The work was done exceptionally well. The technician(Reece) diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He was very professional and answered all of my many questions concerning the problem. I would not hesitate to hire this firm in the future.

Our technician was great. He was on time and quickly identified the problem as a leaking refrigerator, which surprised us since we had seen no water by or under the appliance. He charged us a nominal fee since we need to find someone else to repair the refrigerator since the problem is the unit itself and none of the connections.

Plumber also recommended to renter to have valve in Shower replaced. I reluctantly agreed to it after he said it was going to "explode any day and cause a major flood". He replaced it - charged $2500 for all of the work and didn't install it correctly. So his work did cause a major flood with damage. B&D took 3 months to fix the ceiling. The contractor B&D used to fix the drywall and ceiling was shady and would send uncomfortable texts at odd hours. Awful experience.

B & D showed up on time, did the work as promised and left a clean workspace behind. The technician was friendly and went over the work that needed to be done before starting and reviewed it with me once complete.

I thought the plumber would have the fairly standard unit I needed. He didn't, so to get it fixed I went to Home Depot and bought a good replacement while plumber removed the old unit. That worked well and he said I saved a couple of hundred so, good. I haven't paid yet, because he needs to get new seats for the old bathroom sink faucet that has a very slow leak. Need to finish that part or just call it a project and take care of the bathroom later.

First time I've used B & D, and it couldn't have gone better. I solicited bids, and one company simply said the humidifier couldn't be repaired and would need to be replaced for $700. Meanwhile, B & D called me about 20 minutes after I solicited quotes, said they could have someone out on this below-zero day, and gave me a reasonable trip charge that would be applied to the price of any work that would be done. They gave me 2-hour window, during which Drew showed up as promised. He took a look at the humidifier and said it could be cleaned out and made operable again (It hadn't been cleaned in 17 years because we weren't told it was supposed to be). He gave me a very reasonable price ($190). I then asked him if he could tune up our furnace, which he did. The total price was $350 because I was automatically enrolled in their "Home Care Club," which gives us priority when we call them for repairs and eliminates the emergency surcharge for calls for repair at any time on any day. A great deal! Drew was very friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely will use B & D again.

B&D submitted three different bids based on features/add-ins, etc. Very easy to work with. Professional and friendly. Responded promptly. When plumbing vent on the roof could not be installed in January, they returned in April to complete the project. Did not have to remind them! Very happy! Would not hesitate to call again!

I placed a voice mail on their off hours "emergency" line. I had to call again after the business day started to get a response. They were onsite within three hours of that call, quickly got my furnace started in sub zero temps and made a recommendation to replace the furnace. They furnished two competitive quotes. I had to request a written invoice of the services rendered. They have room for some improvement with regards to follow thru service, but I am satisfied with the repair and the cost of that repair.

Work is ok. Billing is a joke. I've called them twice. Twice was told that they would call me back and THEY NEVER DID. Will not use them for my next projects. They gave us one massive bill with NO DETAIL.

i needed the work done quickly since my daughter was coming home and would need access to her bathroom. The work was scheduled quickly and met my needs. The work was done professionally and quickly. The price was higher than I expected for the work that was being done. I did get an estimate once they were on site, but I really had no choice to but to accept since I needed the work done that day or the next. The cost was $379 for the work after the Angie's List coupon and it maybe took them 20 minutes to take off the old fixture and put on a new one.

Great. He had my A/C up and running in no time. He explained the problem. And he made other suggestions that would make it run more efficiently.

Everyone was very accommodating on short notice. The work was done well and the plumber was trustworthy and nice. B&D offered to clean our pipes either by snake or pressured water. We chose to have our pipes cleaned with pressured water, which was more expensive, but we wanted to make sure that the pipes were completely clear to avoid the hassle of needing a plumber again soon.

When I called B&D, they had a spot the very next day. I received a courtesy call before the technician arrived. Vaughn was prompt and pleasant. He found the problem quickly and ordered the part I needed, and the work was completed as soon as it became available. He tightened up some connectors too. I will definitely use them again.

First I would say setting the appointments was easy. I called on Monday, they had times available on Tuesday. It was very easy. In addition, I was sent an e-mail and called when each guy was on his way. The e-mail contained a picture of the repairman with a bio. I thought that was a great touch. The HVAC guy was great. He was on time, looked at what I was asking, quoted me a price ($120) and completed the work. It took him less than an hour. I thought the price was fair. I would rate the HVAC an A. The Plumber is really why they received an overall grade of a C. The Plumber was a very nice guy, there were no issues there. He arrived within the allotted time. He arrived and I showed him the dishwasher and disposal. Our dishwasher backs up from time to time where there is water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher after the cycle is done. We explained it doesn't happen often. We also had concerns with garbage disposal. He explained this happens from time to time with all dishwashers and that the disposal was fine (he said it was a top of the line disposal so very quiet - we didn't install the disposal - was there when we bought the house). I then asked him to tighten down a loose shower/bathtub knob. He said he fixed it the best he could, it was still a little loose. Then, after the "work" was complete - he said it was $220. Thank goodness there was a $30 Angie's List coupon! I was shocked, I didn't really know what to say. He never quoted me a price before any "work" was done, he was there for maybe 40 minutes (half of which he was chatting). He basically did nothing to the dishwasher/disposal and he didn't even fully fix the bathtub/shower. Looking back I wish I would have objected more to the price, shame on me! I guess I was in disbelief about the price? I would recommend B & D for HVAC but definitely NOT for plumbing. They are incredibly expensive. FYI, the person that booked the appointment said there was a $50 service fee but that would be a credit for any work done. The repair person was supposed to give a quote before any work was done. I feel somewhat taken advantage of.

Our furnace went out in the middle of the night, and early today Austin A. was here to help us out. He diagnosed the problem right away, and informed us how to avoid the issue in the future.
