+ -1 moreThey did a great job. They were on time and on budget. They came back the following spring and replaced some shrubs that didn't survive, relay mulch, and do some trimming free of charge.
Description of Work: They did some landscaping work for me.

+ -1 moreA-1 Maintenance, is not telling the truth. The BBB closed the dispute without bias, which is normal procedure when two parties can't agree. He didn't buy me a hose and sprinkler. At the time I had lived there 15 years, I had that equipment. My water bill in 3 months for a 40X40 lot with one person living there was over $100.00, possibly due to a lot of watering? My normal water bill is approximately $26.00. Jon Nelson, never told me that the trees, (which are my neighbors) would be a problem. I do think that is his job as a landscaper though. If he had told me the trees might cause a problem, why did he not change the contract to say he wouldn't replace the sod on the east side of the house? Of course I suppose when you aren't going to honor the contract, it doesn't matter what it says. Lastly, Jon knew I was dissatisfied with his work. I left him a note with the last payment, telling him I had never worked with anyone that took less pride in his work.
Description of Work: SODDED BACKYARD, REMOVED SHRUBS, PLANTED PLANTS & PUT DOWN ROCK. TRIMMED OTHER BUSHES. ALSO, INSTALLED A CLOTHES LINE. THIS COMPANY DOESN'T STAND BY THEIR CONTRACTS. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, THEY REFUSE TO DO WHAT THE CONTRACT STATED. CONTRACT STATED ANYTHING PLANTED THAT DIED WITHIN A YEAR WOULD BE REPLACED. SOD ON THE EAST SIDE OF HOUSE NEVER GREW. THEY ARE SAYING IT DIDN'T GROW DUE TO MY NEIGHBOR'S TREES, TOO MUCH SHADE. THOSE TREES WERE THERE WHEN HE AGREED TO DO THE JOB, SAME SIZE, SAME AMOUNT OF SHADE. HE SAYS IT IS NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM PEOPLE THAT WHAT THEY ASK FOR WON'T WORK. THE SOD WAS PUT DOWN POORLY, NOT CUT OUT AROUND TREES. WHERE HE PUT THE ROCKS DOWN, DIDN'T USE THE CLOTH THAT KEEPS WEEDS FROM COMING UP, SO NOW I HAVE TO WEED THE AREA ALL THE TIME. I CAN'T IMAGINE THE KIND OF PERSON HE IS, THAT HE HASN'T DONE THIS TO OTHERS. I WOULD HATE FOR ANYONE ELSE TO USE THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY & GET THE POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE THIS COMPANY.

WHEN THERE WAS ONE PART OF THE JOB THAT I WASN'T HAPPY ABOUT, HE RETURNED WITH HIS TEAM AND COMPLETED IT TO MY SATISFACTION. I DID GET FRUSTRATED FOR A SHORT TIME (2 DAYS) WHEN HE DID NOT SHOW UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, AND DID NOT CALL TO SAY HE WOULDN'T BE MAKING IT; AND AGAIN WHEN I LEFT HIM A MESSAGE AND HE DID NOT RETURN MY CALL SO THE NEXT DAY I HAD TO TRACK HIM DOWN. HE ALSO SAYS THAT HE WILL STOP OUT NEXT SPRING TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS WORKING THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE.
