Called and spoke with John who was great. He came out to get details and gave us a couple of different options. We placed the order and he even called me to let me know of a special that was running to see if I wanted to switch. The door came in as described and was installed the next day. The installers were very professional and cleaned up when they were finished. We had one issue with the door and had to order a replacement part. It seemed to take a while to get the part in but when it did arrive, it was installed right away. We will call them for future bids!!

Communication with sales started and an estimate was promptly done. The start date was as discussed. The crew was prompt and personable. There was some disconnect between the leads on the job and the salesperson, but we communicated directly with the leads and everything was done as we were expected. The guys on the job seemed to take pride in their work and it showed. Our home was built in 1920. They tore off orginal siding. They kept the character and integrity of the home with the work they did. It wasn't just putting up new siding.....the trim work resembled the original trim. The job was finished within the time they quoted. We had a great experience with Beissel.

The men that completed the work did an excellent job. We would highly recommend them and the company.

Jeff Beissel provided the estimate and invited us to the showroom to look over the windows he suggested we purchase. The crew arrived and installed all 6 windows without a problem and in no time.

They were very good. They have great communication, they get in and out, and they clean up very well.

They are very thorough. They were also very responsive and return my calls. They did not create a big mess. The person that sold me my house told me about them and I am very happy.

How did it go? It was great! We had a rain delay for a day, but I felt relieved that Ed and his associates didn't want to work on ladders when the weather was wet. They are professionals! The house looks great and I am very pleased. It is really comforting to know that you have a work crew that is trustworthy, skilled, and honest.

Disappointing communication from the beginning made me worry that it might be the same with my job..

Insulation process was great once we got install dates set up (I know insulation installers were extremely busy last fall). Everyone was very nice and easy to talk to. Was super fast. They even noticed some issues with how a bathroom fan was connected (or lack of connection/ventilation) and fixed that for me. Beissel also submitted rebate paperwork for me which helped so much. Thank you! Will be contacting you again soon for other projects.

I would give them all A's and I would use them again.

It was an insurance claim because of storm damage. I used them years and years ago for windows. I would use them again.

Experience was good. Their price was 10-20% higher than the company I chose.

Overall, it went excellent. I used Mike as the sales person and I liked him a lot. He was very professional and knowledgeable.

They repaired and replaced the roof. Mike Scott was punctual and responsible.

They had performed roofing work and vinyl siding, eaves, and soffit work for me in the past. This time with the window went really well. They had to do some carpentry work because of the old wood frame that had to be removed.

Good sales respresentative, Mike Scott. He returns calls and keeps the work going. Workmen were professional. Continued the job even in very hot weather.

The overall quality of the job was ok. Jeff the owner was very professional and personable. He had many different crews come out and the work was just not that good.

They came out promptly and made sure they could come at a certain time. They were very polite. They came back after and fixed a screen for free.

The install team was unable to complete the work on the original date in December due to weather. We had a series of schedule conflicts due to vacations and illness on both the customer and vendor sides, but finally coordinated a new date in early March. By that time ice dams had formed on the roof. The install team cleared the entire roof, and shoveled the carriageway between the sidewalk and the road as well. Their work was very thorough and we're certainly pleased with the result.

I had basement windows installed. After they installed them, they had to cement them in. As they cemented them in, on the platform, on the base where the window is standing, I am disappointed with the way it looks and it is all bumpy. It should be smoothed out, but it is too bumpy and the cement is falling apart. It just looks disgusting. It is so hard to clean. It is all cemented, but it just does not look good. I am not pleased with it at all. They never came out to inspect the work after the fact. That would be common sense to me to come out and look at the work that has been done.

I was very pleased with their work. I have worked with them in the past and they went over backwards to help me with the insurance company and got me additional funds from the insurance company to help pay for the damaged roof. He went overboard to help me out with the insurance company. They have always been very good. Sometimes I think they are a little high on price and you can get things done for cheaper but I over look that because I know they will always do quality work.

I contacted Beissel to give me an estimate on attic insulation. Theirs was the second one I received. The representative was very responsive in getting back to my online request for an estimate although I was a bit upset that he called around 8:30pm and not during the day when I asked to be called. He showed up for the appointment on time but was so vague in his explanation of services that I was left more confused than before he arrived. He didn't answer my questions clearly but made a point of telling me repeatedly that they were the best in the business. It felt like a slimy sales pitch without much substance. Neither of the other 2 companies I received estimates from had this approach. His estimate was also considerably higher by a few hundred dollars than either other company. I did not hire them to do the work.

The rep (sorry, forgot his name :-( ) came out with several brochures showing the doors they offer, including all the window styles and materials. We discussed the positives and negatives of the various styles and he was able to give us an estimate right away. When the total came up higher than expected, he suggested a less expensive door for the garage and pointed out which glass options would be more expensive (so we could avoid them). To be honest, I was a bit taken aback by the quote, since any big box home improvement store circular shows entry doors cheap. But those ARE cheap doors (I read up on one home improvement chain's house brand and many people reported spending lots of time fixing poor assembly, peeling paint, and so on). They're also stock styles and sizes, too, so if you don't like what you see, you might be able to special order but it won't be circular price. You also get to haul those doors home on your own. Then you get to install a door -- a task I've never done before and which, well, a poorly installed door can cause expensive damage you can't see for a long time. This isn't a Beissel scare tactic; it's just a homeowner who knows his limits. No question I would hire out the job. And I'd prefer to give the job to a company which treats its employees well enough to keep them around and show they're valued by paying them a living wage. Quality materials and skilled labor doesn't come cheap. But then again, we were replacing doors which were almost 40 years old. We probably won't ever have to do this again. So we stretched the budget a bit. The doors had to be ordered, so there was some lead time. We were concerned because we wanted to take advantage of the Energy Star rebate (due end of the year), but Beissel managed to get us the paperwork in time. When it was time to install the doors, four guys showed up with two vans full of doors and tools. In about four hours, they had removed the old doors, cleaned up the openings, installed the new doors and the hardware, and cleaned up after themselves. They worked carefully and neatly, and it was obvious this crew had worked together on more than a few jobs. They were respectful and considerate and neat and took whatever time it took to ask me questions about how I wanted things done. They also showed me how everything worked and had me inspect the work before I signed off on it. The doors have gotten several compliments from the neighbors and we like the way they have transformed the look of the house. They work smoothly and seal very well and, even for all the glass in them, are more energy efficient than the wood doors they replaced. We're set for another 40-50 years.

They were helpful enough to show me how to receive an energy-efficient rebate on my income taxes for the project. They are so customer-oriented. I started out with an email inquiry. They were out within a day for the estimate. They workers were very efficient and cleaned up very well after they replaced the windows. They also took away the old windows for me.
