+ -1 moreWE STILL HAVE TO RECEIVE SOME MORE BIDS. HE SEEMED UNPREPARED AND NOT WILLING TO LISTEN TO WHAT WE WANTED EITHER ON THE PHONE OR IN PERSON. OUR FIRST IMPRESSION OF DESIGN FENCE LEFT US FEELING VERY UNSURE ABOUT WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY. I FELT LIKE I WAS BUYING A USED CAR.
Description of Work: WE RECEIVED A BID FOR ABOUT A 500 FOOT FENCE JOB, HE SUGGESTED WE REPAIR AND PAINT OUR EXISTING FENCE, AT A COST OF $5000, TO REPLACE THE FENCE WOULD BE $12,500 TWICE AS MUCH AS ANY OTHER BID WE RECEIVED. HE SHOWED UP FOR AN APPOINTMENT WE DIDN'T CONFIRM AS SCHEDULE, HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL BEFORE COMING. HE ALSO DIDN'T HAVE A BUSINESS CARD OR ANY TYPE OF PAPERWORK TO WRITE A PROPOSAL ON THE SPOT. HE TOOK ONLY 5 MINUTES TO MEASURE OUR FENCE WITHOUT ANY TOOLS, A WALKING MEASUREMENT. A BID WE RECEIVED AN HOUR BEFORE QUOTED A PRICE OF $1,300 FOR REMOVAL OF FENCE, HE QUOTED MINIMUM OF $2,500.
