+ -1 moreThe auger was jammed, the engine ran rough, the electric start just rattled and didn't engage. They cleaned out the "varnish" from the old gas, tuned it up with new parts, and freed the auger (it was ice). Their pickup and delivery service is cheaper than another small engine repair place I called, perhaps because it is apparently only once a week (which isn't quite often enough in my opinion). They did, however, repair it between the pickup and delivery so I was without it for only a week. When I stopped by their shop to pay for it before delivery I mentioned the electric start problem. When it was delivered a couple days later the delivery guy said they had checked it out and it was a loose bolt which they had fixed at no additional charge. Note: they said today's gas goes stale after only thirty days so you need to use fuel stabilizer if you don't drain the gas tank dry.
