Crawford has done a few repairs on our garage doors, including a new opener and cable replacement. Everything has been fast, friendly, well-done, and reasonably priced. Most recently he let me know that our broken opener could be repaired rather than replaced, at a considerable cost savings. I'd recommend without reservation.

Before contacting Crawford, I called Genie, the garage door company, and tried troubling shooting the reason my door wouldn't close. They offered many suggestions including replacing the sensors. I used Crawford, because they had originally replaced my garage door and I was very happy with their service. Ron, the service tech, tried troubleshooting the reasons it wouldn't close before he installed the sensors. My wife, who was home at the time, appreciated his troubleshooting and diligence before suggesting that he needed to replace the bad sensors. She said he didn't try upsalling her to buy the sensors before he tried all other options and greatly appreciated that.

Performed the installation exactly as requested. Everything works great.

Arrived when they said they would, replaced the opener, serviced the rollers etc. Very satisfied.

Very efficient installation process. The door works very well; it is light-weight, fits perfectly, and is of very high-grade material. It was not the cheapest bid that I got, but product quality and company standards was important to me. Personnel are friendly, professional, and reliable. No high pressure sales; just good product and company. The door that was removed was a Crawford door that was installed in 1957!

Very professional, quick, and was able to get out to me in 2 days. Offered to add keyless entry for reasonable price and did this as well.

Excellent. From the first call to Rick, Crawford was helpful, transparent, and no-pressure. Rick gave me a ballpark quote over the phone and then sent someone to do an in-person estimate. I explained that we needed a new door and opener but weren't interested in anything fancy because the garage is ancient and unheated. The salesperson helped us pick out a high quality, low cost door and opener and gave us a fixed price, including installation. After the door arrived, Rick promptly set up an install. The installer was super cooperative and did the work without us even needing to be home. When we got home, the door was finished and looked great. I know nothing about garage doors but could tell that the work was done carefully (everything from how the wires were run looked neat and squared away). The installer even threw in a free exterior opener! We were really impressed and will be recommending Crawford to our friends. Thanks Rick!

I attempted to contact the provider numerous times on different days, unfortunately when calling in off hours I was never able to leave a message as once I picked the appropriate telephone prompt the message would tell me that the voicemail is either full or the number is not functioning. I finally was able to call during the business hours, just to get hung up on 4 times in a row. These were very obvious hang ups, as I could hear the office noise in the background, the phone getting lifted and slammed down. I finally started screaming into the phone as soon as it got picked up and the young lady started asking me what I want. I asked her why she hung up on me 4 times in a row and at first she refused that she did, and then said that she doesnt know what is happening as she was getting the DEX recorded message. I told her NO, for the last 4 times it was ME, a customer, and you didnt even listen to find out! She kept being argumentative with me and kept asking me what I wanted. I said that Id like an apology, after which she said "Im sorry that happened to you"... what?! it didnt happen to me! you did it, and thats what the apology should have stated. In any case, I told her what I was looking for and she transferred me, and I left a voicemail for Michael. Im still going to give the actual business a try, but I wanted to make sure and bring this to the owners attention, so that the young lady who answers the phone understands that if she keeps treating customers like that, they will not be a successful business much longer. Hopefully my dealings with the actual sales and installation professionals will go much better.

It went extremely well. My car was trapped inside the garage when the spring broke. I called at 7 am and was able to get a same day appoint. Ron the technician called as scheduled when he was 15 minutes from my house. He immediately diagnosed the problem. Another technician had worked on my garage in 2011. I could not recall what part had been fixed at that time. He had the notes with him and clarified a different part had been fixed. He fixed the door very quickly. He was professional and polite. He even went the extra mile and added some screws to the bottom of the door where the rubber seal had become detached from the bottom of the door and was coming loose. Now my door works great and looks nice too! Thank you Ron and Crawford door.

They were very prompt and professional. They even saved me money by having me bring in my garage door remote as opposed to coming out and charging me a service fee. I was very pleased with the work they've done for me and will use them again in the future.

The service went great. They did a good job and the pricing was fair. They were very responsive and will be back out to replace the garage door opener. They came out about 4 hours after calling for the service and completed the job in about 1 hour. The technician was knowledgeable and was great at explaining everything to me.

A cable broke on our overhead garage door leaving it partway up and angled with the rail stuck and bent. It wouldn't go up or down. I called Crawford in the morning and they were able to repair the door that afternoon. The technician went to work and had it operating in 30 minutes. He said he sees this all the time and had no trouble fixing it. He replaced both cables and adjusted the door and rollers. It works like new. I had used Crawford one other time when a spring broke and that job went well also. I found them on Angie's List.

We scheduled an appointment with RIck for an estimate on a garage door replacement. My husband left work early to be here. Rick was a no show. We called to find out where he was and he said he got stuck in the office and forgot to call to tell us he couldn't be here. Oops. No show, no call, no business from us.

Terrible. They were on our property twice. Once they finished the wiring the garage door worked OK for a few days but then it stopped working. I called them back and the technician was extremely rude and passive aggressive. It appeared to me that he was talking down to me, mostly to make sure that they do not have to cover the cost of this repair as a part of 'warranty' of their previous work. I will not have them do anything for me again.

It did not go well, not sure if the job was too small for them or what, but if that was the case an honest answer and response would have been appreciated so we did not waste our time with them waiting for the estimate.

The garage door was not working. The technician came to our house promptly, diagnosed the problem as a broken spring, replaced with a new spring, checked out the system, and greased parts. He did honor the Angie's coupon. We did not phone other companies as Crawford seemed professional on the phone and was able to come right out. We do not have other bids for comparison but we are satisfied with the price and workmanship.

Repair went great, the guy came on time and quickly fixed the door and made it operational. They charged appropriate price for the replacement part as compared to other who i talked to. A set of Pulley cables normally cost $10 a pair and others were asking anywhere from $30 to $60 + labor.

Installer showed up on time, finished the job in the stated amount of time, and explained how to use the new openers. Everything works great. The unsatisfactory part: the cleanup was not what I would have expected. A stripe of oil down the center of each garage door, bits of plaster and wire on the floor of the garage. A cigarette butt on the lawn outside the garage.

Had a new garage door installed. Rick was really nice and came out in a timely manner. Installed garage within same week I requested. Hauled old garage and opener away.

The technician who arrived to fix the garage door was on time and prompt. He saw the issue right away and said it was pretty routine, and the springs that broke on our garage door were quite large and had a lot of tension on them. He replaced the springs with new ones, and then inspected the operation of our garage door. It was very creaky, so he took out and showed me the special lubricant spray they used and sprayed every single wheel and inter-locking mechanism. He also pointed out that the weatherstripping at the bottom of the garage door was in rough shape (it was falling apart in one spot) and asked if I would like to replace it as well. I said yes, and in the end Crawford Door didn't end up charging me for the material (or the time it took the tech to install it). I don't know if that was a clerical error, or just being really nice. But either way, very happy with the service and the garage door is still running strong!
