They came out same-day to replace our leaking water heater. Overall very professional and took additional time to inspect all plumbing/gas lines, and to show me all of the various shut-offs for safety purposes. Clean and professional - would recommend!

Amazing. He had time in his schedule the morning I called,came on time, worked hard, cleaned up, gave lots of free advice on managing our rental, and charged exactly what he estimated.

I called Jack because we had a water heater that appeared to be leaking. He was on his way to another job when I contacted him but was able to make it to our house within a couple of hours. He quickly diagnosed the issue and a few hours later we had a new water heater installed. He did an excellent job of walking me through how to use and shut-off the new water heater. Jack and his associate were incredibly professional and friendly. He also was able to fix some problems with a bathroom sink that years ago another plumber had told me could only be fixed if we installed a whole new sink. I would highly recommend All Star/Jack to any of my friends and family.

I called Jack because I thought my drain in the basement was clogged up. Rather than coming out and checking on it, Jack talked me through a few steps so I could see if I really had a problem or not. I would have expected most service folks to make the service trip one way or another. I didn't end up needing help, but if I ever do, I will call back.

I used All Star, because the had a "Big Deal" for a drain cleaning. We had a clogged bathtub drain, so it seemed like a good deal. Almost immediately after buying the big deal, the owner started to call me to schedule the cleaning. It was sort of helpful, but he was sort of pushy about getting things scheduled. I imagine they offer these things during their slow time of the year, so it made some sense that he would be anxious to get this scheduled. He arrived on time on the day we scheduled. He took a look at the drain and pointed out that the problem was that the hardware was too large for the actual drain. He gave me a quote for a replacement all of this was fine.. except that when he was putting the drain back together he broke the mechanism that opens and closes the bathtub drain , rendering it useless. His comment " You don't use this very much anyways do you?" He did not offer to fix it. He hurried out. So... drain clean, but bathtub unusable. Not a great experience.

Jack and I spoke about what needed to be done and he was very informative about the process. I called to let him know the electrician had installed the circuit for the new disposal. There were concerns about the drain height - he wanted to stop by and see. He was busy and said he would stop by on Sat - his day off - to assess the installation. He was to call me that morning. I waited all morning for his call - no call, no show. And no call in the following days to ask for a re-schedule.

Jack arrived at 9:30 am and was done before noon. When he arrived we talked about a couple placement options and once that decision was made, he dove into the installation of a Water Boss softner. He had to do some pipe changes and he even moved the salt we still has left from our old softer's holding tank to the new one. He hauled away everything from the old system, flushed the pipes, ran the new machine and was done when he said he would be. The new machine is great! Thanks again Jack for your good service!

He snaked out the lines, performed tests to make sure everything was flowing correctly, traveled through the house looking at all the drains, toilets, and faucets, to see if everything was in good working order. All work was completed that day.

The work went well, except for the problems mentioned with the prior flanges and seals due to having new floor tile laid over the old tile.

Jack coordinated the work extremely well with his sub-contractors and we were pleased with his responsiveness and dedication to doing the work to high standards. He is very personable and treats the customer as he would like to be treated. We thought the work was done at a fair price and the quality is excellent. The finished bathroom was a little more expensive than we originally planned, but that is because we decided to tile the bath/shower area, instead of using the original "surround" enclosure.

This was a tricky repair. Another plumber had looked at the faucet, told me there was a 95% chance the faucet would break in the process, and that even if it didn't, the repair would cost at least three times what Allstar Plumbing ended up charging me. I attempted the repair myself but quit when it felt dangerously close to breaking. Jack came out the same day I called and was able to free the recalcitrant locking nut with no additional damage. He will be my first call the next time I need a plumber.

Jack and his partner did excellent work, were very professional and wereextremely accomodating in working with our scedules.

Within a week of purchasing an older home (1941) that had been vacant for 8 months, I discovered my kitchen sinks did not drain properly and my dishwasher flooded. I called around 11 am on the Friday of Labor Day Weekend and received same day service (I did not have to leave a message, they answered. I had called a couple of other plumbers first and had to leave messages and only one call was returned). They were very punctual, very professional and very kind. They understood my finances were limited since I had just closed on the home and offered to let me send my payment in a "couple of weeks", despite the fact I had never used their services before and they did not know me. I still paid them that day, along with your coupon, however apparently they forgot to give me the Angie's List discount, so a few days later, I got a check in the mail from them! Their prices were so reasonable, I had no idea they had not included the discount, so I was pleasantly surprised to receive a check!! Overall, they were so great, I plan to use them for a bathroom remodel within the next few months...great people to deal with, AND fixed my problem within 30 minutes, however they stayed long enough to let my dishwasher go though an entire cycle to ensure the problem was completely fixed. I was extremely impressed. I joined Angie's List because I had no idea who to call for my plumbing issues, and even if I never need Angie's List again, it was worth it just to find this plumber!

I'm always reluctant to call a plumber, since they have a way of eating money. This is why I attempted to fix my stubborn kitchen sink leak by myself....Bad idea. I accidentally cracked the pipes under the sink. In short, I made things worse and got in over my head. I actually expected the worst when I called Jack and his apprentice. It was between him and a large chain plumber that I was going to have do the job. Jack arrived first early the next day. Let's just say I'm glad I went with All Star Plumbing. They showed up a couple of hours before they said they would, and proceeded to fix my faucet leak, broken pipes, and water supply lines. They did this in under an hour. I was mentally prepared to pay substantially more than they billed me for. They were very reasonable. Since I love to support local businesses that do a great job at a great price, I will definitely use them again. I found my plumber!

They were very polite, respectful and did a great job! I was very satisfied with the work performed and would hire them again and will recommend them to friends.

My kitchen sink clogged on a Sunday night. I called on Sunday and spoke to a live person. We made an appointment for the next day. The plumber and his helper arrived on time, spread a tarp in the kitchen to catch any spillage, and proceeded to efficiently fix the clog (which involved the garbage disposer). They also replaced some pipe that was in bad shape. When they were finished, they cleaned the entire sink area with soap and water. The plumber knew that I had only lived in the house a short while, and without my asking he also offered to walk me through the mechanicals room and show me the water shutoff, the gas shutoff, etc. He asked if I needed anything else, and while he was there I decided to have him look at the bathroom sink which was draining sluggishly. He took care of it in short order. All in all, they were polite, neat, efficient, and very responsive. I will definitely call on them again.

I tried reaching a few 24 hour plumbing services, however no one picked up until I called Jack from All Star Plumbing. I spoke with him at 630 pm and by 8 pm Jack and Allen were at our house fixing our plumbing issues. What my husband and I thought was going to be a big project, repairing a hole in the shower pipe ended up being a small project with very little damage to the sheet rock in our hall way. Jack and Allen were extremely professional and friendly. We would definitely recommend this company to any of our friend.

A toilet tank was leaking. I couldn't tell if it was leaking around one of the bolts or from the gasket between the tank and bowl. I tried to tighten the bolts, but the leak continued. All Star was the fourth plumber I called. One didn't call me back, and the other two said they couldn't do it on the day I wanted, which was 5 days in advance. I was very happy that All Star said they could work me into their schedule. They were on time, professional, and very helpful. I appreciated that they said I should watch it for a couple of days to make sure they had fixed it. If there was no more leaking, they would bill me. If the leak continued, we talked about replacing the toilet, and they would apply the charge toward the new toilet. While he was here, he also showed me where the main water and gas shut-offs were since I wasn't sure.

These guys were great. I called 8:30 am and Jack and the other plumber (I forgot his name) were by 11 a.m. Job was done by 2 p.m. This is included draining and removing the old hot water heater and installing a new one (and some piping had to be replaced). He charged me the exact estimate. From what I researched, $875 appears to be average to just a little below average for the job. This was a very timely and professional team and they were very careful to clean up after themselves and went above and beyond in terms of offering to get rid of the box the new hot water heater came in. I am so accustomed to cleaning up after repairmen and installers that this was really nice to see. I definitely plan on using All Star Plumbing again.

The city water authority where I live is replacing residential water meters. I learned from the City that I did not have a working water shut-off valve where the water comes into the house. The new meter could not be installed until a shut off valve was installed. I called several plumbing outfits and decided to go with All Star, because Mr. Stadola: 1) was able to get me scheduled in the time frame I needed, 2) respectfully answered my questions and, 3) gave me a reasonable cost estimate based on the time to complete the job. The day of the repairs, he called me to coordinate our schedules, since the City had to be notified 2 hours prior to the water shut off. He showed up at the houe several minutes after the City had shut off the water - talk about good timing!. After looking at the plumbing in question, he again went over the repair with me and told me what the total cost would be. He and his assistant went right to work, completing the job very quickly. After the repairs were completed and the City turned the water back on, he ran water from all the faucets to make sure the system was running smoothly. I asked if he would give me some advice about other plumbing issues I had. He was very helpful, even looking at my hot water heater and explaining a few things to me about typical operations and what signs that indicate problems. I would be very confident in hiring Mr. Stadola/ All Star Plumbing again.

We came home to a leaking water heater on a Friday evening. Since I had All Star work in my floor drain the year before I called Jack right away and he answered the phone! He said he would come right away and check it out -- I said I was concerned about it being a gas heater, he took the time over the phone to talk me thru shutting the gas and water off. He came that evening to start draining the water and said he would be back the next morning (after another job) to install the new heater. He was right on time and was very professional and helpful. He had to replace all the connections to bring them up to code and he took the time to explain everything to us and made sure we had no questions about the heater and also answered other gas and plumbing questions we had. I would recommend All Star for any repair work for all my friends and neighbors.

We looked at doing it ourselves, but once the old spout was off we were a bit intimidated by the 'quirky' plumbing coming out of the wall.Jack assured me that what needed to be done was simple enough for us to do. He explained exactly what to do and also gave us the name of a plumbing supply company that could posssibly make it even easier than he explained if we were not interested in working on the water line.He was courteous and an all round nice guy to talk to. We would recommend him to others.Best part was, he didn't charge us anything for the time he spent at our home. Not even a trip charge!Thanks Jack

All Star plumbing came out to replace my water heater on a Sunday. Try finding a plumber on a Sunday! The price was outrageously fair. The work was excellent. The attitude and demeanor were entirely kind, understanding, and professional. I am going to tell all my friends about All Star plumbing

We had a leak in the hot water line under our sink. I had tightened the connections to some improvement, but didn't want to over do it and snap the line or cause other damage. Plus, was unsure if connections would need to be replaced outright. The wife called this morning about 11am and the owner and an employee stopped by about 2:30. In the end, it was just necessary to properly tighten the connections, which they did and then had my wife run the dishwasher to ensure the leak was fixed. The owner gave us a discount on the normal base service call and charged us only $50 for the combined service call and work performed. I certainly would not have expected such a discount, but what a wonderful and appreciated surprise. My wife indicated the owner and employee were very friendly, worked quickly, and gave extra time to ensure there weren't any leaks when the dishwasher was used. The total investment they made far exceeded my expectations for the small payment of $50. We are very impressed and appreciative to this company and would highly recommend them after our experience.
