Description of Work: Converted from private well to city water. They completed the work in one day and had the water turned back on in a few hours. The use of directional boring reduced the required yard repair by 95%. Well worth the added cost.

Description of Work: Repaired the main sewer pipe as required by The City of West St Paul. |Lined the entire sewer with a Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) from the basement to the manhole located in the street. Cut the floor to access the piping then later patched the floor. Excellent work. The city inspector was highly complimentary of the work performed.

Description of Work: We had to have sewer line work per city code upgrade requirements. Capra was the lowest quote by far and as more information came out from the city, also sounded like they were a trusted company for these jobs. They responded to messaging promptly, arrived on time on our scheduled date, worked diligently and without issue, and cleaned up the area thoroughly. We would definitely use them again if needed.

Description of Work: Replaced sewer line from basement wall to edge of property line. Half the day was spent trying to locate the line and digging two extra trenches in the yard before the sewer line was found in the third trench. So, while all other factors went well, the extra trenches left quite a bit of torn up lawn to be restored...at my expense.

+ -1 moreAfter having repeated sewer backups, we decided to repair/replace the sewer line at our 1941 house through the City of Saint Paul's program which allows you to pay for the repairs over 20 years. We contacted several contractors for bids. The majority of solutions proposed involved digging up our front lawn and possibly the street in order to 1) replace the line completely or 2) jam 4" PVC into the existing 6" clay tile line. Capra's offered CIPP piping which could be installed with only a hole in the floor - saving us landscaping costs - and one heck of a big mess. Scott from Capra came and gave me the quote, he was on-time and explained the options clearly -- very nice guy. Mike Capra emailed me the quote and discussed the options with me some more on the phone. After awarding them the work, they came out and cleaned the line, videoed the line and prepared for the CIPP install. The crew was very nice, and kept the work area very clean for a very messy job. The installation of the CIPP the next day when extremely smoothly. They were onsite the majority of the day while the piping cured but hung out in their trailer parked on the street. When they were done, they patched the concrete floor and cleaned up. The concrete patch was not the best I have ever seen but is functionally fine. Billing and the paperwork with the city went fine. I have to say they were one of the easiest contractors I have ever worked with. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Capra's installed cure-in-place piping (CIPP) within our existing 6" clay tile sewer line, which was in bad repair and routinely clogged. This work included: cleaning and video-taping the line before the repair, breaking away part of the concrete floor in the basement to reach the sewer line, cutting into the line, installing a new cleanout and installing 100'+ CIPP. They also created a second video to demostrate compliance to the City of St. Paul, and replaced the concrete. The price included all permits and inspections required by the city.
