Description of Work: Developed a detailed landscape plan for my yard. That was fine but then quoted a completion cost of over $100k.Granted,it was a major project but I told them my budget was $30k.This was the second time they gave me a nice plan but quoted an extremely high price to complete the work. I understand they do quality work but for me at an unaffordable price.

 + 0 moreRandy came out first and gave us some suggestions via e-mail message as to what we could do to fix our problem. After deciding to go forward with the project, Kenny came out and looked at our problem, and then gave us an estimate via e-mail. After looking that over, we again had Kenny come out to answer some questions. Kenny set up installation dates etc. His crew started job on Tuesday, September 27th and finished on Thursday, September 29th. A few minor things were left undone, so immediately upon calling that same day, one crew member came back out and fixed these details for us. Kenny came out week later to examine project and have us sign off on the work done and an invoice was given.
Description of Work: Fixed grade behind house to get water flowing away from house, installed a drain tile in swale, installed small retaining wall in SW corner of house, fixed grade also on south side of house, put in new river rock and edging, and seeded and fertilized all areas that needed to be reseeded. .

 + -1 moreScenic Specialties Landscape Company was good. They were self-contained. I didn?t know that they were here unless I looked. They were in the backyard and never asked to use the house for anything. They had a radio playing all the time but it wasn?t loud or disturbing. They did a very good job. They were very friendly and just seemed to enjoy the work. They cleaned up well after themselves. I was very pleased with them. The only issue I had was that it took a long time for them to come out. I contacted them in the spring hoping that it could be done soon but they were booked till August at that point of time. It was not their problem but I couldn?t get the job done when I wanted it done. Other than that, I was really happy with everything. They were punctual; they actually came in early and waited outside for me to wake up. I thought that was funny.
Description of Work: I hired Scenic Specialties Landscape Company for some outdoor landscaping work sometime in last summer.
