Went on CU Companies website and asked to be contacted to help us sell our home. No one responded. So we called, set up a date and the agent never showed up. We tried one more time two years later to use CU companies since it is affiliated with my credit union. We contacted Stacy Gerrety this time, who is a different agent with CU companies then the guy that never responded. Stacy came out to the house, and basically conveyed she was not willing to sell our house unless we dropped the price $20,000.00. I got the impression she only wanted to represent us if it resulted in a for sure sale. We did not use CU Realty. When we put our house on the market for the price we had originally wanted we had multiple offers in the first week. Unfortunately, the bid we accepted ended up falling through due to buyers financing.

(deleted member name): I really enjoyed meeting with you and your husband in 2012. You had a beautiful home in a great location in Lindstrom. I always operate in an honest and up-front fashion with potential clients. That is why I explained that I didn’t think that I could sell your property for the exact price that you wanted at such a challenging time in the market. A few reasons why I operate that way, are to save the homeowner expenses in getting the home ready to sell and to save the homeowner the time and stress of having showings and going through the sales process (including low offers…), but potentially not being able to sell for the price that they want/need. Since I have been a Realtor for over 9 years, I’ve learned that it can put homeowners in a bad position/create stress and problems for them, to list their homes too high for the market. Some Realtors will take any listing, hoping to get the sellers to lower their price at a later time. I’ve found that it’s best to provide my honest, professional opinion on their situation. I also want to provide the best experience for my clients, get them the most money possible, and be their advocate through the whole process. I’m sorry that you felt that I was looking for a lower price listing, just to get a quick sale. I was not. Per the tax system, it looks like you were able to sell your home eventually. The experience with CU Companies was good. We reached them through my credit union and we felt like we got the best deal with them.

We had a great experience. Dan was very available to us. We asked a billion questions and he remained patient with both me and my husband. He found us a great car for below the msrp, and his service, cost us nothing.
Description of Work: Dan is a car search service. He helped us narrow our choices down with a lot of information about the different vehicle options, etc. He helped us through each step of the process, and when we had decided which car we wanted he did all the leg work to find it for us.
