Completely unsatisfactory product and service. Coating was installed in July 2009 and began to chip within the first year. Mike, the owner of the company, came back to patch the damaged areas several times over the next two years, but then said that he would not continue to do so because of the distance. He provided patching material and told my elderly parents to do their own repairs. The floor has continued to deteriorate. We contacted him last summer, and he said that he was too busy at that time to address it but would come out in the fall to look at the floor and provide additional patching. We never heard from him. Creative Coatings claims that the problem was caused by moisture, which is not covered by the warranty. We are skeptical of this explanation. There is no evidence of moisture where the coating has come off. Neighboring townhouses with the same concrete floors have had coatings applied by other companies and none have had moisture problems. We have talked to other contractors and they have said that a moisture barrier should be applied under the coating. Mike never mentioned the possibility of moisture causing a problem. He also said he has never had complaints about a job. We recently called some of the references he provided and learned this was not true; when my mother pointed this out to Mike, he called her a liar. We believe that Mike and his crew did not properly prepare the surface to allow the coating to adhere. The job was finished much earlier than expected, and the floor under the chipped coating is smooth. We have asked for a refund of the purchase price so that we can have the faulty coating removed and a new coating installed, but Concrete Coatings has refused.

I had contacted Mike about a month before our move about coating the floor right after we moved into our new house. He explained the process and what to expect. I contacted him again when it seemed like everything was on schedule for our closing and move. Unfortunately, the weather and his schedule did not permit him to coat the floor in the few days we had before everything was moved into the garage. However, his crew moved everything out of the garage, coated the floor and replaced everything. The crew was kind and hard-working, and the garage looks great!

Mike keep me in the loop as so when he was available to do the project numerous calls. He called early Thursday 05/08 and ASKED if Friday the 05/09 would work for me. Not him. I agreed he said 8 am .2 of his employees were her at 0730 and asked if I needed help sweeping the garage floor. I was just finishing up. They looked over the floor to see what would be required to do this coating. Mike and another employee arrive at 0745. They backed up their trailer , started unloading and setting equipment up. Mike went over the scope of project with me and explained the step by step procedure with me. He asked if I had any questions or concerns. Being none the 4 of them got right at it.These guys worked like a well oiled machine. Everyone knew what was next as this product can not be mixed up all at once . Real professional group. This is hard labor and intense work. In finishing I want to commend Mike for the job he did. The crew that he has. (It was very apparent his crew wanted to work for and with Mike and they all got along very well as well keeping it fun). I am so pleased as I myself is a so called perfectionist. I am a retired trades person as well. So when I see quality I recognize it and that is why I am recognizing CREATIVE CONCRETE COATINGS INC. P/S I have not been an Angie's list member very long but I have used 2 contractors for projects and am very pleased with the results. I have so much faith that another Angie's list contractor will be replacing my blacktop driveway with concrete in June of this year. Thanks Mike and crew and thank you Angie. Dave Emmons

Everything went extremely well and I am very satisfied with the results. It has been several months, and the floor has been great. I spilled some motor oil on it while changing lawn mower oil, and instead of a stain in the concrete, I just wiped it up with an old rag and its like it never happened. The 10-year warranty is there if I need it, but the floor has been wonderful to work on, and has stood up to a reasonable amount of punishment already as I've moved some heavier wood shop equipment around on it.. Thanks to the flakes and a mild grit in the topcoat, it's not too slippery even with the water that regularly coats it now that winter has arrived and the cars come in dripping wet nearly every trip. The MMA does have a very strong odor on the day it is applied and cured, and we noticed it a little bit for the next day or two after, but it was completely fine after that with no odor at all. I would highly recommend working with the guys at Creative Concrete Coatings to anyone. They were polite, professional, have a great product, and on top of all that, had the best price I could find.

Very quick compared if i had to do it myself. Smell was strong even aftyer a couple days. I got used to it, but others noticed. You always want to pay less of course for anything. Its done and am happy with the results.
