I acknowledge that I went there late in the season to buy plants, but the other three places I visited were much better. This Backman's store had many plants and many varieties; however, the plants were mixed up. For example, the sign overhead was not what the species were. The labels in the pots themselves were good. Pots and overhead signs were all mixed up. I rated low on "punctuality" as that is the closest term I could find - I really had to seek out any help. The person would answer my immediate question then disappear. I had to find someone again a few moments later. Also, many of the plants were in very poor condition. If I found a species I wanted I would have to look through many poor dying plants to find good ones. A positive is that they had many varieties. Their prices were about the same as the other stores. Their warranty is not as good - most have 1-year and Linders had 2-year warranty. The check-out person said that since it was after Sept 15, there was no warranty on perennials.
