Complete Custom Painting

I was very pleased with the whole process. Nick, Jorge and their crew were outstanding. They were thorough and complete in the estimate, washing, sanding and painting. I will call on them again for any future projects.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List. They people were very nice. It was difficult for them because there was such a response to it and they were very busy. He did some other work during the summer months that kind of kept him from being able to take the painting jobs. So it was a little difficult to schedule, but they did a good job for the most part and were easy to work with. There were a couple of places were they missed spots that were pretty obvious. A little bit of it seemed kind of rushed, but they did a lot. Overall, we were satisfied and they were very friendly. I did not pay anything other than the big deal purchase. We had all the paint and everything, and all the supplies. We had some other little spots that they did nicely and somethings that I had not originally said and they were happy to do it. So, on the whole they did a very good job.

They did an amazing job. I purchased a deal for two painters for a day. The living room was completed with the walls looking perfect in Philadelphia Cream, the trim a nice glossy white, and the ceiling a lighter shade of the wall color. Great attention to detail, no errors, no mess. They didn't finish the basement but taped it and gave it two coats (I should have purchased primer!). I actually enjoyed finishing it, as it was all set up and ready to go. I'd rather have an incomplete job of excellent work, than a rushed job with poor results. Would definitely rehire (nice guys too!).

He was on time, professional but I am still gathering some quotes for the job I need done.

Trevor came at the agreed upon time. He asked what we were having done and we walked through the two rooms. He then began patching the walls and taping the woodwork. He noticed a crack in the ceiling in one room and offered to fix it even though we were not having the ceiling painted. He did an excellent job on the patch and it does not show at all. Nick came a little later than he had planned because he had a meeting but we had talked about the meeting before that day. They both began priming and painting the rooms and closet. They worked well together and were able to finish both rooms and the closet. In one room I had a accent wall that was a different color than the rest of the room. We were very pleased with the results of the painting and the amount that they finished in the 8 hours. It was a humid day and even though we had the air conditioning on, it took the paint longer to dry than usual. I was very pleased with the paint that Nick had recommended we buy. They cleaned up after the job was done. We feel that we had a quality job done and would definitely want to work with them again.

I hired them to paint two room a couple of months ago. They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. Seemed pretty experienced and professional. Would use them again.

The owner and workers were polite and courteous. The price estimate I received was prompt and reasonable. Work began soon after I accepted the bid. Preparation (power washing, taping of windows and doors, caulking, scraping) was excellent and done promptly. Actual painting was done in two days. The painters cleaned up after the job was done. Start to finish was six days, which included a Sunday.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and they did a great job. One thing I would say that when they were done painting at the very end is when they said, well you would owe us some money for supplies, and they did not say anything in advance. They did stay as long as what the deal was for and I was fine with that. I said no worries, I do not have anything else for you to do so you can just go and they said you would owe us money anyway. I did not give him anything, he just said since we did not stay the whole time we will just call it even. I was not even worried about it, as they did the paint job I needed done and I am good with that. So, it was kind of weird at the end. They did a real good job. They were present while they were here. Because of the way it ended, I do not know if I would refer them. Before that all happened, I said well I have some other painting that needs to be done and you guys did a good job if you can give me a call and we can schedule some time, but I never heard anything again.

Despite several rainstorms, the crew completed the job with high quality in a very reasonable amount of time. There were only minimal touch-ups (barely needed). A window pain was broken but the company replaced it immediately and paid the expense. Only a couple flowers were trampled in the whole process. Very good job!

Nick sent out two painters per the "Big Deal" I purchased ($499/2 Painters/1 day). It took a bit of time to connect on a date, as his availability was mostly limited to "Rain Days" as their primary business during the summer was outdoor painting. Nick was very fast and easy to communicate with and we eventually connected on a date that worked for both parties. The two painters arrived on time and got started promptly. I realize with an older home and a lot of original woodwork there was quite a bit of taping/masking involved. That being said, I am a bit disappointed with the amount of work two people over 16hrs could accomplish. The Living Room ceiling was painted without issue. The Living Room walls were painted and while the edging was fine, the majority of the walls ended up below my expectations. It appears they were improperly rolled (as I can see line marks from the edge of the roller), and, I assume due to time, inadequate coating was implied. I can see the old light blue color through the new white paint (framed by the edging work) and will need to go over this again to get proper coverage. The Dining room turned out ok, for what work was accomplished. I set out to have the ceiling, upper walls (about 20% of the wall), and wood panels painted. Unfortunately only the upper walls were primed and painted. While the painters did uncover some possible water damage or improper previous priming on the ceiling, their wasn't enough time to begin work on it. Again, I fully recognize some of the challenges an older home can prove. That being said, I definitely expected more than 1.25 rooms to be painted (with satisfactory work), which I in the end did not receive. I think I learned a lesson about "Big Deals," in that it pays to just get bids before hand to make sure the provider is able to properly price their work ahead of time (so both parties know what to expect)!

They were really nice and approachable.

Nick sent Trevor and Keith to do the lions share of the work. They were very careful to drape the walls with plastic and to protect the floors with canvas tarps. Keith scraped off the popcorn and kept the dust and mess well confined and to a minimum. Trevor had to repair cracks in my coffered ceiling which is 2 stories high and he did a great job. He also had to paint the rectangles inside the coffers a separate color and he was very patient when I questioned if I liked the color, which I did in the end! I really could not be happier with the job they did and I will definitely hire them again.

Fabulous! I can't say enough wonderful things about Nick and the quality of his work. Nick and his assistant were right on time and worked very hard all day. He is also a really nice guy. This was a "Big Deal" and it was an amazing value. I will hire Nick and his crew again the next time I need any painting done.

The job went great! We are very happy with the quality and the quantity of work that Nick and his assistant performed. They paid great attention to detail and did a professional job.

Nick was very professional and was very willing to work around my crazy work schedule in order to schedule my painting. He came to my house at 4:15am in order to walk around my house and have me show him what rooms I wanted painted and what colors before I had to leave for work. I was surprised when I came home to see that they had all the rooms painted and were just finishing up with last minute touch-ups. They did very well at cleaning up after themselves and I would definately have them back for future painting jobs.

They were prompt, thorough, and professional. Did perfect prep and clean-up. And, they completed ALL the work, even though they asked me to suggest more than they might be able to finish in the allotted time. Great job!

Two guys came for a days work or painting the ceiling and doors/trim per the Angie's List Deal. I was very impressed with their work that I hired them to come back two days later to fix the nail pops and paint the walls. Some repair work required additional drying time, so they came back the following morning to finish the touch ups. I would not have been able to do this myself.

The painters arrived on time. We reviewed the job and they got to work. The were professional, tidy and did a great job. I'm rather particular, but didn't find any fault in their work. I'll have them back again.

Excellent experience. One of the rooms had many areas that needed to be patched and smoothed and it looks wonderful now. Also came back to make sure the woodwork was cleaned off well.

We hired Complete Custom Painting and Restoration on their two painters for the day deal. The owner was very prompt in getting the time scheduled. The owner and his painting staff did a great job. They were thorough, hardworking, and polite. You could see that good customer service is a focus for them. They were very efficient and finished 4 rooms which exceeded my expectations since I was only planning on 2-3 rooms. The painters were very flexible to help move furniture when I added an additional room. Overall it was a very good experience and I will keep them in mind for future painting projects.

Nick and his team did a great job. Prework communication was timely and Nick took time to answer all of my questions. The team arrived on time and took the time to understand our desires and described their expectations so that we would be comfortable with their approach. We had them apply four different colors in various rooms including a very large red wall. Overall, it almost seemed too easy. Nick had communicated really well about what my expectations should be and what supplies where necessary. From start to finish things were smooth. No upselling, no games - great value from a talented team. I won't hesitate to call again.....
