He came the first time and I gave him a priority list. That was great. He priced out a couple of larger projects and I hired him to come back and do those. All and all it was a great experience. Very trustworthy, very professional, no "ick" factor. As a woman, I always worry about letting people in my house. I felt safe with him here and he didn't give me any "ick" feelings.

Chuck provided a range of very beneficial services. The quality of work was great and the rates charged were great, which made the value outstanding.

Not good... I took time to go the place where the work needed to be done, based on his appointment system. He did not show up, then blamed the system, which is his own !! And then declined to come.. He wasted my half day....

Chuck is very professional, punctual, and always easy to communicate with. He will do whatever you need of him. He also gave me advice on what needed to be done as well which was very helpful. I will hire Chuck again when I need something done around the house. He's very reasonable and the quality of work is very high. I highly recommend Chuck.

In my case it was a rental house. I did not know Chuck before. He quickly responded to my phone call and text. He showed up on time at the house. He explained to me and the tenant how he would fix the drywall and carpet, and when he would be able to start. His quote was very reasonable and I agreed at that time. He returned next week and got the job well done. He emailed me the quote before he started and the invoice when he was done. I would recommend Chuck to people I know.

The patio was covered in old paint and grime after being ignored for years. Chuck used his commercial power washer and quickly removed paint and dirt. The patio looked new!

Chuck was on time and did the work for a very reasonable price - plus he identified some other issues with the bathroom duct work he was able to take care of in the same visit.

First, Chuck did not schedule enough time to complete the job. When it was incomplete within the time he scheduled it was very difficult and took a lot of persistence to get him to commit to a time when he would return. He uses an online scheduling system that he does not appear to manage well and appears grossly overextended in the amount of jobs he takes on. Part of his contract was to reinstall my garage shelving. While he did repair an extra crack in the drywall this did not come close to the work he left me with to reinstall all of the shelving myself. He made no adjustment in the price for this. During the job he asked me to buy paint and molding for the window. I was going to Home Depot and was happy to do this favor for him. The price of the materials was included in his bid. I bought the moderate priced exterior paint recommended by the paint specialist. Not the most expensive and not the cheapest. Chuck refused to pay the full amount of the paint because he included only the price of Menards' very cheapest interior paint in his bid. The paint specialist at Home Depot said using interior paint in a garage was wholly inappropriate due to the temperature changes and moisture. He refused to budge on this. When he ran out of paint he also asked me to purchase another gallon which I did. He refused to pay for this as well and only agreed to pay $15 out of the $30 for the paint after much arguing. He also refused to pay the $10 I spent on extra molding he asked me to pick up and then used when that was also part of his materials bid. He used a new paint sprayer to do the garage for the first time. According to the paint specialist, he used much more paint than what was required, a sure sign of which is that there was streams of paint running down the walls after he sprayed them, which had to be later smoothed out. Clearly, he thought he would walk in, spray the garage in an hour or two, and leave. Using the sprayer turned out to be more difficult than he expected and he was there longer than he expected. He also refused to paint the interior unfinished trim around the garage door which I had to pick up a brush and do myself. This job did not go as he envisioned and as a result he took it out on his customer. He was persistently rude, unreasonable, and displayed an attitude that no one would want in their home from someone they hired to do a job. He also did not clean up after the job. He picked up his own stuff but left me with paint on my sidewalk, driveway, and garage floor. There was also overspray on the garage floor beneath the wall. While spraying he did not adequately cover the floor or all of my possessions which were piled in the middle of the floor. The atomized paint spray got into virtually everything in the garage.. At the end he asked me if he could use my shopvac. When I told him that it needed a filter he acted exasperated as if it was my responsibility to have a shop vac to clean up after my painter. I had used Chuck one other time for a small one hour job and that went fine. I would not use him again because of all of the problems with scheduling, job completion, and just plain attitude.

He did a great job. He put my mind at ease with his explanations. I am certain that I could have completed most of the work on my own, but I was under tight deadline and Chuck was able to get the job done in a timely manner.

Really well, quick and no issues. Repair was made very well picture was hung very well also.

Chuck was fantastic! He came up with a very reasonable solution and consulted me along the way. The end result is exactly as we'd hoped - we have the clearance needed for the appliances, and it looks fantastic. In addition, Chuck is courteous, friendly, and professional. It was obvious that he takes pride in his work, and I felt he treated my home the way he would have treated his own. I will definitely be reaching out again for future projects.
