BOVEE INSPECTION SERVICES

He did a Truth in Housing inspection on our home. It is required in the city of St Paul. We did not pick who came out to inspect. He took about half an hour to inspect our rambler. When we got the report he stated that we did not have a C.O.2 monitor Which we did. He also stated that our electrical was not grounded inside the house. Which it is. My wife is a journeyman electrician we would have known. He said that he could not access the attic do to stored items in closet. I had emptied the closet out in the morning so he could look at the new insulation the we put up there. Yes we have an older home with some problems so I understand getting it inspected. Just not by this company. By the this inspection was ordered by the city to protect low income people from buying unsafe homes.

We were referred to Roger by our Real Estate Agent. When contacted, he scheduled our inspection for within 36 hours. He was very prompt and showed up on time. He was very efficient in his survey of the house and was done completely within an hour including printing multiple copies of the report. I trailed him around the house while he inspected. He was very polite and answered questions and responded to comments, but he wasn't a chatterbox. I was comfortable with him in the house. He pointed out all of the same things that I had not fixed that were in the report when I purchased the place as well as some others. My broker showed up while he was here, and they talked like old friends. I'd be very happy to use his services again.
