+ -1 moreTech was prompt (early even). Looked over the furnace and determined the burner was rusted and should be replaced. Ordered new burners and tech came back when part was in and replaced the burners. Shipment of the burners was delayed, but it was still warm out and heat wasn't needed.
Description of Work: Check CO levels of furnace. Found burners were rusted. Ordered new burners and replaced them. Bulk of cost was cost of new burners.

He called back within 30 minutes and had me try a few different things. Problem was two fuses that went bad, which was one of his recommended items to try. Very good service at no cost to me (other than the fuses). Thanks, Chris

Description of Work: Replaced thermostat (per request). Found and corrected problem in furnace where heat would shut off about once a week, then turn itself back on after a few hours. First visit, they replaced the gas valve. A week later, same problem. They came out again and re-installed my old gas valve, then replaced circuit board? I was credited for the price of the gas valve and only charged one service call.

+ -1 moreThey were excellent to work with. We don't like high pressure pitches and they were nice. Came in did the estimate and after several other estimates a month later told them they had the job. The installation guys were very knowlegeable and worked like clockwork together. Seven hours for installation, they showed us tips, helped us with paperwork for rebates, and after they left you couldn't tell they were even here. Warmer in our house though, the fan on the blower is stronger and it circulates the air better. Would recommend this company to my best friend.
Description of Work: Removed existing heating and air conditioning units. Replaced old units with brand new high efficiency Carrier furnace and Carrier air conditioning unit. Note: ended up getting 350 in rebates from Carrier, 350 in rebates from Xcel energy and waiting until summer to get the rest of the 250 rebate from Stearns Electric for the A/C unit.

Description of Work: Cleaned duct work. Removed every register cover both intake and output, and blew air through the system. Very progessional and courteous. They hooked up a giant vacuum to the duct work went to each of the registers and just blew air the the duct work. I wished they would have had a brush or some type of ocillating device that would brush out the ducts more.
