The estimate process went very well. I was also doing a major landscaping project so scheduling the installation was a challenge but Artistic Fence was able to work around that schedule. The project was completed over 2 days.

They were very professional and they were friendly. They were easy to work with and they offered really good designs. I would recommend them to others and I would use them again.

We had a good experience. Salesperson was friendly and prompt. It was easy to get ahold of the office. The project manager in the field was great. The fence did not install in the time frame estimate given prior to the job, but was not too far off the schedule. The workers were quite careful with our gardens despite tight working conditions. Some cement was left hardened in the alley that took a little too long for the crew to come back and clean up after the job had been completed, but overall the installation went smoothly. The crew kept smiling even though one of our neighbors was hard to deal with.

They did a good job on our fence. They kept within our budget and didn't have any extra costs. They communicated any delays in scheduling like with weather. It was easier to work with.

The sales person, Wendy, was very helpful with deciding what all needed to be redone and the company was able to start quickly after the permit was received. Artistic Fence took care of acquiring the permit and sending in all the needed paperwork. The workers were on time and very professional. Our home is hard to park by, but they were very respectful of our neighbors' need to get in and out of their driveways and our own. The work was done quickly in less than 2 days, they cleaned up well after themselves after the first day only leaving the remaining wood needed to finish the job and completely cleaning up everything after the job was finished. The deck and yard looked better than before they came! The finished deck looks better then we imagined! Everything is how we wanted it and more. The new cedar is a vast improvement on our old, rotted deck. By strengthening the joists, instead of rebuilding we were able to save a lot of money. Artistic Fence was the only company to suggest this course of action. We are very happy to have gone with Artistic Fence and would gladly hire them again for any further work.

The experience was wonderful from start to finish. Amy came out to look at where we wanted the fence built and to give us an estimate. Our yard is sloping, so it was going to be a challenge to build the type of fence we wanted: a 6'6" mission-style wood privacy fence where each panel was to remain level even as the yard sloped away. That would require longer than usual posts and cost a bit more than if we followed the terrain. Amy was very knowledgeable and patient with us. She listened carefully to what we wanted and gave us an accurate estimate that turned out to be the final cost of the project once the fence was finished. There were no costly surprises. The actual construction of the fence went very smoothly despite the challenges of our sloping property. Chad seemed to be the guy in charge of our project. He and his crew showed up when they said they would, introduced themselves and carefully reviewed exactly what type of fence we wanted and its location before starting work. Chad had some good ideas to deal with the slope, and the crew made a lot of progress on day 1. Chad was the only one who came back on the second day and he completely finished the fence (about 120-125 total feet in length) by lunch time. They left our yard in exactly the same condition it was in when the project started, except for the gorgeous new fence.

The fence was built well, just what I asked for. The clean wasn't exactly what I expected, as there was some debris left in the yard. They communicated well, and they were prompt.

I didn't feel there was a need for this additional work. They wanted to charge close to $10,000 and that was way too high. That is why I did not go with them. I wasn't getting anything with this fence to make it worth that much money.

We did an initial consult on aluminum fencing, but that project was out of our current price range. We came back to Artistic wanting a very inexpensive fence to keep our Pomeranian dogs in the yard and pit bulls/other dogs out. Artistic was the lowest bid, so we went with them. We worked with Mark, who's a very nice guy. The process was confusing, from selection to pricing, but I'm sure it had to do with the fact that they are very busy in the warmer months. The workers did a great job... the fence does not look inexpensive at all. In fact, we have a neighbor who put up a similar fence at the same time and spent several thousand dollars, and some of our neighbors told us they like ours better. There was an issue with the fence not extending as far as we needed it for our dogs, and they came out and fixed it very timely. There was also a pricing discrepancy issue at the end, but they took care of it. Overall, a company I would work with again, just stay on top of things.

Bidding process was great. They gave lots of info by phone. We weren't sure whether to go with iron or wood and Amy provided helpful catalogs and estimates. The day I sent the deposit, I sent an email asking what the next steps were. I got no response after 10 days and called, and was given a tentative date. One Friday, Mary called to confirm a start date of Monday, "between 8:30 and 9." It rained all weekend, so I expected them to call early Monday to postpone. Nobody called or showed up. Office staff had no idea if/when anybody would come and reminded me repeatedly of the rainy weather. I tried to convince them that I understood rain and expected delay, but I also expected to be kept informed (especially since I was wasting vacation waiting on them). I was mad about their failure to keep me in the loop, which they seemed not to get. We ultimately rescheduled. A week later, the crew built a lovely fence and did a great job cleaning up the yard. The fence itself was done in a timely manner and is beautiful. The gates are particularly nice with beautiful hardware and easy of movement and latching. The painting of the fence was delayed multiple times and I was given several reasons, first that it could not be painted before installation due to their workroom being occupied by another job. Then they told me the painter had quit. Then a man came to my door on a Sunday and said it was good day for painting and he was going to paint the fence and he never did. Then they were to send the manager out and he came and did some painting but then asked the people painting my house to paint the fence. They have been trying to get paid for their wok ever since. I paid the full amount for the job to Artistic Fence. All in all it took 3 months to get the fence painted and the painters have been waiting over 6 weeks for their money.

The fence looks excellent, and the quality of work on the fence itself was great. However, our lilac bush was not really removed. They left all the stumps sticking out of the ground and claimed that their sales person didn't understand the limits on what they could do for it when she said they could remove it. The stumps are directly under our new fence. They came back and tried to cut up the stumps and said they put something down on it to try to prevent it from growing. However they completely missed the main stump that is directly under our fence. Also, the said they could start the job in late June/early July and didn't start until mid-August. I also felt the pricing was a bit higher than other companies. I wish their sales staff were more realistic or knowledgeable about what they can do and when they can do it. The office manager was often grumpy on the phone. I would recommend them only if you need an uncomplicated fencing job and have flexibility with time.

She was here when she said she would be and didn't take too much of my time. The price was very close to the company I ended up using.

The scheduling was just as promised, and the work was done quickly and professionally. They even gave me a discount for a small adjustment I requested at the time of installation.

They were up front and honest, explaining they did not do the type of work we were looking to have done. They were pleasant to work with.

We were very pleased with their service overall. I thought the quality was very good and we've received many compliments on the work they did. We're planning on hiring them again here soon.

Very well. Mark and his team were real troopers. Our neighbor is incredibly difficult beyond words. Mark and his team put up with constant harassment and kept their cool until the job was done. Always a smile or a "no problem" despite truly the most challenging conditions for any contractor. A plus.

We left a message with the company inquiring about an estimate for a fence. We did receive a response back saying they were interested in meeting with us, but have received no further response to our follow-up regarding a time to meet.

Sheila came out to give us an estimate. She was very prompt, professional and listened to what we wanted to do. She was able to give us an estimate as we were waiting. We ended up going with a family member to build our fence, but can't say enough about how positive our experience was with Artistic Fence. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a fence.

Fantastic! Amy came out to my home to give me an estimate; I had 2 kids and a dog that I was watching that day so it was very crazy around my house but Amy was very patient about it all and put an estimate together for exactly what I was wanting. Mary helped me through a lot of questions after I booked for them to do the fence and she was also very patient with me! I came home from work one day and my old chain link fence was all gone and the new cedar posts were cemented in place. When the fence itself was done, it was all done in one day and was perfect. I believe it was Joe and Pat that did the fence and they even put in 3 gates for me: One of which I am sure was a difficult one for them because of other pavement in their way but it is still perfect! I couldn't have asked for more of a friendlier and talented staff than this company!

She called back within a few days and set up an appointment for the following week. The quote was well priced and I liked her, but I chose another contractor because his quote had more detail.

Our overall experience and impression of this firm is excellent. The quality of the installation and workmanship was superior to other fences in our neighborhood installed by competitors. The work was performed as scheduled with no delay and the installers were very pleasant and professional, and performed the work with attention to detail. The fencing carpenter was very responsive in changing the height of a gate and also gave us helpful guidance with the project design for a better result. In addition, the bid and price was lower than two other well known fencing firms that bid on the project, and the estimator (Amy) was very straightforward and thorough in the bidding process.

This project was something I wanted to get done before the end of the year and called in late Fall to request the work. My first impressions were good since my phone conversations with the company were pleasant. They provided an estimate over the phone. The workman arrived as scheduled. All went well. I am not sure how to grade the price of the work, but from what I could research on this type of job, it seemed to be within reason and it did include hauling it all away for disposal. They were accomodating, did everything that I requested, and I was pleased overall.

Excellent. Received numerous compliments from neighbors expressing how beautiful our front yard looks. Curb appeal is terrific. Artistic Fence designed and installed the landscaping and fence. Artistic Fence workers finished job in 3 days in very hot weather and hard ground to dig holes. Workers were courteous, cleaned up every evening, and worked long hours. I have and will recommend this company for fencing and landscaping.

Very frustrating experience. Work started OK (10 Jul) but not completed until Dec. We got at least 10 different dates when "for sure" it would be finished, dates were not met, more excuses given. At first the gates on the slopes did not follow the slope: had huge gaps. This took 4+ months to be corrected. We contacted them many (15? 20?) times by phone and email. We got every kind of excuse why the work wasn't done. The quality of the work was OK: some hardware is loose, 2 latches are sticky, and a deer demolished one panel (eventually repaired), hinges are on wrong side. (Our furnace contractor noticed and commented on the quality problems.) The people at AF seem nice enough (say all the right things) and the bid process was fine; but they did not execute. Terrible on promptness and responsiveness. Internal communication seems very poor.
