WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO KEEP FAN FROM FURNACE ON AT ALL TIMES. LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER CITY WIDE CLEANED THE DUCTS, THE MOTOR FOR THE FAN BURNED OUT FROM OUR FURNACE. WE CALLED AND SPOKE BOTH WITH JULIE AND A MALE AT CITY WIDE, WHO BOTH DENIED ANY CONNECTION WITH THE FAN SUDDENLY BURNING OUT. WE CALLED A HEATING COMPANY WHO CAME OUT AND HAD TO REPLACE THE FAN. WE WERE INFORMED BY THEM THAT THERE MAY BE A CONNECTION BETWEEN THE DUCT CLEANING AND THE FAN BURNOUT. WE AGAIN SPOKE TO CITY WIDE IN AN ATTEMPT FOR SOME COMPENSATION; THE RESPONSE THAT WAS GIVEN WAS THAT THERE SYSTEM WAS SUPERIOR, THAT THEY BLOCKED OFF THE AREA THAT CONNECTED TO THE FAN.
Description of Work: DUCT AND VENTILATION SYSTEM CLEANED IN 1160 SQUARE FOOT CONDOMINIUM.

ANOTHER JOB HAD TAKEN THEM LONGER THAN EXPECTED, BUT THEY DID CALL TO LET US KNOW. THEY DID LEAVE SOME OF THEIR EQUIPMENT ATTACHED TO OUR ELECTRICAL BOX. WE HAVE CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD HAVE SOMEONE CALL AND STOP BY TO REMOVE IT. THAT HAS NOT YET HAPPENED. THE DUST IS A LOT LESS SINCE THE VENTS WERE CLEANED AND WE ARE ALL FEELING LIKE WE HAVE MORE ENERGY NOW AND NOT SO TIRED A LOT OF THE TIME.

THE FOLKS ON THE CREW WERE YOUNG, ONE WAS IN TRAINING. BUT THEY KNEW HOW TO PERFORM THE WORK, AND TO KNOW THEY HAD FOUND A PROFESSIONAL FUTURE IN HVAC. THE LEAD MEMBER OF THE TEAM WAS AS COURTEOUS AS HE KNEW HOW TO BE.
Description of Work: WORKERS ATTACHED VACUUM HOSE TO FURNACE BY CUTTING A HOLE IN FURNACE DUCT. THEN A STRING TRIMMER ON A LONG FLEXIBLE ROD WAS INSERTED INTO EACH DUCT TO LOOSEN UP THE GUNK. THE ROTARY WHIRLING ROD ALSO HAD A REVERSE ACTION TO FURTHER CLEAN THE DUCT. AFTER EACH DUCT WAS ROTO-ROOTERED, A METAL PLATE WAS ATTACHED OVER THE HOLE IN THE FURNACE DUCT, AND AN ANTIBACTERIAL SANITIZER WAS APPLIED TO THE SYSTEM TO KILL REMAINING BACTERIA, ETC. WE WERE ADVISED TO EXIT THE BUILDING FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR FOLLOWING THIS PROCEDURE, AND TO EXPECT DUST OUTSIDE EACH VENT FOR A FEW DAYS FOLLOWING THE WORK. WE WERE FURTHER ADVISED TO RUN THE FAN CONTINUOUSLY FOR THE HEALTH OF THE SYSTEM AND THE FOLKS IN OUR HOME.

JULIE WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL SETTING UP AND CHANGING APPOINTMENT. CREW WAS EARLY. CREW WAS POLITE, BUT IN A BORED-FROM-DOING-THIS-SO-MUCH WAY. CLEANUP AFTER JOB WAS MARGINAL - THEY FORGOT TO PUT A COUCH BACK AND WE HAD TO VACUUM MANY AREAS. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL IN ADJUSTING THEIR PROCEDURE TO ACCOMMODATE US KEEPING OUR PETS IN A CLOSED ROOM.
Description of Work: CLEANED ALL AIR DUCTS (30 RETURN AND SUPPLY) IN OUR HOUSE. TESTED FOR CARBON MONOXIDE.

THEY REALLY REALLY MADE AN IMPACT IN THE ELIMINATION OF DUST. GAVE US A THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF PROCEDURES AND OF THE PROBLEM. THE PEOPLE WERE PERSONABLE AND FRIENDLY. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.
