Charged me 1700 to refill freon and sealed leaks with 3 year warranty. Warranty is a farce. Unit was still leaking after I got a 2nd opinion. Was only out there for 10 minutes. Very unprofessional. Don't believe the reviews. Posted a review on Google and some how it was removed. Use this company with caution. I would take the time and get a 2nd and 3rd opinion. You will save a fortune.

Called and asked for an inspection of my garage heater. Was quoted $120 for the tech to come out. I remarked that prices have really climbed - thinking nothing of it, just sighed. The young lady asked me to hold, and came back telling me that she spoke to the owner they had a special for $75. I was pleased. Cool. Tech showed up, and did the inspection. He blew out the blowers as they were dirty. The space heater worked fine. Then he told me that garage heaters were not on the special, and the price was now the aforementioned $120. Confused, I said I had explained it all to the people at the office; he didn't care. $120 is the price. I commented that they should get their stories straight and paid. The tech was not the most sociable person I've ever met, not rude, but dang close. He acted as if doing his job was doing me a favor and his needing to be there was an unforgivable imposition. I paid, but feel kind of crappy about the whole thing. Won't ever use them again. If you can't trust what the owner tells you, then the rest of it is just not worth it.

Paul and crew were fast and efficient in removing my old furnace and installing the new one. They did a great clean up job taking all of the old equipment with them. They also installed a humidifier on to my new furnace and it works great. Fast forward to summer and my AC would not turn on and it seemed like my thermostat was not working. Paul showed up on time and took a look and found a loose wire that was the problem with my theromstat not sending the information to my AC. Five minutes in and out of my home with no charge and I will be cool this summer! Thanks Paul!

Service technician was very unprofessional. Air knight was used by my home warranty company to look into a water leak in my furnace room occurring in my central A.C unit. When the technician arrived I informed him of the issue and also showed him where the leak had occurred. He informed me that he was going to look at the A.C unit outside my home. The technician went outside my home and was on his phone for a while then left without coming back into my home to give an update of his findings. When I contacted the tech to find out why he left and what occurred he stated that my home warranty is aware of the issue and stated the unit may need some Freon, but most likely should be replaced. He mentioned my home warranty will contact me for the next steps on repair. Little did I know that he told my home warranty different information that I refused service, which was a lie because he didn’t follow up with me regarding the service request till I called. It was a complete waste of time and didn’t make sense to me that a service technician would show up to waste my time and his only to lie about denying services. If you want professional service I advise don’t use this company.

I requested quotes from Angi May 26 Air Knights called that night, did an assessment the next day and gave me options of repairing or replacing with SEER options. A SEER 16 was recommended. I purchased the replacement. The installation was June 1. The sales and service people are very knowledgeable and courteous. I plan to replace the maintenance with Center Point with Air Knights for both the furnace and air conditioner. I highly recommend Air Knights.

One of the best service I ever had, when I call the company they immediately responded and that same day the repair person came who's name is Paul ,he is very nice and respected person ,he checked the heat and told me exactly what the problem was and told me what is to be done,at the end of the day everything was fixed ,I highly recommend this company to anyone who has issues with their heating system or cooling system to check them out.

The furnace has worked perfectly since getting the new part, even during nights of -15 degrees F.
Description of Work: Furnace check-up. It found a problem that we feared would require a new furnace, but the technician ordered and installed a new part that cost much less than a new furnace.

It was a very cold, very windy night and the furnace went out. Air Knights saved me by diagnosing the problem as a blocked roof vent. He offered to go up and dig it out, but I didn't want to risk him falling. Nice to offer, though! After I got it shoveled off, the furnace still didn't start - so I called Air Knights and they talked me through the careful process of what to do. It has worked like a champ ever since. So nice. Very professional. Will difinitely be my first call in the future.

"Air Knights responded within 2-3 minutes and arrived within a couple of hours on that Saturday night. James worked about 1 and 1/2 hours and explained the problems. It was decided due to the cost of the repair it would be better to get a new furnace. He suggested we get space heaters for the night to keep the house from going from below freezing. He normally had space heaters to loan out but due to so many calls, didn't have any in the truck. He had us buy some and then he took them and reimbursed us for them after the new unit was installed. The next day, Paul, the owner, of the company brought the new furnace unit. The following day, James installed the unit. He was very nice, very knowledgeable, professional, very dedicated to his job. We've been very pleased. "

They were fantastic!!! Technician Dmitri came out on an emergency basis, on a super cold day, and was pleasant and calming, while I was frantically assuming the worst. He seemed very experienced, as he knew just what to look for. He thoroughly checked everything out, took readings, cleaned things off and diagnosed the problem. He quoted me a good price on a replacement part, and the charge for the trip and diagnosis was EXTREMELY reasonable. I was so impressed with their responsiveness, the tech’s empathy and professionalism, and the price that they are on my “go to” list should I have any more problems.

did nothing to tune up or repair furnace, was told furnace was junk and needed a new furnace asap, called another contractor who replaced motor bearing for $500 and was told furnace was in good operating condition otherwise and should last a good five years or more.

Excellent service - very responsive to my request through Angie's List. Was able to get same day service while other businesses were a full week out. This was much appreciated with the late season heat wave. All the work on the unit, as well as determining if warranty was still in effect, filing the warranty paperwork, locating and getting the parts was done quickly and professionally.

They called right away when I inquired was able to book and appointment that matched my schedule. Appt day I was scheduled 8-10 am and they were a no show. Not even a call. After spending my morning waiting for them I finally called them and was told their server went down and had no access to scheduled appts for the day. They proceeded to tell me how the talk to thousands of customers each day and cant remember who they call. He said he could reschedule me but it would be another two days. Very poor customer service. How many customers were scheduled and did they just not contact anyone today or just me. Not even an attempt to make things right by offering to try to still come same day or at least waive the $75 fee for a reschedule. Very disappointed and had to share my almost new customer experience. I'll be sure to let everyone I know to skip over this listing

Do not use this service if your work is covered by a home warranty like American Home Shield. The owner Paul will treat you bad. He has a poor attitude and is very incompetent. You would be better to forgo using your warranty and just pay a quality HVAC company. Save you time and headache. The parts for my AC were ordered and received last week. Scheduled 4 days later to install between 2-6pm. Shows up at my property at 4:55pm and tells me I have to reschedule for another day because he forgot to bring the parts with him and since it was 5pm it was too late to get them. INCOMPETENT!!! Threatens to sue me because we are posting bad reviews for the way we were treated. Sorry your incompetence is not my problem. You did not provide your service as you stated in the time frame you agreed to. Meanwhile you read other reviews where Paul is working pat 10pm to fix non-warranty calls because they pay more $$$$. Don't say you were not warned

DO NOT HIRE! If I could give negative stars I would. I have had this company come out to my house on many different occasions and they have only gotten worse each time. On this most recent time (7/10/2019) they gave us a window of 5-9 and it was approaching 8 and I worked early the next morning so I called them and asked around what time they were going to come. They told me that I didn't answer my phone earlier and that he called 6 times when he only called once that day so they canceled. It's been in the high 80s and getting hotter in the next week and expalined to them that I need to have my AC fixed and how unprofessional they were acting. They came out to my house and told me I was basically delusional for thinking anything was wrong and told me everything worked perfectly. Not to mention I just paid them $200 the last time to fix this exact problem! When I brought this up to him he told me that he didn't even look outside at the unit because he "was focusing on something else". I continued to explain how no cold air would come out and if they could look at it again and they started raising their voice at me saying how my house is now "red-flagged" and they will "never service my house again". I am so infuriated at this company and how unprofessional they are and how they treated me! After they were done yelling at me and my family they slammed my front door and walked to their van through my yard and over my grass seed that had been growing for a week now and was just starting to come up. They got in their van and sped off in my residential neighborhood with kids playing outside. I would not wish this service on my enemy and I am so taken back by the disrespect I was given. After reading some reviews it seems very probable that Paul has something against people when working through their home warranty. I had no other choice but to work with this company because of my home warranty. Total B.S.

Our records as well as your home warranty records show that there was only one visit to your residence once on 6/24 for a furnace claim. At the time of the visit no mechanical failure was found. You had submitted a recall on July 8th to which we set up an appointment for on 7/10 between 5-9. You were advised of our policy that we call before we arrive, yet you had failed to respond to our calls to verify you were home. We called you 6 times with no response, therefor you've missed your appointment. You also made a false statement saying we charged you $200.00. We only saw you once on 6/24 & collected $100 deductible that was due. Keep in mind we have all of our records on the only service we came out on, the only $100 you've paid and the calls we have made. You've mentioned we didn't look at your a/c unit, why would we? You submitted a claim for your furnace and not a/c and that is what we came to look at. That was the only focus is the only claim you put in for furnace to be looked at. If you wanted your a/c to be looked at you would have had to submit another claim for your a/c. We understand that you are upset you missed your appointment last night but that isn't our fault. Yes, you are red flagged in our system and we will never service you again. We had filed a complaint against your false accusations with your home warranty. We are honest company and we do not wish to give you another service to your home. We work with many home warranties and treat every customer, warranty or not the same with respect & honesty. It is very disturbing to see that you took the time out of your day to write this false review and accuse us of the things that never happened. We hope the next person that comes to service you won't be treated the way you treated our company. In the end you are the only one making up a false review here. Great! My A/C system ran out of refrigerant due to a leak. Air Knights responded while I was still in Angie's List typing the request. (It might help to indicate this is an emergency, which, with 50 guests expected at my home in 72 hours, in the middle of summer, it is.) 24 hours later, it's up and running. I'm leaving this review a bit early as the repair has not withstood the test of time, but as initial reactions to contractors go, I'm very satisfied.

On one of the coldest days of the year, our smart thermostat suddenly died and the heat wouldn't kick in. Paul was able to come literally 15 minutes after I talked to him on the phone. He quickly ran a diagnostic test, and figured out the furnace was fine and the trouble was the smart thermostat. He replaced the smart thermostat with a regular one he had in his truck. He recommended a specific smart thermostat to install (he told me the junk ones to stay away from) and told me he could come back free of charge and replace the one from his truck with the smart one that we could order online. Great, fast service. I appreciated that he talked through what was wrong and how he fixed it. I will definitely call him again if something goes wrong with our furnace.
