I had Bluhm Brothers grade the soil around a corner of my foundation about 15 years ago because I was getting water in the basement. The basement had stayed dry until the heavy rains we had at the end of the summer. Over the years, much of the soil had washed away and water was pooling near the foundation. Eden came out and recommended that we also put new sod along the side of the deck where a fence had been removed and the grass was spotty. The work was done on time and as promised. Hope it lasts for another 15 years!

Amazing, as always. This is the fourth time I have used Bluhm. They are very professional and their work is of the highest quality. I have absolutely no reservations recommending them. The neighbors can view the patio and landscaping via a public access path near my home, and I have received many compliments about the work. All work was completed on schedule, with only minor delays due to weather.

They did a fantastic job and I'm very pleased with the results. They were very careful and meticulous. This was a big job (almost 3 weeks) and I was impressed that they had all the equipment, tools and manpower to get it done.

This is the second project we have contracted with Bluhm Brothers and doubted we could be more satisfied than we were with the first, but we were! They were able to start the job BEFORE scheduled and got it done in shorter timeframe even though we adjusted plans mid project. The team works seamlessly together and their craftsmanship once again exceeded our expectations! They also worked very well with a deck builder to make sure that both aspects of the project were perfect!

These guys were great. First, they always showed up when they said they would. I so appreciated that aspect as my time is important too. They were professional in language, in dress and in general. When I would look outside to see what they were doing the entire team was working. I never saw anyone standing around doing nothing or smoking. They seemed to work as a unit and supported each other. The man who did the front brick area was a perfectionist. He took his time to get it right and the result was nicer than I envisioned. I was often consulted when small questions popped up. They never just went ahead with any task without making sure that we were on the same page. I wish these guys did more than outdoor projects. I would hire them in a nano-second to do my bathroom too.

They were great. It started with Manny. He listened to what were were looking for and put together the quote to take care of everything we needed. When it came time to do the work we were thinking that it would wait until June, but they had a rescheduled appointment and immediately let me know. The crew showed up and got all the work done in one day. Everything was cleaned up and looks good. Really happy with the overall experience. We plan on going to them again when we start the next step on our landscaping plan.

These guys were very professional from start to finish! We experienced rain delays, but Manny always made sure I knew where we were on their schedule. They send a larger crew than most (hence the estimate coming in a bit higher than others) and all the equipment needed to knock the job out quickly, and they are very efficient. The whole thing took about an hour and a half and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. I'll definitely use them again when I have the need.

The Bluhm brothers are very personable and clearly know their job. They hire excellent crews who finish work quickly and with a high level of quality. Unfortunately, there was one side of our home that, when completed, looked incomplete and undefined. As it was the side that shared a property line with the neighbors, we asked them to landscape it just as they had the rest of the home. After emails back and forth that took quite a long time, it never got resolved. That said, we felt the overall work was done very well. We just remain disappointed they didn't edge that side of the house like they did the other sides, but left it rather loosely covered with mulch. I would use them again, but I would make sure to be home when the work was complete to ensure it was done to our satisfaction.

Called for an estimate on Tuesday and Manny came out the next day to do an estimate. Gave good suggestions for placement of patio. He wrote up the estimate while there and I decided to go with them. He said they would be able to start the next week. Manny returned on Friday with Jared, one of the Bluhm brothers. They had samples of of the block with them and we decided on a random pattern for the patio. They asked if it was OK to start on Monday and I said sure. Monday, the crew showed up about 8AM and got right to work. Because of the small size of my yard, everything had to be done by hand. There were 6 guys in the crew and they worked together like a well oiled machine. i could tell they had been on the crew together for some time. They completed to patio on Monday. On Tuesday, Jared return with 2 workers to assemble the pergola. I had a deck box and potting bench in my garage that needed to be assembled and they volunteered to assemble those for me too. I was very impressed with the workmanship and would not hesitate to call Bluhm Brothers. Now I wish it would quit raining so I can use my new patio.

The sales rep arrived at the appointed time. He gave a thorough assessment of the work to be done and provided a detailed written estimate. The work was scheduled in an exceptionally timely manner. The sales rep arrived with the crew to be sure the work was clearly understood and got off to a good start. The work was performed by an oversized crew in order to get the work done as quickly as possible. The work was directly overseen by one of the partners who made sure everything was done satisfactorily. The work to remove the play area was added by a change order that they accommodated in a very efficient manner. all work was performed in 1 1/2 days including the added play area work. I am very, very satisfied with their quality, timelyness, cooperativeness and professionalism. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends & family. They were great to deal with.

He promptly returned all calls, provided me with a detailed description of the work that needed to be done. provided me with a couple of options and communicated with me throughout the entire project. I am very happy with the work that was done. It looks beautiful. The work was done professionally and promptly. The work was completed in 4 days. Cleanup was thorough and done every day. They were respectful of us and of the neighbors. They were very careful and the quality is quite good. The Bluhm brothers are easy to communicate with and helpful also. They were very careful of everything and the quality of the work is quite good.

We were very happy with the results. It is so nice to look out at our yard and see everything looking so nice instead of a bunch of projects to do. Really wonderful job! Catherine on the sales team provided excellent suggestions for plants to replace the scrubs we removed. She was what you want in a sales person - knowledgeable and not pushy. She was a pleasure to work with. John and his crew were very professional. The job was bigger than I think they had anticipated so they brought in another crew to finish the job in one day as promised. They did all the weeding by hand and respected my wishes to use no chemicals which I am sure made it a much harder job. We also had a sizable hill to contend with and they accomplished it all with a great attitude. I would highly recommend the Bluhm Brothers!

Manny was my contact and was always available or quickly returned my phone calls. We had landscaping all around our house. Mulch has been used but the mulch was gone in many areas and the weeds had taken over. We decided to remove the mulch and put rock in. We had a few areas that we wanted the plants removed and just rock put in or plants just along the border. It was going to be a two day job but because of expected rain they brought in multiple crews in and got it done in one day. They listened to what we had to say made some suggestions on plants that might not work in rock. They helped think out the placement of the plants. We really liked that they removed the plants that we were keeping and really got the weeds out then put them back in.They really listened to what we had to say and what we were really looking for or expecting to have done. They cleaned up very nicely even brought there own prota-potty! Everyone was very nice and professional

The work went well. They came on the day they planned to, kept in touch with me about the details, picked up plants at Gertens for me the day before, and even noticed an area of patio that needed to be regraded so it sloped away from the house. The result looks great.

As usual Bluhm brothers are very good to deal with. Good communicators, did good work - much better than by another contractor who really bungled the job. I highly recommend them and wish we'd gone with them for other jobs we've been disappointed with.

We contacted Bluhm Brothers around September 29th This was really short notice and did not expect we could get on anyone's schedule but thought we would try. We got a call back from Manny at Bluhm Brothers the same day! Manny was very responsive to all our questions and suggested we look at plants at Gerten's. He even offered to pick them up and deliver them to our home. We were scheduled for the 8th of October. The guys showed up on the 6th of October (2 days early) and went right to work. They removed old sod and existing plants (which were saved fro replanting). They prepped the planting beds and planted the new and existing plants exactly where I wanted them. The crew worked fast and did a fantastic job! They had left an area open so our contractor could bring in topsoil for the sod then came back on the 8th to complete the mulching of that area. The guys at Bluhm Brothers went above and beyond to get the job done quickly. We even got some guidance for the front yard and will definitely be calling Bluhm Brothers next year!

Perfectly. Bluhm Brothers arrived on time with a large crew. They removed the old wall and added a new much nicer wall on time and on budget. 10/10 we'd happily hire them again for any landscaping project.

Hiring the Bluhm Brothers was the best thing we have ever done for our home. In fact, employing this company was the most satisfying customer experience we have had of any kind. That?s right! Initially, we had gotten estimates to replace a failing retaining wall running the length of our property, a seemingly thankless job. The competitive estimate from the Bluhm Brothers included figures for additional work on the yard: re-grading the uneven back yard which sloped off on one side; stripping the front yard of its root-snarled, exhausted turf and concrete front path; installing new beds, edging, mulch, and sod; planting new small trees and shrubs of our choice; and installing a brick path to the front door. Are we ever glad we went with the Bluhm Brothers and with the job in its largest scope. Our little bungalow had been hard hit in recent years, partly because of a storm that had toppled four pine trees in the front yard the previous year. In a little more than six days, the Bluhm Brothers did something remarkable, restoring curb appeal and charm to our yard and home. The centerpiece is the beautiful new brick path to our front door that ties it all together. Eden (the sales brother) advocated for it when we wondered if we should add it to a long list. Jared (the brother we worked most closely with) designed and built it with his crew. It hits just the right note-- inviting, sweet, and simple -- and immediately became the touchstone for our larger vision for restoring our home. What a fantastic return on our investment. And it wasn?t just the transformative work that we appreciate, it was also how the Bluhm Brothers went about the job. This is a family company that takes pride in their work. And in this case, one hand does know what the other is doing. Everyone contributed effectively and efficiently to a larger task, set each morning by Jared. He did a great job of marshaling his crew and of working with us, as well. He is also a true craftsman, both creative and thoughtful, attentive to small details and the larger vision. We so appreciated his integrity and his desire to do the best job possible. He is just the kind of person you want for a job like this! Each day ? all day, the crew worked hard. And they were helpful and friendly to a man. One morning some members of the crew carried heavy log benches to the yards of neighbors. Someone even came to meet me at Gerten?s garden center on another morning to deliver hand-picked trees for us in the Bluhm Brothers truck. They were flexible. Instead of their customary mulch, they cheerfully picked up and ?installed? compost from a different supplier. Jared listened and responded to our requests as the job unfolded. As the project neared completion, they created and then improved upon a new landing for our back door (a problem we had assumed we would tackle at some later point). And Jared came back after the main job was complete to further improve the grading in a tight spot near our back door. In the weeks since this work was complete, we have had countless people stop and give us a thumbs up? neighbors, friends and strangers; including school teachers, the UPS delivery person, a realtor who felt ?inspired,? and two boys walking home from school. They stopped to say it was ?cool.? We agree, wholeheartedly. If we relocate locally, we look forward to working with the Bluhm Brothers from the get-go. They have our highest possible recommendation.

Look no further for your landscaper! They made recommendations, said what they'd do and did what they said! John helped set up the sprinkler and stayed throughout the first watering. He explained how to care for the new lawn. They communicate!!! Eden and John Bluhm are very conscientious as are their hard working employees.

Wow, what can I say? These guys were FANTASTIC! From the original day when Eden came out to give us his quote on replacing the driveway and sidewalk, to Jaden actually finishing the job with his great 8-man crew! Eden was very direct about what we did and did not need in the actual estimate (such as not finishing off the stoop in pavers on our existing front steps, like others had suggested), which I very much appreciated.Plus, since our driveway was in such bad shape, we wanted to use it to dump rock on for landscaping and do that ourselves before our project was started, so told him we didn't expect to finish until the end of July (when we originally first contacted him in May). The next week after finishing our "rocking", we phoned and asked to be put on the schedule, and Eden had already set it all up for the following Monday! When Jaden and his crew came on Monday, I was impressed with all the equipment they had for moving the concrete and hauling it away. You could tell that Jaden cared about the quality of work he was doing and was constantly directing perfection on the job! Because they came so well equipped and staffed, the project, from start to finish, only took 4 days!! We've already had lots of neighbors complementing us on the beautiful driveway and sidewalk we have. So you can be sure, we will give Bluhm Brothers a call when another landscaping project comes up for us. Thanks guys!!
