Dave Monson's Lawn and Snow Service has done an excellent job with all my lawn needs and snow removal since 1987. Never used anyone else. Always amiable, professional, does quality work, explains what needs to be done clearly, and gets the job done exactly as promised at the estimated cost. Always honest and responsive.

He knows his business and is passionate about it.

I've left 3 messages to have work done at my father's home in Burnsville. Prior to his death, he used their services and was very pleased with their work. Unfortunately, I can't even get them to return a simple phone call.

He is reasonable, he does lawn and snow removal, and I've used him for both services. I've used him in Bloomington, Lakeville and Princeville. I'm not currently using him because I'm on a town house but it was only November of last year that I've stopped using him. He is also timely. He is the best of all the other companies I've ever used.

I could not be happier with Dave and his crew. They have been very considerate of our pets, quick turnaround on ANY service, tree removal, lawn care, snow removal, etc. Very courteous communication.

I moved into a house mid November. The previous owners left me with a lot of leaves in the yard. I called one lawn care place and they said all their fall equipment was already all stored away. Dave Monson, on the other hand, was eager to help me out. He was able to arrive the very next day after calling him. I wasn't home when the work was done, but the results looked great. All the leaves in my yard are gone. $36/hr +10 dumping fee for each bag

They have always been very responsive to special requests and prompt and efficient with all work. They do a good job, careful not to damage anything, clean up and are very reliable.

Monson's is a good deal for the price. They come, they mow, they leave. I see some of our neighbors have services that do more detail work (edging, etc.), but they are significantly more expensive. Monson's guys look a little rough sometimes, but they have always been friendly. If you want a basic mow service, I you will be satisified.

I called Dave on Saturday and he returned my call that afternoon. He offered to come by on Sunday to take a look at my lawn and give me a bid. He did just that. I hired him on the spot as he was the one to make contact and not complain about my location. He indicated that though Mondays probably wouldn't be my mow day, he noticed that I could use a cut soon as it was a little overgrown. He said that they would be able to get my lawn done on the following Monday. Didn't know if it was going to happen, but when I came home my lawn was beautifully cut and all cleaned up. I am extremely happy with the results and will hopefully be able to use them as a handyman of sorts for the rest of my needs. Such as gutter clean out and making a garden.

They have taken care of my lawn several times over the last few years. They are very prompt and affordable. They are versatile. They could give me estimates for other repairs in my house that were in his area of expertise.

I think it was fine. They just continued service that the previous owners had. They are very nice to talk with and are very accommodating.

They charge about $45 a month for snow removal. They are very practical about the service. For example they don't apply fertilization when it is not needed. They will plow the snow in the morning and then check back after the plows go by to make sure that I haven't been plowed in again.

Do a good job and if I have an issue they always deal with it.
