Fence is nice but a very frustrating experience including long waits and miscommunication.

The AF crew did an outstanding job on our fence. They were timely in everything they did and their professionalism shown through. This company is very efficient in there work and wasted little time and materials. I had estimates done by two other local companies and Joe came in the lowest. With his busy schedule he was able to get to our house and complete our job in the time he estimated. His long hours and hard work showed when the final board was nailed down. AF's attention to detail showed through on this job. Joe even suggested some things to make this cedar fence last longer. He described techniques in maintenance of the fence and reminded me of AF's warranty on every fence they build. Above, great looking fence from an outstanding crew!

It went great!!! This was kind of a weird job but since Joe and his crew did such a great job on a previous project we had him step outside his normal routine and install a sunshade. The only similarity to his last job with us and this new job was the setting of the posts. The sunshade standards needed to be exact in order for the sun top to fit...and that's how it turned out. The posts needed to be sturdy since they were 12 ft pieces of 6 inch steel....and that's what they were. Joe not only installed the standards, but also installed the rest of the sunshade for us. His professionalism was evident again as was his timely response to all our calls and visits. We will be using him in the future as we will be doing some renovation to our school!! Thanks Joe and crew!!!!

The person who worked with us for scheduling, pricing, and fence design went well. The one issue I had with them was they didn't stick to the schedule. The process kept getting delayed, and once they started it was supposed to take 3 days took 2 weeks. I would have to call and find out when they were coming back. The men building the fence were professional and nice. I wish I was told up front that they had other jobs and couldn't complete the job within those 3 days. If I had to have repairs, I would contact them again. If building another fence, I would research other companies.

Pretty well. The estimate and the actual fence construction went very well. The fence looks great!

Installed a chain link fence in the backyard. I was given a time when the fence would be installed, and the date was changed several times. The installation crew was very professional and the job was nicely done. The only complaint I have is that I'm still waiting for a part.

Mark was a pleasure to work with. Joe and his 2 crew members were very courteous and knowledgeable about their work. Our back yard slopes on both sides, so they had to work up two hills and make it look normal. The gates also were a slight challenge with unlevel ground, but you wouldn't even know by looking at the finished product. They did a great job cleaning up from the old fence and the new one. They did a great job of getting back to me with all my questions and concerns prior to the work starting. Mark was very patient with me and was one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. He really went above and beyond to please the customer. They started the job a few days after they had said, due to rain but were done before my requested time line. Also, in regards to pricing, I got estimates from several other companies and Artistic was the lowest bid for the same quality fence. Additionally, they warranty all there work for 5 years. Overall, we are very pleased!

Overall, my interaction with Artistic Fence was exceptional; from meeting with the sales person, to communicating with the office, to the builders on site. The work was done in a timely matter with beautiful quality. I was kept informed about what to expect and when the builders would be coming out. I was impressed that a fence company would be able to re-sod and landscape my yard all in one job. Everyone I encountered was very pleasant, it was a pleasure to have worked with them and I cannot say enough good things about this company. I would highly recommend Artistic Fence for any fencing, and their brother landscape company for any other yard details. The fence still looks beautiful and I have had many wonderful comments on it.

We could not be more pleased with the work done by Mark and the entire Artistic crew. From the very beginning, Amy met with me the day after I called to inquire, to the development of the plans and the completion of the job, we felt that Artistic Fence did the kind of job they would have done in their own back yards. Since we contracted the job in June, of course we had to wait for the work to begin. But they started when they said they would, and worked until the job was complete. Moreover, Joe and the crew did their utmost to construct the fence that we wanted. Not only that, they were unfailingly polite, considerate, and responsive to our needs (we have two dogs who are very possessive about their back yard). They clearly took a great deal of pride in their work. If I need to construct another fence, I'll want to use Artistic Fence. I hope you have the opportunity to have them work for you. They know what they're doing, and provide excellent service.

A very frustrating experience. They built a nice fence. Workers were courteous and professional on site. Bad scheduling and communication. Start date was to be mid-July, then bumped to late July, then August 1. Work started August 4th. We were told it would be a 2 day job. Job took 14. Workers didn't show up on many of the days, and we weren't advised of this beforehand. I called to ask why. Answer, I don't know. I asked when workers would show up next. Answer, I don't know. Asked if I was the only one being jacked around on the schedule. Answer, one of the few. On one day, a worker showed up and worked for 20 minutes, on several others for a couple hours. We would have happily paid more money to a company that completed the work within the quoted time frame, plus or minus a reasonable amount (7x more than quoted is not reasonable by any definition). They were 3 days late picking up the excess lumber, making more work for me. To top it all off, their bill was $775 more than agreed.

Poor communication between office staff and person crafting the fence. Final product missing agreed upon support rail. Work unable to be completed on agreed upon date, due to no boards available. Final product quite nice. Installer very courteous, but smoked on our property. Estimate significantly lower, than other bid obtained.

I called on Monday trying to schedule an estimate appointment and was told that Amy Nosbush would call me shortly. On Tuesday, I sent Amy an email which she read because I received an email read receipt. By Thursday I have still not received a call or a return email. This is the first contractor off of Angie's list that has not returned my calls or emails. I guess they don't need my business. I would not recommend them.

It took Artistic Fence 3 days to return my call. Amy Nosbush from Artistic Fence visited our house on July 28th, to look at the fence that needs repair in order to make an estimate. I have not heard from her or anyone else at Artistic Fence since that day. My first experience with Angie's list is not very promising.

We were extremely pleased with the work that Artistic fence did for us. We hired them early enough in the summer that they were able to do the work fairly quickly. They showed up each day early, stayed late, and worked hard. All workers were uniformly pleasant and polite. We made some last minute changes to our fence design, and they were happy to accommodate us. They finished the retaining wall in two full days of work, and the fence in about the same. We are still getting compliments on our fence, and I believe one of our neighbors hired Artistic Fence to build a retaining wall after seeing the work they did on ours. Artistic's bid was also in line with other fence companies, and their retaining wall bid was extremely competitive. We were very lucky to have a nice and accommodating neighbor, because they did have to spend most of their time on his property to build the wall, and tore up some of his lawn -- however, they offered to replace any damaged yard with sod.

I can not say enough good things about our experience with this company. Our fence is beautiful. The workers were very clean, neat, and professional. We love our fence and have had so many compliments on it. Mark is very friendly and a joy to work with. His office staff was very thorough and helpful also. I wish more companies would care as much about their craft.

This was a very good experience from the beginning process until the completion of the job. Mark and Mary Nosbush were very courteous and prompt during all phases of the project. The 3 member crew was outstanding, patient, and polite with their explanations of aspects of the project and taking our questions. They built us a solidly constructed attractive privacy fence. A salesmen from another contracting job came to give a quote, and when he saw the fence, he commented that he used to install fences, and this was an impressive fence. And another contractor was here installing an irrigation system and commented on how well constructed the fence was. This contractor did a lot of new construction and had a lot of exposure to fencing. We were very pleased with all aspects of our business with Artistic Fence. Additionally, I would mention that they were also the lowest bid that we received.

Overall we're happy with the job. The bid was not the lowest but we wanted to go with the ''little guy'' and everyone we talked to was very nice. It did take several phone calls to get returned calls on updates to our bid. Our only small issue was we were not contacted prior to the day of the install. We were called the week prior and told our job MIGHT be done the next week. That was the last we heard, then the following Tuesday I got a call at work that they were at the house ready to install the fence. I had wanted to be there to make sure the posts were put where we wanted them. I explained where we wanted things and when I got home the fence was perfect. Nicer than I had expected. We plan on getting a quote on landscaping from Artistic Fence because we're so happy with the fence.

This company is wonderful to work with! Communications are great, they are there when they say they'll be there and when there they all work! They actually listen to what it is you want done. The quality and craftsmanship far exceed any fence work we have had done in the past. We had a picture of a halo gate that we wanted and they custom built it right on the spot! Joe is an absolute professional, his work ethic and attitude are exemplary. Would highly recommend this company to anyone needing fence work.

I phoned Artistic Fence to request an estimate on a fence for our newly completed home. Several days later, someone called to say they would have a guy in our area the following morning. This schedule did not work for me and they never phoned me back to schedule an appointment at a time convenience for me.

This is the best company to work with. Hands down professional artist with quality performance all the way through. On time; courteous; they always know what is going on. I can't say enough good things about my experience with these people. The fence quality is the best I have seen. They set up and clean up. Because they are a small company and each person you deal with is an expert in that fireld your results are breathtaking! If you want a fence and want it right this is the company.I will be enjoying their work for a very long time. Price and quality; well worth the experience!

It was great to work with Artistic Fence! They were very flexible in terms of allowing me to choose a hybrid style of fence to match an existing fence I already had. Mary was very friendly and helpful when setting up the schedule. The work took two days. It took one day to tear down the old fence, dig the holes and install the new posts, and then the second day (about three days after the first was to build the fence. The price was excellent and the fence looks great and Artistic Fence offered a 5 year warranty on their work.
