, was very professional and mindful of cleaning up after he finished. He came out the same day we called and was completely upfront about the billing. I signed up to be added to his calling list to have the service done in another year.

Very well. Joe returned my call within 10 minutes, and scheduled the work for the next day. He kept me apprised of progress on the job site (a rental property I own), which involved re-doing work done previously by another contractor. He also discussed the clogged line with my renters and how to avoid repeat problems.

Contacted Joe from Angie List. His price was very reasonable. We set up a time for him to come the next day. He called 15 minutes before the time to say he was running behind at the previous job and would be a little late, which I appreciated. He came in a reasonable amount of time. Checked the drain and immediately cleaned it out. Even helped me move the dryer back in and hook up the vent! Very pleasant, hard working man.

Loyal customers receive a discount for recommending them to others. He is the best around, and charges the least! He cleans up after himself, and always responds within 24 hours.

EXCEEDED expectations every step of the way. Called Drain Busters left message, got a call back immediately. Set up for cleaning the next day. Joe showed up as scheduled - no waiting. Cleaned out a sink and bath tub drain. He noticed that the p trap had been siliconed many times and suggested a new pipe. I asked how much and he replied $7. That was a no brainer. Then Joe cleaned out (snaked?) our drain to the sewer. I had a sleeping baby and he was very considerate of the noise. I was THRILLED with the service.

Joe did call me late on Tuesday, but by then, I already had the work completed by Zell.

Joe called back in a timely manner. He came when he said he would. He did the work in less than an hour. The cost would have been less had I been able to wait a day. I would highly recommend this company.

We needed sewer line cleaning and chose Drain Busters based on prices and reviews here on Angie's List. We were able to get an appointment on the second business day after we called. Crew arrived near the end of the appointment slot (4-6 pm), but Joe (owner) and assistant (Marshall) called me in advance to warn me, then went right to business when they arrived. Joe was nicely chatty and explanatory as he worked. They finished in less than an hour and cleaned up well (they borrowed two buckets from me), even with the delay of replacing some minor plumbing on the kitchen sink's drainpipe. Slow draining and smell from the kitchen drains are gone, and backups have not reappeared thus far. I felt I got good service at a very good price.

Was prompt, professional and very reasonable. Compared to other service providers I've used in the past, was much better on all the key evaluation criteria.

I highly recommend them-professional, reasonable, and on time. He was here about an hour and a half and charged $95. I don't think there was a service charge to come out.

I found Drain Busters through Angie's List. I was impressed with the reviews that previous clients gave. I called to schedule the service and left a detailed message at about 3 in the afternoon. By 6:30 p.m. Joe had called me back, apologized for the delay (training a new assistant) and explained in detail what he would do in order to remedy our slow flowing kitchen drain. We scheduled the appointment for the following morning, and he told me exactly what the cost of the service would be ($65). At precisely the time he said he would arrive, Joe and his helper came to the door. Our plumbing subcontractor and I walked him through the issue, showed him where everything was, and he got to work. Joe was careful to keep a clean work area (under my kitchen sink), was efficient in getting the job done, explained to me what causes kitchen pipe build-up, and how to best prevent it in the future. Excellent work, great guy, fantastic price.

I was very pleased with the level of service provided. Joe was courteous and professional and explained what he was doing as he worked.

Joe scraped the main drain all the way to the street sewer. He also ground up some roots that were causing some of the problem. Then he plugged the shower basin and poured 5 gallons of water. He did the same to the laundry sink. He then pulled both plugs simultaneously to see if the water backed up. It did not. Satisfied, he carefully moved his equipment back to his truck and made sure he left no trace. We had the grandchildren at the time. Joe took the time to greet them and chatted with them. Our drains work like they should be. He also gave us a discount because we were a repeat customer.

Joe and his assistant were fantastic! They came on time, were really nice guys, explained everything they did and got the job done really fast. To top it off, Joe gave us a discount because he missed our first phone message and we had to call a second time. The other Angie's List reviewers said so many nice things about him that we really wanted to have him come out! His price was also about half of what we paid the last time we got our sewer cleaned out. We would definitely hire him again! In fact, he has already put us in his files for a 2 year reminder call!

The technician was very thorough, professional and courteous. We will use them for all future main drain cleanings.

Great. Joe got the drain running in about two hours - having to run the snake 115 feet out to the boulevard to clear the roots.

Joe was amazing. He showed up when he said he would and was pleasant and professional. I can't say enough how great he was. I had called anther plumbing co before him (found the number in the yellow pages) and they wanted to charge $100 to just come out, look, and give an estimate. What a rip-off!

It was a FABULOUS experience. Joe returned my call the same day and came out the next afternoon. He was running a bit later than he said, but he called to check in with me and let me know. He was professional, friendly, honest, and thorough. He finished the job in 40 minutes. We have to have this line cleaned out annually because of the roots, and this is the first time we've used Joe after finding him on Angie's List. We were much happier with the service and the price was almost 1/2 of what we've had to pay in the past! This alone more than paid for our Angie's list subscription!

Joe was great. He arrived 10 minutes early on a Saturday morning (at no extra charge), and assessed our needs quickly. He cleaned our main line thoroughly, much better than another company we had been using over the past three years, and at a much better rate. Joe also looked at a slow drain we had in our bathtub, and gave us good advice on how to address the problem permanently. This company will be our drain cleaners from now on.

Joe answered the phone after 5 when I called and gave me an estimate over the phone after asking me some questions. We set up an appointment for the next day and he arrived on time and did an excellent job. He gave me some tips for catching more lint from the washing machine and for keeping the water running smoothly. He guaranteed his work for six months and the price certainly was right.

Although Joe was 30 minutes later than the agreed upon time, he took the time to call me and let me know that he was running late. While performing the work, I appreciated that he took time to look at another drain and tell us that it wouldn't be worth our money to have him snake that as well. Additionally, he cleaned up the shower that he had used the power snake to clear. He was very sociable and professional.
