Abel's Concrete & Construction

Abel came out and gave us a quote that he stuck to. It was a ton of work around our inground pool and front walkway. From demolition to the eventual pour his team worked incredibly hard and did a fantastic job. I could not recommend them more. Incredible service, and responsiveness.

Very difficult to get a hold of them, but worth the effort. They did good work.

I had a liking skylight and hired them to repair it. Right after taking the job they were changed, they never answered my call and they didn't show up on time. Above all, they used my own resources for the job, they used my pix-axe to dig the snow on the ground to pave a way to the back door and they took it when done. When I ask Abel, the contractor, he said they did it mistakenly, but they never gave it back. Until now, he either doesn't answer my calls or hangs up on me. I hired another company to finish the job for me. So sad!!!

Abel was prompt in answering my call and giving us an estimate. The work was to be done on the morning of May 26th, but they were unable to get here until afternoon. His crew did a good job and we are pleased with the finished product.

After three or four calls of trying to get him to set up the work, I have given up hope. My last call to him was on July 26. We have not heard from him since and are now thinking that this job--which we hired him for in May--will not get done this year and will have to wait until next year. The point was to get it done early in time to then paint the house afterwards. So obviously we are not pleased at this point.

We are very happy with Abel and the work that his crew did for a home we just bought. They showed up when they said they would, did an excellent job and cleanup was nice. The price was fair and I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

Mr. Abel is very responsive and fair. His workers can be a little sloppy and rough on plants, so supervise closely. Work was very nice and I would recommend him.

ABEL'S CONCRETE and CONSTRUCTION Abel's had the most competitive price of all concrete quotes I received. The work was great, on time, and met my expectations. However, you need to make sure you document all the work promised and hold Abel to it. He's a very nice man but can be a little forgetful.

Abel's was great to work with from start to finish. Abel himself answered the phone and prepared the estimate. He was friendly, and on the one occasion he was running late he called to let me know. The bid was very reasonable. The workers performed the work over two days. They were punctual, neat, and did a fantastic job. The new concrete has been in place for about 8 months and still looks great. I'd recommend Abel's to anyone.

They did a great job, and the steps look brand new. In addition, they also helped with some stucco patching on the front of the house. Abel is very friendly and professional. He is very easy to work with, and communicates with you from start to finish. They also did a great job cleaning up. This year, we had them do a small roofing project too. We are very happy with their work.

Pretty well. Abel was very up-front and friendly, but not pushy like a lot of contractors. His crew was very professional, friendly and quick. They re-installed one of my front steps crooked, and when I pointed it out to Abel, he had them re-do it right away. They were a little sloppy on the grading, packing dirt over my gutter downspouts instead of just asking me to remove them first. I felt like I had to keep an eye on what was going on and remind them about a few things that Abel had agreed to. This involved calling Abel daily and re-scheduling a few times. This is pretty normal for contractors in my experience, so even though I find it annoying, I'm not surprised. The only problem has been that one small section of the basement wall cracked and got soft within a week, and I've been playing phone tag with Abel to get someone back here to patch it up. This is typical, but annoying stuff to deal with. Over-all - Great job, great crew, great prices...just make sure to stay in touch and stay aware of what's happening.
