Took it in and they said it would be about 3 weeks to fix. They were close to that time and it was fixed o.k.

I couldn't insert a shear pin into my snow blower auger shaft because I couldn't get the holes to line up. I took it in to this provider's shop. They told me that it would take 4 weeks. They actually had it done in 2 days and only charged me $12.99.

I had heard good things about Beisswenger's and my brother always takes his mower there for a tune-up so I thought I'd give them a try. I dropped off my lawn mower and my brother's on May 6th for tune-ups. The estimated completion date was 2 weeks on May 21st. I asked if they would be done any sooner than that and the service guy that was helping me said probably not, but that they were doing pretty good at making their 2 week estimates. I also indicated that I would like them to be able to pick them up at the same time, and the service guy said that would not be a problem. On May 23rd I called late in the afternoon to inquire about the lawn mowers. I was told my brother's was done and that mine was and quot;on the benchand quot; to be worked on first thing in the morning, and that it should be done between 8 and 9am. My brother went to pick up the lawn mowers the next morning. Mine wasn't ready when he got there, so he took his and planned on going back later in the afternoon to pick up mine. We went back at 2:30pm that day. My mower wasn't ready. I told them I was told it would be done that morning and the service guy helping me asked and quot;who told you thatand quot;, I said whoever was answering you phones yesterday afternoon. He then said they had warranty work that came in and had to be done. I asked if they had even started doing any work on it, and he said and quot;noand quot;. I told them to forget and give me my mower back. What terrible customer service - they lost 2 customers that day as my brother said he wouldn't go back either.

I've always used Beisswengers for lawn mower tune-ups and they have been excellent. Something is very wrong there now. They picked up my mower on April 20. I just got it back on May 25. I had to make several calls to get them to finish the service. When I got it back, they didn't do all I had asked them to do. In addition to the tune-up, I asked them to fix the back flap, but that was not done. Also, now I'm having a hard time turning off the machine. I've never had that problem before. I think they didn't properly test it before sending it back to me. As I mentioned, they used to do an excellent job. Sometimes it took a couple of weeks to get my mower back, but that was worth it. (Note that the price included pick-up and delivery of the lawn mower.)

They helped un loading and loading, and also said to run mower dry in the fall. I was glad for all info.

They did quality work at a good price. I brought in my mower on Tuesday, August 18 and my mower was ready on August 22.
