Tom does great work. Would definitely hire him again for any AV project. I had provided him with some unfamiliar equipment (Down and Out Swivel Mount) and he installed the mount and adjusted it perfectly. He was more than fair with additional pricing since it took a bit longer than anticipated. He was extremely courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. I get comments all the time on how nice the installation looks and functions.

I selected Audio Video Insight for my project after reading the other reviews on Angie's List. I am glad I did. Tom was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed working with him on the project. He has helpful in terms of placement for the four ceiling speakers and provided several brands with different price points to choose from. He installed the wiring and speakers all in one day and came back another day when I was ready to have the Sonos Connect installed. Overall, the project was within my budget even though I was concerned my budget might have been too low for the project. Having said that, I am sure I would have spent more money with a bigger shop. I would have no qualms about recommending Tom to my friends and family.

I had hired a contractor through HOME Advisor first, and he was a disaster. The contractor that I hired through Home Advisor never finished the job, never came back to correct his mistakes. Even though he said he would return the next day. I went to Angie's List to find a competent contractor. Audio Video Insight, LLC had many rave reviews, so I called them. Tom, from Audio Video Insight, LLC came to my home and had the job done in 30 minutes. He is a true professional and very knowledgeable. He is great!

Tom was able to arrange the consultation within a few days of contact, and once I decided to go forward with his recommendation, was able to install it within a week. His recommendation was exactly on point, resolved the issue with my outdated equipment, and was also extremely cost effective.

Tom and his team installed a new home theater system, did a nice job! Spent extra time to make sure it works correctly and made a visit to troubleshoot a issue we had.

Tom was a pleasure to deal with. He did a good job trouble shooting some audio system speaker issues that we had. It wasn't complicated for him but would have been a mess had I tried to figure this out with all the wires connecting speakers, components, etc. I will use Tom again when we get a new A/V system for our home.

I had components that I wanted to reuse in an updated system, and be able to use all of my previous media, with an improved experience. Tom came out to our home and reviewed the existing components and what we wanted the completed system to do. He selected components that would work together with our "older" components and reviewed them with me prior to the purchase.. He then installed them, and performed a complete hardware set up. He worked with us on locations for surround speakers, somewhat of a problem in the room, and came up with a good solution. We checked that each piece worked properly before he left.

Outstanding experience. This was our second time using Tom and I would use no one else. He is professional, on-time, and very easy to communicate with. He listened to what we wanted to do, gave his professional input, and completed the work just as we had hoped. He returns calls right away and makes you feel like he is an old friend - very easy to work with. We will be finishing the surround sound in hopefully the near future and I know without a doubt that Tom is the guy that I will call. Tom did a fantastic job. The room has a much cleaner look than when we started, and it has restored some sanity to this pair of parents who felt like their home was overtaken by children's toys!! Tom came to our house for an estiamte approximately 2 weeks before the job, and quoted us a price of approximately $750. He would run all wires behind the wals, transfer all stereo and TV receivers to the opposite side of the wall, and get it all working. Tom was very prompt and personable, so we immedieately signed. Tom showed up on the day of the install at the time promised, even after multiple e-mails (he is very accessible via e-mail or phone) changing up the time of the install to suit our needs. Tom spent about 8-9 hours at the home (a little longer than expected, but the I could tell the work was getting done RIGHT), walking me through the process the whole way. When it was all said and done, we were very pleased with the final outcome. In fact, due to the fact that we did NOT use a certain type of speaker wire Tom brought for this job during the install, our price actually came down below $700 (when does THAT happen?)! Would definitely recommend Tom and his work to anyone looking for a professional install of their equipment. Audio Video Insight did a great job!
