The work was completed satisfactorily. The main reason for the lower rating is that we'd signed the original agreement and sent 50% payment in April. Due to all kinds of problems (truck transmission failure, blower failure, family emergency, to name a few) the work was not completed until August 20.

Linda was great to work with in getting the estimate and deciding on what kind of windows to get. The carpentry crew that installed them did a very nice job.

Very nice and responsive. Received quote within 1 day's time after he received RO measurements. Would utilize in the future if window replacement comes up.

Beissel did a great job. It was difficult work at times but the end result was very professional. No problems encountered during the work, which was done by Beissel employees. We have used Beissel over the years for siding and other jobs. It is a local, family business and they have always stood by their work over the years. We have no reservations about recommending them.

After not hearing from Mr. Schlager for more than a week after my deposit was collected, I called him to ask him when the job would be completed. He noted that they were short on help and once again promised to talk to Jeff, the Gutter Installation Supervisor, and get back to me right away. He never did return the call. I subsequently contacted the office and expressed my concern that Beissel required a 50% down payment upon signing the contract, but had not communicated any installation time nor had Mr. Schlager returned my call with the information he promised. Mr. Schlager then called me back, liberally referring to me as "buddy", and asking me to "trust him" to get the work done. He did not seem to at all appreciate my desire to be at home when the work was done, nor to have any advance notice of when they would do it. He also did not seem to appreciate that I had just spent thousands of dollars on replacing basement rugs and was anxious to not get flooded again because my downspouts were not in place. Nevertheless, he again promised to talk to Jeff Zimmerman about the installation date and get back to me no later than the next day. I never received that call back. Once again, I went to the Beissel office requesting to talk to a manager. Incredibly, I was told that Mr. Schlager and Mr. Zimmerman took care of there own scheduling and any problems that arose. The person at the front desk promised to have Mr. Schlager and/or Mr. Zimmerman call me back. That was a Friday. I told her that if I did not hear from someone by Monday I would want my deposit back. I called Mr. Schlager again on Monday, but never received a call back. On Tuesday, I requested and received my deposit back without any problem. No one seemed even slightly concerned about the work cancellation nor made any attempt to address the situation. At no time did any other manager or owner talk to or make any attempt to contact me, despite my request to speak to someone who was in a managerial position. When you walk into Beissel's office the reception counter is lined with framed Angie's List Awards. I have no doubt that these were well earned at one time. Over ten years ago Beissel had replaced my siding, windows, and insulation at at cost of over $20,000. They did an excellent job. But this is not the same Beissel. I regret that I cannot continue to have a long term relationship with this local company. However, I cannot hire a company whose employees are not accountable to anyone or who don't think a continuing customer who is paying $1200 for a job is as valuable as one paying $20,000. Big or small, next time I have a job to be done I'll go to a company who values and respects their customers more.

They have a nice showroom and Brad was willing to spend a lot of time with me up front. He did an excellent job "selling" the product and the company. After we chose to go with their doors, I did not heard from him again. I got a call from the scheduler to set up our appointment to install the doors and the men came and installed the doors. Our back door threshold squeaks when stepped on it but the door itself is solid.

They were knowledgeable, perfectionists, creative, always on time. Loved them and would highly recommend them

Insurance did not cover all our costs . Beissel and the Insurance company differed on the type of procedure necessary for our MN winters and the type of roof we had & they would not pay for the up-cost of that work. Beissel from the start told us that if the insurance company did not agree to the additional cost of the work they would cover it and they did. This is the second roof we have had them put on for us on our 2nd home. They are all very professional and courteous.

These jobs were not all done at the same time but we did not belong to Angie List at that time. Jeff came to our house and gave us an estimate on a garage service door, a storm door and repairs to a broken seal on one of our windows. These were all completed in a timely manner and we were very satisfied. We called Jeff on another occasion because we thought we needed a new and more up-to-date small window in our garage. He came to our house, looked over the window situation and said we didn't need one! He could have sold us a newer one and just gone on. We cannot say how much his honesty was appreciated. We would definitely use Beissel again. They are good people!

Scheduled a estimate. The gentleman came out on time , gave me a folder with a couple of peices of info. I told him I want to replace all the siding, 5 windows, entry door, patio door, and garage service door. He acted like he wasn't interested. He said he was going back to the office and he would call in a few days. I told him I was getting other quotes. And he never called back. So thanks for nothing.

Services were provided on time in a professional manner and at a reasonable cost.

We pre-paid for the door and labor when we made our final selection. Only after I called and complained did they even give us a week timeframe on when they would show up. Our appointment was canceled twice and it took over 3 months for our door to be installed. We did not get an apology or any kind of discount even though we were promised it would take less than 4 weeks.

Wonderful! Really appreciate the work done. There was a very complicated corner, where the shed attached to the garage met. In the extreme heat (a few weeks after completion of the installation) the caulking became soft and the metal flashing pulled away, they came right out to fix it.

GREAT (and I use that word sparingly service, product, pricing, and integrity. Each time they came over a 3 year period (for me to spread the cost of replacing all my windows) they prepared me well for what would happen, were prompt, courteous, clean, and gave me exactly the product that I'd contracted for. I'd hire them again in a minute. Jeff Beissel deserves your business.

After research we settled on Beissel to replace some of the windows in our townhome. The windows were competitively priced and custom fit for our home. The installers were very professional, respectful of our home and did a great job installing the windows and making sure everything was cleaned up and back in place. We were very happy with the installation and new windows and we will be using Beissel again in the spring when we replace the remaining windows in our home.

The price was lower than competition. Installer professional. Everything went as planned.

Everything went well. Jack, my salesperson, listened to what I wanted and made helpful suggestions. The people who installed the windows came when they said they would. I was amazed at how little mess was left. I expected to have a house full of sawdust and plasterdust after the wall was cut for the new bay window. There was no dust at all. The windows were sparkling clean. I have had Beissel's do a lot of work on my home over the years and it is always done well. If a problem occurs, which it did this time when the company they ordered the windows from made the wrong type of windows for one of the bays, Jack is up-front in explaining the situation and corrects it as soon as possible. I trust them to stand by their work and they give great deals to returning customers. When I need work done on my house I don't even get bids from anyone else anymore because I know my mind will be at ease working with them. .

Replaced all my windows (35 year old single pane) with new vinyl windows. Very low pressure and pleasant sales experience. Installation crew showed up on time and were very thorough. Covered all floors with tarps. New windows went in in one day including a sliding patio door. The windows fit perfectly and the crew did an excellent job with the trim and caulking around all windows. Windows and door operate freely and smoothly. I am very pleased with the installation. Excellent service.I found one minor installation error which I called in and someone was sent out within three days to fix.

They did a great job. Josh who gave us an estimate was very good at explaining everything. We had the "Hardyboard" siding which is really nice stuff.

Other than a slight delay due the death of my company contact, Beissel was very responsive once they became aware of my order. The installers did a fabulous job of installing the windows, sealing off their work area so the rest of the room remained clean. They covered their shoes and cleaned up both the interior and exterior sides of my house. The installers were friendly and professional, and finished their job quickly, despite it being a very cold day outside. I am very happy with both their service and my windows.

From dripping windows last winter to not one single trace of moisture on any windows or patio doors this year !!!!!!

They showed up right on time. Installed everything perfectly. Cleaned up real nice afterwards.

Called Beissel Windows & Siding and left a message for John. When he returned my call, John explained what was needed on my part to have a warrantied piece of glass shipped to them for installation. When the glass arrived, an appointment was made and a glass technician came to my home and did the replacement. All the Beissel employees were very professional and pleasant, and the work performed was top notch!
