He was the best! Arrived within about 2 hours of our phone call, even got here a little earlier than he said he would, did the job in no time, and gave us a great price. He was very nice, and professional. We will definitely call him next time we need a plumber and would recommend him to others.

Service was prompt and Jack was professional. Recommended a replacement flapper for the toilet and where to purchase the part to make sure it would work on the brand of toilet my daughter has.

We had All Star plumbing replace our water heater after it broke and leaked all over our basement floor. They were able to come first thing the next morning at 9am - which was great, very responsive and saved us from having to pay a premium for an emergency call. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and efficient. They even made sure to walk through everything we needed to know about the water heater before they left. The price was also VERY reasonable; Mr. Rooter wanted $1400 to replace our water heater the next day. They were so great, we asked them to replace our plumbing under our sink (which needed fixing anyway) about a week later. They did a great job at this as well especially since the space under our sink is a little tricky because it is not a square space. About one year later we had another issue with the connection (no fault of All Star's) and they came out the next day and fixed it at no charge. All Star stands behind their work, are responsive, and provide great service. We will continue to use them for all of our plumbing needs.

We were disappointed that our new sink drain would not hook up no matter what we did to make it work. I checked Angies List and contacte All-Starr Plumbing that afternoon and was most pleasantly surprised to hear that they could be out the next morning. I asked if there was a longer p-trap that we could use to make the pipes meet but he said that to do it right we needed to get into the wall and lower the pipe. He quoted me $350 to do the job and I agreed. Instead of cutting neat square holes that could be easily patched they hacked irregular "shell-holes". The first hole they chopped in the wall was a dud-- the drain pipe was not there. I offered to go outside to site the roof vent and measure how far from the kitchen window it was so they could transfer that measurement indoors and get to the drain. He declined and chopped a second hole-- to no avail. They then removed the dishwasher and chopped a third hole in the wall where they found the pipe and made the alterations. Then they said I needed to close up the three ragged holes in the drywall (insulation and vapor barrier torn out) and they would be back to hook up the dishwasher and check for leaks.. Closing up the mess they made took quite a while that evening and required squaring off their "shell-holes" their three "shell-holes" so they could be patched, getting replacement drywall, insulation and vapor barrier and installing taping and mudding. They came back and hooked up the dishwasher. No leaks. -- except for the quote -- when he handed me the invoice it was 33% more than the quote.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Jack was prompt to return calls, friendly and helpful. Job turned out a little bigger than he expected due to the poor installation by the previous plumber but he did not charge extra. He explained the issues and turns out we had been lucky that the water line had not given way and started leaking. So glad we called him. Would not hesitate to use him again. This is a plumber you can trust.

They did a good job. They were consistent with their estimates and did the work the next day. They put the tarp down when they did the work. I was pleased with the job that was done. It was a larger water heater than we had before.

I have 2 sump pumps in my basement. One went out and needed to be replaced. Jack responded to my call almost immediately and arranged to have the sump pump replaced that same day. Ryan was the plumber who did the installation and he was very professional. I hired them a second time to install 2 battery back up sump pumps and had the same timely and professional response. I would definitely recommend them.

Very friendly from the first phone call and visit to provide an estimate and very flexable on scheduling the work. The team was in and out quickly, quietly and very efficiently. The original estimate was for the 2 outside faucet replacements. After the work was complete Jack told me that the inside shutoff was not working 100% and should probably be replaced eventually. No pressure, just information. When I asked if they could do it right then he was willing to give me an immediate estimate and do the work right away which saved scheduling an additional trip. The work went fast so the charge was lower than the estimate.

The work was great. They respond quickly. They answered the question. They were upfront. Their rates were pretty reasonable. I will use their service in the future.

I felt that the price was good. They were great. They called back right away and showed up when they were supposed to. They were very easy to work with.

Our kitchen sink suddenly quit draining. My husband called All Star Plumbing & reached their voice mail. They returned his call within an hour and said they could come out at 9:00 the next morning. All Star arrived right on time with 2 guys who figured out the problem and had it fixed in less than 90 minutes. To our surprise, the sink drain was frozen. We've never had a problem with freezing drains in 25 years but this one was caused by a recent deck addition that had involved repositioning some perimeter insulation.They suggested how to prevent the problem from happening again. The guys were very careful with our floors and home in general. We thought their work was excellent and the price more than fair. We recommend this company.

When he found out I lived on the east side of St Paul he said he would have to charge extra to drive across town. Then he referred me to another plumber not on Angies list and also not in business anymore. So if you live in the Como area this is the guy for you, because the 15 minute trip to my house is too far of a drive.

We woke up on a Saturday morning to find about an inch of water in our laundry room. Water was spraying from a water valve from our main water intake. We turned off the water, but there was enough water to soak our carpet in the hallway and the shared wall in the fourth bedroom. We called a few plumbing companies through Angie's List, and Jack was the only one who answered. Although it was still only around 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday, he reassured us he would be out shortly. Jack was out within two hours of our call that morning, and was able to replace the valve within a half hour. He was extremely professional and helpful, even suggesting we rent a professional fan/blower from Home Depot to dry our carpet. He not only fixed our plumbing, but made great suggestions that ended up helping us save our carpet. We would highly recommend All Star Plumbing, and wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future.

Our basement got 12-18" of water after a downpour, and the hot water heater stopped working. We were trying to clean up a colossal mess, and couldn't take showers. My husband called them to ask about repairing the unit. They recommended replacement instead, because our old hot water heater was at least 15 years old. They said that we could spend $450 to fix it, and still end up having to replace it in the next couple of years. Although this was an upsell, it was good advice. We went with the replacement. We had used them previously for another job, and liked their work. My husband called some of their competitors for comparison (they all recommended replacement instead of repair). All Star was able to help us the soonest for the same price as their competitors, so we gladly went back to them. They are always professional and friendly. Our cats like them, too.

I struggled finding anyone to come out on such short notice however when I call All-Star Plumbing they answered right away. It was 1:00 on Monday afternoon. Jack answered and was very professional. He explained he would have someone out to look at the problem and schedule time to fix it the next morning. Two gentlemen showed up at 2:30 (way faster than I expected) and they went right to the problem. They identified it, which was a hole in a copper pipe, and replaced the pipe on the spot. 20 minutes later I had hot water again and the work area was left spotless. I felt the cost was reasonable and the service was amazing. I highly recommend Jack and the All-Star team. They live up to their name!

Jack was able to fit us in on short notice. He was punctual, did a high quality job, and was exceedingly polite. Plus, his price was very reasonable. We would definitely use him again!

I cannot describe what a pleasure it is to know that mechanicals will always be done correctly and on time. Jack is a master plumber and a gentleman. Jack knew what was wrong from the minute I explained the problem. He came with the repair parts and did exactly what needed to be done. I have no doubt that many other plumbers would have made this a two trip job and charged me for the installation and purchase of a new faucet.

I suspected a leak in the dishwasher, so I was happy to have it be a problem with an easy fix.

All Star was very quick to respond. Jack was on another job, but said he had a team near my home and he would send them over ASAP. They were at my house within :30 minutes! They had a new valve on the truck and they had the whole repair done within an hour of when I called. Excellent service, even though it was late in the business day.

We were very happy with the explanation and customer service, as always.

We had a minor gas leak that we noticed very late on a Friday night. Had the energy company come and look at it right away and they said it was minor and didn't need to be fixed right away, just as soon as we could. We were nervous though and wanted it fixed quickly. We called AllStar Plumbing the following day and Jack come out to our house later that same day. He fixed the problem quickly, and even gave us a few first-time homeowner tips about basic stuff re: gas lines, pilot lights, etc.. He did a good job, and he also didn't charge any overtime despite the fact that he was working on a Saturday afternoon.

Jack was very responsive to my initial phone call and made an appointment for the next business day! He showed up on time, conducted himself very professionally and was very knowledgable about my plumbing issues. He handled all of the work we discussed with high quality and in less time than I expected. They left all work areas very clean and showed me what they did and told me anything that I needed to know about their work.
