DONE RIGHT TILE

Extremely responsive to initial call and all following calls. Performed the majority of the work in one day with subsequent return visits to prep wall for new tile. Joe will also be installing the new backsplash once the countertop has been replaced.

Joe does very nice installation and tile work. Joe has done two tile backsplashes for us (one in our former home and one in our new home) and they both turned out beautifully. The flooring is also very nice. Joe stands behind his work and is honest.

He was very personable and helpful. He went the extra mile and even helped me pick out tile. He has excellent ideas for all the areas he tiled.

Joe is a really nice person, but he was not the right man for our job, for several reasons. First, he provided incorrect responses to a couple of questions we asked about tile work before he arrived at our home. We verified that they were incorrect by doing our own research on the Internet. Second, he openly admits that he is not a skilled worker at woodwork or plumbing. Therefore, he likes it when the homeowners handle the woodwork and plumbing on their own, rather than him handling it. He said that he would not warranty any of the work that was not tile work. He was also concerned about what he would do with carpet that ran up to the edge of the tile. He suggested that we hire a carpet specialist to handle that. In short, we were looking for a contractor who could do it all, and Joe is not that person. That said, I think he would have given everything a 100% effort, and he does have many happy customers. Unfortunately, he doesn't do everything we wanted him to do.
