They did an excellent job and I love my 3 new doors. The space they were creating a new wall and door for was an awkward space but they executed it perfectly. Very professional and they went above and beyond.

There was a fire that caused substantial damage to my home on 4-13-11. I contacted my insurance company and they opened a claim. I received a list of Restoration Contractors from my Adjustor (their preferred contractor list). In talking with my adjustor, he strongly steered me toward J.Zac Inc. due to his experience with him, the size of the company, and the personalized service they provided. I signed a contract with J.Zac on 5-6-11. Over the summer I became concerned about the lack of progress on the home, knowing I had a limit to my Additional Living Expenses (ALE). I asked J.Zac for a schedule of completion. Jerry Zachman repeatedly assured me the house would be complete by October 1. My ALE was scheduled to expire on 10-13-11. On 10-3-11, I met with Jerry Zachman at the house and expressed concern over the quality of some of the workmanship as well as the doors that had been installed. On 10-7-11, with significant work yet to be completed, J.Zac resigned from the job. I immediately called Jerry Zachman, asked him to please finish the work, but he did not want to do that. I asked for an estimate of the work that needed to be completed. I knew I would need that to hire someone to finish the work. I did not receive until 10-13-11, despite asking for it a number of times. I am having difficulty finding someone to come in and finish the work, at this point in the project. While contractors are sympathetic to my situation, it is difficult to immediately start work on my project. The home does not have running water, no heat, it is not in living condition. As a result of this, as well as quality of work performed, I would not recommend this firm. They also will not submit any copies of receipts for items purchased nor did they order the materials I requested.

Jerry was very helpful; he gave us advice as to what kind of tile and suspension method to use to replace the old ceiling (different from what we'd planned, and better fit our needs). He was very neat and thorough in his work and also unobtrusive -- we hardly knew he was there. He worked around the things we were unable to move out of the room and did a great job of keeping the dust from getting into the rest of the house or into the items that were left in the room. The process of replacing the tile was a challenge, getting it to fit properly into the space; he kept working at it until it looked right -- and managed to do it all within the time frame and cost that he estimated. He was very professional, kept us informed and part of the process; was also friendly and had a sense of humor. He cleaned up after himself each day -- and didn't even leave dusty footprints when he walked through the house!
