wallpaper removal, interior painters
+ 0 moreMike was speedy in arranging the work on our house, because he knew we had a tight time frame. We appreciated the end result. There had been a couple problems, that came up during the process, that he took care of. We had a bulge in our sheet rock, and he discovered that our subfloor was extending out too far. He called in a specialist to fix this for us. Near the end of the job, he found a slight tint difference in some of the paint, so he worked with the paint company to correct it. I couldn't even tell the difference, but they re-painted it, to make sure it was right, and so we'd have touch-up paint. The furniture and carpets were protected, and his attention to detail was very good. He recommended some areas to leave wallpaper up on and he was able to paint over, which was a good decision.
Description of Work: They did interior painting for me. They removed wallpaper and glue from much of the interior of the house, then painted most of the house and spray painted textured ceilings.

+ -1 moreWe ultimately hired someone else who did remove the wallpaper (and who charged us less than Mike's estimate). The ceiling was not, in fact, damaged when the wallpaper was removed.
Description of Work: Mike gave us an estimate to paint two rooms in our house. He was personable and arrived on time. The two rooms each had wallpaper border that we wanted removed. He told us that it would take too long to remove the wallpaper, and that it would damage the ceiling in the process. He said that he would paint over the wallpaper.
