Closets For Life

We're a busy family with jobs that require us to travel and be gone a lot, puts us in a challenging position to get anything done. We procrastinate on projects because of fear of having the painful experience of babysitting a project, following up on the project or calling on issues or concerns and not get a response. Emailed and called two other companies for a closet consultation on a Saturday. Rick called that very day! Never heard from one company and the third company responded only a week later. Outstanding customer service--By both Corbin and Rick. Outstanding quality work The closets are fantastic Efficient and prompt Had Rick also build a curved cut out desk top with shelving above For my 11 yo's room in a nook area that was not used. OUTSTANDING. OUTSTANDING!!! We could not be happier. Rick met with us for several hours to determine what he could do vs. empty promises. The design for the toy room and wine cellar (as you can imagine) were the most creative and now look incredible. The best part was his planning, organization an scheduling, There were no surprises, no showing up when we were not there, you get it. Perfect.

Great! Within a week of contacting him to adjust my closet organizers, he was out to raise the hanging bars, and did it totally free of charge. I contacted him about 14 months after they were installed.

Rick did a great job! He was on time and helpful and the closets are beautiful and so much more functional. I wish I'd had the closets redone years ago!!

CFL was outstanding from start to finish! They were always on time-responded to emails and phone calls right away from the detailed 3-0 schematics that were emailed to the craftsmanship at the installation this project was a very positive experience these guys are great!

Rick, the owner, was here to review project initially, took elaborate notes with numerous size calculations. Sent a detailed bid with precise drawings for each wall of the system and a price for the package. Out of 5 bidders on this job his was the most detailed and provided the shelves, rods, drawers to meet our needs for fitting the most items in an organized way. We went with the bid and several weeks later his install man, Corbin, and himself were out to do the install. Corbin did the most installation and did a very detailed assembly which took the entire day. The system looks great and we are pleased with the work!

Rick came out and measured the closet. An estimate was emailed. I was very impressed with the layout and design that was provided by Rick. Another gentleman came out to do the install three weeks later. He was very polite and did an excellent job.

Rick came out and gave a detailed plan and estimate for the closet design. Prior to the installation, Rick came out a second time to confirm the measurements. Good thing, because I messed up the dimensions for the contractor. Rick noticed this immediately, and instantly had an alternative design in mind. The installation was smooth and seamless. Corbin did the installation and even cleaned up afterwards-no trace of the job he did! The work is excellent, great quality, extremely professional and true to timelines. I hope we have an opportunity to do more closes in our home-and will definitely call Rick again!

After our initial in-home consultation, the closet drawings were emailed to me and presented in a very clear and concise manner. Rick's suggestion to study and tape up each closet's detailed drawing inside the existing closets really helped me visualize and fine-tune each closet's final design. The day before installation, my old organizers were taken down and this gave me the chance to do some touch-up painting. The installation was done neatly and precisely. The finished result is wonderful. I highly recommend the special color choices, drawers and baskets; they look very expensive.

Very pleased with service and with quality of product. Rick came to house and provided very detailed estimate and 3D drawings so it was easy to visualize what he was recommending. He asked good questions, and did a great job assessing how we utilize the storage space to design solutions that work for us. Our master bedroom closet is a bit of a challenging layout due to the size and shape, but he was able to design a solution that maximizes the space and is very easy to use. Installation went extremely well, very professional and courteous and cleaned everything up perfectly including making sure no sawdust was left behind. Would definitely recommend this company and use them again when we are ready to organize more space!

Working with Rick and Closets for Life was exactly as the other reviewers had stated. He was extremely professional, punctual, did great work, and was so easy to work with. He always followed up, arrived on time, and set the right expectations. I find that many times people who own their own businesses in this field can either be really good at their craft or really good at communication, but not both. Rick is the exception. He is flexible, great at communicating, checks in with you, and does great work. Not only did he think of absolutely everything, he also made some additional suggestions on the mudroom that really tied everything together. It is no surprise that he is rated so highly. Both Rick and the other guy he brought with him seem like genuinely great people who are extremely talented in what they do. I also have a concern with hiring anyone I don't know and letting them in my house, but with Rick there are absolutely no concerns. If I need any additional work done, I will definitely be using him again. He is without a doubt the best contractor I have ever used.

They charged a high price, but they did an excellent job. The crew was very professional and punctual, they provided several samples and design possibilities, and they cleaned up after themselves.

Everything from the initial consultation, design and installation of our three custom closets went very smoothly. Rick initially came over and listened to our needs and was very receptive to any ideas we had regarding the closet design. The final design was perfect and within a couple of weeks we were able to schedule an installation date. Rick and one other installer arrived at our home on time and the installation took a couple of hours per closet. They cleaned up all work areas nicely. But the real story is in the quality of the shelving, these shelves are very sturdy and will not doubt hold up for many years. We would not hesitate to use Closets For Life for another shelving project.

The entire process went extremely well. Rick was very prompt in responding to our initial query. He was professional and responsive throughout the entire process. Everything that he said he would do, he did. The actual installation went seamlessly and the closets look great, we would highly recommend working with Closets for Life!

Based on the layout of the loft, the space available for an entry closet was more shallow than normal. Rick was able to design and install a closet that fit the space and provided all the options we wanted. He is very professional, timely, respectful, and did great work!

The increased efficiency is incredible, This is the second time we used Closets for Life, and we are even more pleased. He did exactly what he said he would do. He is considerate, organized, efficient.

I'm writing this review a little late, and I wasn't home at the time of installation, but it went without a hitch. I think Rick was at our home for an hour, max, and the job was done. Since everything was pre-cut and measured out, all he had to do was mount it. We'd definitely recommend Closets for Life, and we may use him again for some of our other unfinished closets in the house!

Rick followed through and the job went very well. Very reliable, work was high quality, done on time, and was spotless when done. This was easy and we love the result.

Rick was good to work with, our time frame and requirements were good with two exceptions. The hardware on drawers, guides and glides were sub-standard (cheap). The design of the window was not what we wanted (was free standing, we wanted built-in) and there was no offer to rectify it.

The Closets for Life person was very attentive from his first visit to take measurements through the installation. The closet pieces were custom made (and the product color matched my woodwork) for my closets with high ceilings. All spaces were optimally used. I am very pleased with the results. The entire process from the measurements and estimate to the installation was a little more than two weeks.
