My kitchen metal mini-blinds hadn't been professionally cleaned in two years. They included one window and two blinds covering a patio door. They were filthy and I wasn't sure they could be salvaged. I dropped them off at Bright Blinds and a few days later Brent Ricketson delivered them to my home. The ultrasonic cleaning made them look like new, which was amazing, because I installed them in 1983 when I built the home. I would not hesitate to use Bright Blinds for any blind cleaning project.

Consistent service as reported in other reports: returned phone call promptly; professional; quick appointment to pick up the blinds; restrung in his shop; and came back to hang 3 days later. Consulted and offered different options. Raising and lowering the blinds are working properly now. Worth the cost to extend the lifespan.

Brent showed up exactly on time, and took my shade back to his workshop to clean. It had a large water stain and was generally dingy all over. He returned precisely when he said he would, and rehung the shade. It looked as good as new. The price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend him to others and will use his service again in the future.

Brent promptly returned my call (I had mentioned that I was an Angie's List member). He answered all my questions, asked me the sizes of my blinds, and then quoted me his standard price per blind dependent upon size--less a 10% Angie's List discount. He scheduled my appointment to accommodate my out-of-town guests arriving the following week; and he agreed to turn my job around in a single day so that I wouldn't be left with exposed windows throughout my townhouse overnight. I felt that he was going to great lengths to see that I was happy at the end of the day. He arrived on time, then efficiently removed my blinds with a marking system that allowed him to rehang them correctly when he returned. He was personable and friendly, and chatted with us about his other job (he's a St. Paul firefighter), his cleaning method (this process uses sound waves), and how he got into this business (watching his mother one day trying to clean her blinds in the bathtub). He didn't want payment until he returned and had a satisfied customer, and I was happy to oblige by giving him a check rather than a credit card. He had warned me over the phone about the possibility of oxidation and/or paint removal on my 30-year-old blinds, and he repeated those warnings that morning. I appreciated his concern, but I assured him that I would be thrilled just to have my blinds back perfectly clean. And Bright Blinds certainly did just that!

I would highly reccomend Brent and his company Bright Blinds. He is very professional, and pleasant person. He made the whole process very easy. He went beyond just taking them to be cleaned - noticing that they needed some small repairs on top and took care of that as well. We were very pleased with this service provider!

I contacted Bright Blinds to clean three blinds and he came out the same day within 10 minutes to pick them up since he was close by at the time. I was getting new windows so those had to be installed and stained before the blinds could come back but Brent had them cleaned quickly - few days. He used injection extraction cleaning to clean absolutely filthy blinds where little bugs die and get stuck. There was also probably just dirt and dust. They were ugly. These blinds are hard to clean yourself. He did a great job. They look white and new again. He also installed them in the new windows, drilling holes for the brackets since the windows were new. Two of the windows were high up second level, so he had to use a tall ladder. He even installed two blinds that I had not had cleaned. Very nice and professional. If those bugs come back, I will be contacting Bright Blinds again.

They did very well. The end project was great. They are very friendly.

Everything went great! Brent is a real professional, and a nice guy :-) He explained the process to me, and told me how to care for my blinds. I can't believe he got them so clean! He did such an amazing job, that I joked with him and told him I thought these blinds belonged to someone else! haha

My 10 large, floor to ceiling silhouette shades were covered with concrete construction dust. Brent was originally going to clean them in my home but when he started he said they were too dirty and that he wanted to take them to his shop. This meant an additional two hours taking the shaded down, two more hours rehanging them plus driving them to and from his location about 20 miles away three times rather than the expected one time. He needed to clean one of the shades 4 times to get all the dirt out. Brent called me several time to update me on the progress of the shades. He was great, the shades look great. He did a wonderful job and was a pleasure to work with.

Wonderfully! After checking Angie's List to see who was recommended for blind cleaning, I called the company where I purchased my blinds. They recommended Bright Blinds--which was on "The List" so it was a no-brainer. I called Bright Blinds and spoke to Brent who knew exactly what kind of blinds I was asking about. He was knowledgeable about Hunter Douglas's product, the particular blinds I had, and most importantly, their recommended cleaning process. He explained this cleaning process and gave me the exact charge for the cleaning. He offered to come out the next day, but was happy to come out a few days later that worked better for me. Brent was prompt, professional, and just a pleasant person to be doing work with. It was shocking to see how dirty the water was when he was finished! And while my blinds weren't in terrible shape to begin with, I was amazed at how much brighter--how WHITE!--they were when they were cleaned. I'm so glad I had this done and I sure picked the right company!!

Brent came to our home to give an estimate of the cost to clean badly stained silhouette, bedroom blinds and also to determine which cleaning method would give the best result, on-site or in-store. He was very prompt. The blinds had set-in stains from smoking and also water stains from leaving the windows open when it rained. He opted to clean the blinds in the store. Because the blinds were so badly stained he said he could not guarantee all the stains would come out. (He could have opted to clean on-site which is more expensive). He removed the blinds and called a few hours later to say they were done! He reinstalled the blinds and the results were absolutely amazing. ALL STAINS WERE GONE! The blinds looked brand new. I really thought the blinds were beyond help, but Brent worked miracles. We could not be happier and would absolutely recommend Bright Blinds. Brent was punctual, courteous, professional and I expected to pay much more for such outstanding work!

I had several blinds in a rental unit that were in bad need of cleaning. Brent returned my phone call promptly and gave me a good idea of what the work would cost right over the phone. Brent came out to my apartment building, removed the blinds, and took them off site for cleaning. Two days later he brought my blinds back and hung them back up for me. The results were amazing! I could not believe that all those years of nicotine and grime came off! Brent surpassed my expectations with both his professionalism and quality of work. He saved me time and money and I highly recommend his company.

It was amazing how clean they were when finished! He came and picked up the blinds at my house and returned them the following day. I had tried cleaning them myself before but when he brought them back, they looked like new again. Very friendly and prompt to return calls. Was able to meet my schedule for pickup and returns.
