Beissel did a great job. The windows look much better than the old ones! They worked fast and efficiently.

We are so happy with our new steel siding, gutters, and storm windows from Beissel. Jordan was very responsive and extremely detailed in his communications. They were able to do all the necessary repairs before the siding and took care of getting painters to paint the foundation and all our trim. They went above and beyond in taking the time to help us do repairs on rotting wood to help make sure everything was in great shape before the siding went on and even helped out by climbing to the top of the chimney to repair minor details outside the actual scope of their work and helped me get second story windows cleaned while up on the ladder! We are very happy with our decision to use Beissel.

Bernie Jones had detailed and measured drawings and detailed prices when he presented his estimate. All contractors were excellent, professional and on the job as promised and any questions were answered promptly. Everything that was promised, was delivered. A pleasure to have them in my home. 5 years later, there have been no problems. Bernie is always available to answer any questions. Two of my neighbors, after seeing our remodel, have also had their kitchens remodeled. Our son has had work don in his 1931 home in Minneapolis. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Beissel has taken fabulous care of our vintage home for over 40 years. We used them again and again for all of our home repair and improvement projects. We have considered other contractors, but Beissel is always competitively priced and their service and craftmanship is the best. We could not be happier and recommend them highly.

We are very happy with the work Beissel did to replace our existing downspouts with larger 3x4s and add an additional downspout to deal with an improperly pitched gutter. They were by far the lowest bid we received for the work and they even we able to replace a few siding corners that had fallen off and gone missing - something other contractors we contacted said they were not able to do. We would absolutely hire them again.

Beissel was terrific throughout our projects. They provided quality combination windows, gutters, steel siding repairs and a kitchen and bath remodel in the summer of 2018. Their work crews were professional craftsmen, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. They worked with us to minimized the disruption that comes with a kitchen remodel. We found them to due great work at a great price.

Project did not exceed estimate. Our windows look wonderful and we have noticed our home is less drafty and we are less aware of exterior noise. Contractor matched color of trim to existing trim almost perfectly (no staining!). Work was done efficiently and with little disruption to our busy household. Winter installation posed no problem.

Very well. They came out and discussed our wishes, walked us through possibilities, and were good at the design and the implementation of our new kitchen. They'd flag the times we thought we wanted something but hadn't thought through the ramifications well. It's an absolutely stunning kitchen fitted smartly in a small footprint of our little home. We have used Beissel over the years for windows and siding, but have recently been using them as much for interior remodeling. They have now remodeled not only ur kitchen but both bathrooms. Strongly recommend!

It went excellent! They came out on time as scheduled, efficiently did the work, asked a few questions regarding how I'd like the trim to look, then left us with a stunningly beautiful front door entry with the complex trim in place. "Snug-as-a-bug" as my dad used to say. They've done work for us for now going on 25 years. Wonderful people. Stand behind their work. Nice to know we don't need to wonder how a project will go.

I had a remodel of kitchen and living room that included installation of new appliances, new countertops, new backsplash, removal of lamenant and carpeted floors, replaced with wood flooring, restoration of bay window, steps, painting, and installation of new lighting fixtures and ceiling fan. The process took a little longer than originally planned but the end result exceeded expectations. For the countertop and backsplash I was connected to an individual at The Tile Shop that assisted me my selection. The backsplash work when it was installed was exceptional. The space between the tiles was what was communicated with me and what my expectations expected. The countertops were also installed well. The only thing I wish I personally would have done differently would have been to place something in the cabinets under where the countertop was being installed because it was a little dustier than I was expecting when the work was completed. We ran into an issue with the ceiling fan and it was due to the fact that the fan I selected required a box be built into the ceiling. The issue was communicated clearly with me and it also addressed a concern that I had expressed at the outset, since my prior ceiling fan seemed unsecure. I had selected a solid wood color for the flooring and while Bernie was supportive of my home my choice he explained that because it was soft wood, scratches would be more pronounced. He ended up suggesting a different stain and wood that I went with and was absolutely pleased with. The bay window had seen better days and had some water damage. The restoration of this area was nothing short of a miracle. It looked brand new and perfectly matched the trim that was already around the windows. The last item that I would like to mention is the lights that were installed. I had water damage in one socket because it was previously installed incorrectly. This was fixed completely with the installation and I haven't had any issues since. The workmanship of the entire project was outstanding.

Excellent! Our house looks amazing and our entire experience was great. The salesman helped us determine the right product in a pressure free environment and the finished product looks amazing. The workers made sure every little detail was perfect and were very diligent in keeping a clean work area, which is important for a family with pets and young kids. Furthermore, when replacing the soffit under our entryway they added much needed insulation to make sure our daughter's room doesn't get too cold in the winter. The company was responsive to any questions we had and made this an amazing experience. We intend on having a few windows replaced in the near future and we can't think of a better family-owned company to give our business to.

I had them replace 5 old and rotting wood crank out windows and 2 patio doors with new vinyl sliders. It took a few months for them to get to the install due to how busy they were but everything went great. It only took them 2 days to install 5 windows and 2 patio doors and it was all done very professionally. The trim work they did looks great and they did a nice job cleaning things up afterwards.

Great job on our window! Even though a small one window project, service couldn’t have been better. Had other bids and was told only a full replacement could be done, awesome Lynda from Biessel came and said an insert would work fine. Lynda never pushed us, came in gave a bid, knew just what she was doing. Saved us $$. Then along came the installer with our window and she did a beautiful job, consulted us on trim and made sure we were happy with the result. All around happy here. Also put a smile on my face to think my Dad went to school with Jack who started Biessel many years ago. Jack even did work on my parents house.

What makes a company an outstanding company is it's customer service and how it responds to a situation where it has made some mistakes. Such was our experience with Beissel Windows and Siding. I had contacted them for an estimate on a bathroom remodel and was disappointed with the lack of communication that we had received. But when the owner of the company (Jeff Beissel) learned of my experience (through an Angie's List review that I have since requested be removed) he wrote me a very sincere letter apologizing for the treatment that I had received, and asked me for the opportunity to make the situation right. I was persuaded by his letter to give them another opportunity to bid my project. I am glad that I did. We were very pleased with both the quality of workmanship and the professionalism of everyone involved with our project. Steve Danger, the Project Manager, was very easy to work with. He offered helpful advise when we needed it, was readily available for any concerns and worked around our schedules to complete the project, allowing me time to do portions of the work. Choosing a contractor can be a difficult task. It involves placing a great deal of trust in someone that you may not have any experience with. Be confidant that Beissel Windows and Siding Company is a company of integrity. We all make mistakes, but it's how you handle those mistakes that set you apart. Absolutely awesome from my first meeting with Lynda Bartlett, who let me know what she could do for me without the least bit of hard sell. Felt comfortable with her honesty and professionalism from minute one. The crew did the removal of old windows and doors and installation in ONE day and it looks fantastic. My only complaint is not with Beissell but with the supplier Mon Ray. The windows are top quality but delivery was delayed over and over. All in all it was worth the wait.

The initial quote was quick and to the point without any high pressure buy-now type tactics, which I appreciated. A 10% off discount was provided without even having to ask. It took about 8 weeks for the windows to be installed, which was on par with other companies I talked to. The install team did a great job and cleaned up well. I'm very happy with the quality of the windows and install. The price was decent and one of the better quotes I received. Everyone that I worked with at Beissel was kind and courteous, and I would recommend them.

Excellent service and great communication! The installation of our new windows, doors (including installation of new patio door where there used to be a solid wall), siding, and roof went smooth and the end result was fabulous. It’s like having a whole new home! We would highly recommend Beissel Widows & Siding to anyone!
