All Star Plumbing

We called late on a Saturday night about a leaking pressure valve. He answered the phone at 9 PM and talked us through what he could do to help us. We had to shut the water off over night. He was able to come out first thing Sunday morning. He didn't have the parts, but was able to fix it so we could have water until Monday. The price was reasonable for an emergency type situation, but his service and responsiveness was fantastic. We called a few 24-hour emergency plumbers that evening and he was by far the most helpful and reasonably priced. He did an amazing job, was great with our children, and pets. We plan on using them again for any future plumbing needs.

We discovered this spring that we had a broken water pipe leading to our outside faucet. I emailed All Star Plumbing and Jack was able to fit me into his schedule the very same day. He did a fabulous job fixing our pipes and showed me how to properly turn off the water in the fall to avoid the possibility of our pipes freezing again.

Excellent. Reasonable up front quote. Scheduled days to do the work. Cleaned up after job. Was available for unexpected issue a after the fact. System works wonderfully. Very satisfied with Jack's services.

They did an excellent and very professional job of relocating our washer and dryer. The dryer required a new gas line and exhaust vent. The clean up was excellent. They very thoroughly checked and secured all loose water pipes in the unfinished basement. The water pipes had been banging because they were loose in places. They replaced the outside water faucet and water pipe turn off valve for the water heater. We would highly recommend them.

I have been very pleased with the service I have received, and even though we are still working on the issue, I will stay in contact with All Star and believe that things will be taken care of.

We chose this company primarily because of its excellent service ratings on Angie's List and Jack's responsiveness to member comments. The ratings are justified. Jack was here at the time he promised the morning after our call, and everything was done before noon. Jack did a good job explaining his recommendation for this particular model of water heater, and after the installation he took the time to demonstrate the controls, show us where all the shutoffs are, and answer our questions. The price was slightly higher than quoted because a gas supply pipe needed to be replaced.

I called All Star Plumbing as a second bid for replacing our gas water heater which developed a leak overnight. They were prompt in returning my call and looked at the job the same day. However, I thought their bid was high, so we went with the first bid (which was my usual plumber).

Work was performed as stated, but above estimate. I was expecting to pay a certain amount and was sent an invoice in the mail (on a piece of notebook paper) for more than was stated. I called the plumber in question, we had a discussion and he refused to give any sort of discount. I also received no communication from him regarding the progress of the job. He spoke with my renter but for some reason decided that I, the home owner, didn't need to know when he was finished or how the job went. Furthermore, he filled out the rebate form with the renter's information, not mine. More headaches, more paperwork and ultimately a delayed rebate. He also threatened to have a maintenance lien put on my property and refused to communicate with me until I paid my bill, even though I still had questions that were unanswered by him. I would never use this company again and recommend the same for anyone.

We had just moved into a home and discovered water coming through the ceiling lighting fixtures. Jack returned my call within 15 minutes and appeared at my door within an hour from when I called him. He was able to quickly ascertain the problem and made the repair that was in a difficult area to get to. Jack also took the time to make some other repairs of area that were also going to cause problems in the near future. Jack walked me through the house and explained things that a new homeowner should know about the plumbing. He was professional and efficient. I appreciated his quick response. I will call on him in the future.

Jack Stodola of All Star Plumbing answered my call promptly and got to me in a reasonable amount of time. My problem was not an emergency in any way, so I did not mind being placed on the All Star "to do" list after those with serious problems. I had an old laundry faucet that was leaking, and it was so old and corroded that I could not get it apart to fix it myself. Jack and his assistant had it fixed in about half an hour at a very reasonable price. This is my second experience with All Star and I can't speak highly enough about Jack Stodola and his business. I appreciate the honesty and integrity along with the great work ethic, customer service, and excellent work performed. About two years ago I first called All Star when my water heater went out on a Sunday morning. I saw All Star's excellent reviews on Angies List and called them. Jack was out to my place before noon that same day----- a Sunday! Not only was a new water heater installed, but Jack also corrected a couple of gas line and plumbing issues stemming from the incorrect installation of the old water heater. All at a very fair price. I can't speak highly enough of Jack Stodola and All Star Plumbing. Plumbing work done correctly and for a fair price is hard to find. One email and 3 phone calls to schedule service but couldn't nail down a window of time, only a date. On the scheduled day he never showed up or called to say he couldn't make it. Very disappointed.

Was very pleased with the service provided. Our hot water heater sprung a leak. Called All Star Plumbing because they had good reviews and were willing to work on a Saturday. We called Jack at 8am on a Saturday morning - he arrived in about 2 hours ( now that's good service). He assessed what he needed to do, got back in his truck to go purchase a new hot water heater for us, and returned in a short while with the heater and someone to help him install it. Completed the job quickly and cleaned up. He also went over the instructions with us about how to use the heater and precautions to take. I thought he was very thorough, efficient and friendly.

He was wonderful. He was very helpful and he knew all the businesses in my area. He gave us a better rate than other providers and he showed me a little bit about plumbing. He was on time and he answered my calls right away. He knew about plumbing.

Jack and Brian were fabulous! It was a big job that took 4 days to complete. We are VERY happy with the results. We used to have just a sprinkle of water coming through our pipes and now it is absolutely wonderful to have great water pressure. Jack showed us the old pipes and how clogged they were and it is like night and day when you turn on the faucets and the water pours out now! Jack is an honest businessman who does what he says he'll do and even found extra things that were wrong that he ended up fixing too. We would definitely recommend All Star Plumbing to all of our friends and family. We couldn't have asked for a better result!

Nothing. Their hours say they work Saturday - I called them off of Angie's list. He told me he was in a convertible driving and couldn't hear me. I told him my trouble, and he said "Do you have someone to help you?" - no, that's why I called you. He proceeded to tell me that he could not help me today, and did I know where the shut off valve was. Not professional at all

We purchased our new house in June, knowing we would have to replace the pipes because of very poor water pressure. After requesting 3-4 estimates, we selected All Star. I thoroughly appreciated Jack's approach to the job, including his positive communication and attention to detail. For example, he made sure we had full use of our water by 5 p.m. every night over the three days of the project, and also followed up after the work was complete to make sure we understood how everything worked and to make sure we were satisfied. We had very minimal disruption to our everyday life, and his work was fantastic.

Had a leak in a pipe and they came within 2 hours of my call. Very nice, professional and educated me on preventative measures. I will definitely call them again if ever a need!

They did an excellent job. They replaced a part for me. Jack is a master plumber. He is wonderful! Also very knowledgeable. The price was fair as well.

We just moved to the area from out of state. On move-in day the appliance installation people provided by our moving coordinator claimed they had never seen our type of washer drain hookup so they left us without a working installation. After 9 days without laundry services we were running low on clean clothes. We were not only faced with unpacking our household goods, but also with finding a laundry mat before we had to be to work the next Monday. I called All Star Plumbing based on their reviews here. Jack was very understanding and said that he would do his best to fit us into his busy schedule. (The heavy rains in the MN area have apparently had all the plumbing companies scrambling to service homes.) Jack and his assistant Brian did a great job. They were friendly and professional. They removed our old tub sink with integrated washer drain and water supply lines and installed a water line to the kitchen refrigerator. The new installations were neat and clean and thoughtfully done. They even hauled the old tub sink away for me. Highly recommended.

These guys do a great job, nothing bad to report. They seem to know that it's smart to treat very small jobs as importantly as big ones. I've referred them to several neighbors and have been thanked later by the neighbors. Very punctual and professional.

Two people came out and replaced the water heater - it was remarkably fast then came back and removed it. They left the area perfectly clean. They were polite, but I wouldn't use them again. I would tell my friends that they are competent, but you might want to consider someone else.

Jack was very prompt and completed the project within a few days and at price estimated. He kept me informed and showed me progress every step of the way. They did very good work.

My water heater had begun leaking and after doing a little research on Angie's List, I called Jack on the Sunday during Memorial Day weekend, not expecting an answer. He answered the phone himself and after I explained my issue, promised to return the call later in the evening. We spoke again in the evening and he came over that night to shut off the gas to the leaking water heater and also to shut off the hot water in my townhome, as well as begin the draining process. The next day, Monday (Memorial Day), he showed up with his assistant Brian at 9:30 a.m. whereupon they removed the old unit and installed the new one. It took about 75-90 minutes for the entire process to be completed because they had to redo some of the copper piping. All in all, an amazing service call on the first holiday weekend of the year on which we'd had very nice weather. I couldn't believe Jack was willing to take care of my situation. He took the time to give me a couple of practical tips about maintenance for the water heater and did a pretty good job of explaining what he was doing at each step of the removal and replacement process. While I am writing this review only a couple of days after the service has been completed, I believe Jack and his assistant provided above and beyond the call of duty service and hopefully quality service too (if something happens in the next couple of weeks, I will update my review). But I am very impressed with their professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile for a brand-new customer. Jack has my unqualified recommendation.
